That's been my solution, when the cart is too big, or I can't make up my mind. I'm convinced I'll spend less money in the long run if I only buy what I need when I need it. Unfortunately, I don't have the will power to pass up some of these crazy-good deals.

I've used that one any number of times when Daz Math doesn't work out in my favor. The problem today is it's pretty much all stuff i've had my eye on for a long time, and some that I had given myself permission to get when it goes on sale past a certain point. I just hadn't counted on all of it going on sale at the same time
I couldn't say no to the Jetpack.
I cleared out the Genesis 3 stuff (day 3 sale stuff) from my cart though. Pinching my pennies, and those will go on sale again at some point, and those were mainly want/those are pretty items rather than stuff I had immediate use for.
It's good that they added the PC+ new items to the sci fi sale as qualifiers, but the squirts and splashes thingie was on sale for a good price so I grabbed it instead. I might need the PC+ new item (which was a texture set anyways) for the next sale...
Im still digging up products i've had for well over a year; so I'm in no hurry to buy stuff.
I'm convinced G4 is due; I doubt I'll jump on the wagon when it runs over my toes, but waiting means I'll get better discount when G4 finally hits. :) And maybe it will offer something so radical, or such an improvement I will at least test the water. :)
Yeah, we just don't know what G4 will bring. If G3 is any indication, then it will be at least a year before we have all the utilities for it. But then again, we don't know anything about it... It may not require any utilities to be compatible with past generations, in which case hooray, bring it on! :D

Ati and Overdrawn's plugin come in very handy for these kinds of sales. Then you can shop by wishlist only. I also make sure when I'm culling my cart to push things I want but don't need now over to the wishlist. Makes everything much easier.
or 3/4 of it, LOL. Thing is I only have a handful of old items in my wishlist. I wish there was a way to sort from props, clothing, characters, etc since I have no need of older characaters.
I only had 98 items from the set. There wasn't anything from my wishlist in it, but when things are over 90% off, it's worth another look. I still managed to find 16 items for $17.77.
Hmm. As for the sci-fi sale... They fixed the PC items triggering the discount, but some things got taken off the list. Ape World Chimp was in the group this morning, but now it's not. But it's still 50% off. Strange.
After window shopping, 107 items in the cart, time to start trimming.

I feel for others that are trying to build up their sci-fi libraries. LOTS of nice looking stuff in the sci fi sale! I"m not surprised at all to see people agonizing over what gets to stay in their cart, to meet or at least get closer to their allocated budgets!
Well, the sci-fi flash sale is quite limited in scope. There is a lot more that isn't included, but I still had to trim some.

The sale ended without the listed sale price ever showing up in my cart, but since it's over now I guess there's no need to address it. That's sarcasm, by the way.
Same here. I own a surprising amount of it. I don't even do much sci fi rendering or writing at the moment, but they end up in my cart anyhow. I was surprised at how many of the items in that sale I already had. Maybe I need to write a sci fi book to justify it. LOL
I know this won't help, but, I didn't see any change in price when I added NEW items because a previous carted 'new item' was already triggering the max discount for max 70%, not the 73% or even 79%.
It was weird, it was okay for a while and then the cart exploded.
I ended up dumping the previous day's finds and going with all Sci-Fi and now the M4/V4 stuffs.
Going to wait until a little later in the weekend to pull the trigger..
And Petercat, that's a neat looking browser/desktop.

Dumped my cart out of sheer frustration. If DAZ doesn't want to devote the resources to insure that sales actually work before they go live, I don't want to waste the time needed to find, report and correct them. Especially when I can't even get a response from a DAZ rep.
I'm only seeing nine pages unless I uncheck the "Hide Items I Own" box; but unchecked there are 22 pages of V4 and 8 pages of M4 (60 items per page)
He/she may have his page set to 60 items per page instead of 120. Do you guys have your item counts per page set to 60 or 120?
I'm showing 443 M4 items total and 1268 V4 items total, minus the number I already own of course!
Set to 120, showing 11 pages. Which makes me sad.
Either I've spent too much, or I haven't spent enough.
Not sure if it's a glitch or not, but the 65% off part of today's sale includes the new release items themselves, not just the back catalog.
The 65% discount on new releases seem to apply only for today's new releases not the other recent ones (e.g. skin builder)

Skin builder is still probably under the 'new' label; not new enough to fit into the new release catergory but not old enough to get the discount either.
The adcopy states "ANY COMBINATION of new releases on this page..." so the only new releases that qualify are the seven on the sales page. As Skin Builder 3 is still considered a new release, it won't get the discount. But, as the title of this thread says, there's always another sale. The PA Festival is only a few months off, (September,) and traditionally, there are several days where everything in the store is on sale. So if Zev0 isn't a featured artist again before then, you'll be able to get a discounted SB3 sometime in Sept.
I'm a big fan of Zev0's utilities, I've got everything he's released for G3, except today's offering, and almost everything for G2. You just can't go wrong stocking up on things from Zev0!
