How is it complicated? Can you give me an example cart?
Once again, the additional discount for multiple new items (Featured, Still New, etc.) doesn't seem to be firing for today's sale (Day 6)
Guys, please show me carts.
I HIGHLY recommend the Daz-Deals add-on. It shows you the percentage off of each of the items as well as the percentage off of the total in your cart.
This was my cart.
Put the same stuff in your cart again to see the difference.
No one thing in particular, it's just the mass of categories on the sale page — it's a bit much to take in, coupled with the not always clear phrasing and traditional glitching discounts, leaving me even less sure than usual that the item-, sub- and final totals shown in my cart are (a) correct, and (b) the best deal I can get.
I did use it @divamakeup but I was in a rush and did not check that the discounts were accurate. I should have known better than to go to the checkout immediately. Quite soon after I did that, I saw the comments about discounts not working right. I do wish the email receipt were as clear as the Daz-deals-add on, then you would be able to tell if there were errors.

Well, in my case, it looks like two of the items had 'fine print' attached to them. The special character notes (*, etc.) at the bottom said that they 'didn't count' towards one or more of the discounts. Which is annoying, they probably should have been offset from the other new items in some fashion to reduce confusion, but them's the breaks I guess.
I didn't really need any of the stuff in my cart anyways. The other newly added stuff doesn't interest me, so I guess I'll wait fot another sale. Carry on!
Not me! I use the Daz Deals plugin and that really helps keep track of the discounts, once I go to my cart. Discrepancies are much easier to spot... Like this one:
The PC+ item featured as a Debut release, Fall Trends for Genesis 3 Female(s), is not triggering the 75% Fast Grab discount(s) by itself.
That browser add-on is the bomb! Keeps my inner-geek feeling smarter than it is. :)
hahah I agree. It's made shopping here at Daz a lot more fun and has saved me quite a bit of money. It's fantastic! :)

Edit edit: Thanks L'Adair for pointing out that PC+ item in the Debut New Releases - it triggered another (banner) offer I had on DOs (meaning it should be working on yours - and when I tried it with the giraffe, the 75% discount applied) - maybe refresh cart / log out+in, dance the Daz-Cart-Dance, and try again?

That didn't help, so I went to the catalog and took a look. Many of the items in Debra Ross' catalog are DOs and show at 76% in the catalog, including the giraffe. Can you try again with something from this category: https://www.daz3d.com/wednesday-september-6-fast-grab-items?

Yep. I gave you all the information. Told you the two products from the New Debut, and the discounts, and told you the featured store product, and the discount. But only one URL. I'll do those next time.
The Pines Beach HDRI (which would be free together with the other HDRI) shows only a total discount of 46% for me. Shouldn't that be 55% like the other Debut New Releases (once 2+ are in the cart)?
The Pines Beach doesn't count for earning the extra discount, maybe it also doesn't earn the extra discount.
And in fact it should get the extra discount, just not trigger it. This is now fixed.
it doesn't trigger it, but it doesn't seem to get the extra discount.....the Pines Beach HDR and an item from one of the featured PA stores and both stay at 40% instead of 50%.
It's working fine now. (I had commitments today, and wasn't online until tonight, or I would have reported it working sooner.)

I wonder if you actually need the Dolly Changeable Hair base to use the new "Dolly Changeable Expansion braid". Whether it relies on something from the hair base pack to work, or if you can use it as a prop with other hairs, using iray shaders to have the hair looking the same colour.
Probably it will work fine with other hair. You just might have to do some fiddling to get it parented correctly to a different hair model. I'd say, give it a try. If it doesn't work as a stand alone, you can always buy the Dolly Hair later. :)

I was thinking that. But it'll be quite a while before I can afford to buy the hair so I didn't want to have the braid expansion, find out it doesn't work, then wait six months to buy the hair. LOL. If i'm not doing a side-on or back view, then the difference between it and some other hair wouldn't be too noticeable, I guess.
Try relogging. It worked fine for me.
