It's really confusing. The bannert first said "Discount excludes new releases and PC+ items"; then it was changed to say "Discount excludes new releases" but they kept the PC+ items in; now the PC+ items are removed. It's hard to say what the correct behavior is... :D
Blast! I had a great cart ready to checkout, but thought, "well...it's an announced sale...I can do this later..." and now they're all twice the price. T_T

I guess Daz has spoiled me. I don't really see 50% off as a flash sale.
It can be 60% plus the 30% DO, bringing it to 72% off, so it's still not bad. It was a lot better when it started, but it's still not bad.
Yeah those work better when we haven’t been getting 50% off on New Releases for a month.
Last years PC+ sale had 40% extra discount on DOs, right? I hope they repeat that again.

Aiko 7 base is a bargain right now if you buy her with a new release, just 2.84
I rarely use any of the other Aikos, so I am wondering if I need her, although I have seen a few nice characters based on her.
M7 pro pack is also very cheap.
It's only 60% off if you also buy a new release. I'm not spending $8-$9 on an item I wasn't planning on buying just to get a tiny bit more of a discount on an Item I DO want. And the 30% off only applies to people with PC+.
So yeah, for me, 50% is a big MEH.
This needs PC+, but if you have that, then the cheapest new item is only $1.39. But yeah, it requires PC+, so without it it's a different math.

I was pretty excited by iray Rain in normal Fastgrab. Though I need to get my rendering groove back. I seem to be going through a dry spell, which is always ugly. Can't escape the 'what if I never make a nice picture again???' fear.
You could try leaving some 'undone' and have an unfinished projects bin.
I have document(s) where I jot down all my good ideas worth exploring when I have time.
That way, you can get to the end of a work with minimal fuss.
I find a sense of accomplishment always pushes me forward.
Also, you should probably take a night to really look at your body of work.
Enjoy what you've done, feel good about your works (or decide you see some areas to improve in) and realize the world needs more.
And worst of all-
is buy something new that inspires you. lol
When I get into a creative funk, I fall back on converting my G3 clothing to G8 and vice-versa. It keeps me working in DS, and I'm getting much better at making necessary changes to make high heels fit the other generation. It's hard not to get ideas of scenes to use the clothing in, and gives me a push back into creative mode.
No need to worry about a "dry spell" if you have Iray Rain

I think what I may do is see about duplicating some pictures that I've found very inspiring. That sort of thing is always kind of educational... and humbling.
That sounds like a cool idea. Or you could duplicate like classic paintings. I find images on Pinterest can be pretty inspiring also.
What I generally do when I start getting in a funk like that is take a night or two off from rendering and just play games, or watch some movies. Mainly just veg out and let the gray matter relax.
