What do you guys think of her.
Her lashes freak me out - but other than that I think her shape is really cute. I like that she comes with braces - that's a nice touch.
Is it just me though, or does her face texture look a bit rough for such a young character? And dang, mirror brows? 2017 and a Daz Original and we're still getting mirror brows?

Too cartoony like Josie 7, if not even more. Victoria/Michael/Olympia have a realistic look, so its hard to have this character in the same scene for consistency. They should make Josie realistic like the other standard characters and save the cartoony look for something like Aiko/Izabella. Not digging the Michael Jackson nose.

Hate her eyelashes - they look ridiculous for a teen. I like her face tho. Makeup is a tad heavy for a teen. I LOVE that she comes with braces tho - that's new and quite awesome.
But the most important thing is, does she render ORANGE???

She's... not really doing it for me. I'm surprised. I'm a big Josie fan in the past. But in her base promos she looks like an advertisement for Zev's recent expression smoothing morphs.
That's the weird thing - basically I'm not a Josie fan. But I actually like pretty much all the stuff in teh pro bundle. Weird.
Does she has separate fibre mesh eyebrows like Olympia? Or are they painted on with the makeups?
If her product page, readme, and associated file list are to be believed, Josie has separate eyelashes but not separate eyebrows. Which is a very odd change to make; I wonder if there was a technical reason for that?

Daz will never officially include genital mats in their teen products, right?
Does anyone know why daz does what daz does?
Truly, those eyelashes are terrible. I can see them as an add on product, for glamour looks for V8/G8...but not as default on a TEEN character. My mind is boggling at that. And can we get rid of them and use normal eyelashes?

Hmmmm. Olympia and Victoria 8 had separate eyebrows that were seem to be a big deal. (I still don't understand the separate eyelashes thing). Why go back to painted on eyebrows for an 8 character?

it's the free items that do that. Known glitch that's been there FOREVER. The coupons won't apply correctly if you have ANY free items in your cart.

Rather like the morph. The texture might well get used. Most of the stuff in the bundles are usable as well. Although a lot of it is "dfferent sames" to stuff for earlier figures. Surprised to see no texture add-ons. But most of them are fairly simple and will probably take shaders.
The eyelashes are a bit of an overkill, but at least one of the add-on characters has lashes that can be dialed back. I suspect that if you get that one in the bundle you can use that feature on the base.
She's got a strong look of Aiko to my reckoning. I think it's the face shape.
Rather startling discount if you've already got the earlier teen bundles. Expect to see the orange banner in the morning.
Biggest flop of the year for me. She's always young princess. Why old aunty now?
I'd really like to see a render with Teen Josie 7 and 8 next to each other....see the differences.
That's a known bug. The free items are wasting a part of the coupon. The $6 is divided to all applicable products in your cart regardless of their price.
Josie isn't bad, but she doesn't inspire me either. Never thought I would say this, but I have enough teen girls. What does interest me is the clothes. I may buy them or the starter pack eventually, if someone makes a clone to fit G8 clothes to G3(and maybe Genesis).

I don't think I'll use the base character as a main character, but I'm ecstatic to get her to join the gene pool. Characters like Willa and Moxie Sparks completely sell the character for me, the items in the Pro bundle are almost universally useful, and being 5'5" makes her a great mix-in candidate. The built-in braces are a useful kicker.

She looks a little... mature. Not that there are no teens in real life that look older than their years, but I was expecting the base teen morph to have more youthful features (ala Julie 5 or Josie 6).
Hmmm I think I'm going to pass. I have the Growing up for G8 so there's all my teen/pre teen/older teen shapes there. And her skin just isn't special enough for me to want it. I think I'll just stick to the AprilYSH hair (never pass up an april hair LOL) and the Raine character for G8 by Vyktoria (which I've wanted since release).
I will say tho, the included braces with TJ8 is one of the best things daz has done with an iconic base character - brilliant inclusion!
She looks to me as if they have tried to combine the fae like with the teen, she looks a bit more like Mika 7 than Josie 7.
I quite like her, she's lost the Thorne & Sarsa look that the old one had. You have to remember that she's a base character. If there's something you don't like, I'm sure you can change it. In some pics she reminds me a little of the girl that plays Selina Kyle in Gotham.

I think she looks great myself, but the hair they used in the promos was not to my fancy. After purchasing and trying on a couple of my favorite hair models on her really made a huge difference. I agree that she looks mature, but I think with G8 unlike G3 everything looks adult-like IMO. Even with growing up the characters just seem to look like adults to my eyes as compared to G3, but it'S not bad thing though. I really like G8, it just looks more realistic, and the expressions are much better. Anyways, I'm happy with my purchases, I got the pro bundle.
