    Is she very tiny?

... I recognise that HDRI. It's a complete pain, because it would be really useful as a background if it didn't have a table right in the space you'd actually want to put a character.

So far, I've only been able to use it for shots that look upwards enough that the table isn't in shot to ruin the perspective.

This one is an experiment with Iray Grungeworks. I created the foxhole by morphing  a plane primitive with 256 divisions using Mesh Grabber, then texturing with dirt shaders.

    Or perhaps extraordinarily wide?

    Portrait of a Lancer.

Inspiration for this one are the Anthem Javelins.

That outfit is quite impressive. the mats/shaters are really well done. Are they the original, or did you tweak them (I guess I should ask wha tthe outfit is too, or outfits if it's a kitbash). The lighting is also perfect. Very well done!

Awesome!! Did you do the bloom in the render or in post?

  • DustRiderDustRider Posts: 2,888

Here is a re-make of an render I did in 2015. The original (can be seen here) is my most successful image here and at DA (successful meaning most like here, and most views and favorites at DA). There were just a few things that I wanted to improve on the original, and this is what I came up with (more info on the new version can be found by clicking on "Gallery Link" below). I think it must be better, since in 48 hours it got more favorites on DA than the original had in over 3 years (the DA version is slightly different)! Although, as I suspected, it looks like it's not going to be as popular here now, since there are so many great images in the gallery.

Title:  The End of the Affair

Another test with an HDR main light.  The only other light in the scene is the spotlight in the hallway just past the door.

Very well done, it really conveys her feelings extremely well.

Mmm, and why aren't they wanting a specimen for their labs of that type of creature? We all know T-Rex's have unparalelled scientifically inquizative minds. Well, after they finish supper.

Yeah, it's easy to see why that got so much attention.  It's spectacular.
