    is anybody else having trouble with the platinum club PA coupon "06-17Save6" applying today?

    i've got two items in my cart that the discount should apply to.  but i get the code-not-valid error message and no price change *unless* i add another not-new item to the cart.  *then* the two items' prices drop...

    Just waiting for that new-item fix.  I've been waiting for Dark Fantasy Add-ons to go on sale for a month now.  And another one for... days now.

    I always wonder why Daz employess don't check to see that their sales are working. It seems like everyday some sale fails. By now, Daz should expect that something won't work and should check. Why is it left to users to complain in the forums?

    +1. No, make that + probably thousands. It's unbelievable. And it's not that it is beneficial to them, they lose money every time. Whether it's from glitched lower prices, or people dumping their carts. I feel bad for the PAs. It's better than 4 years ago so far as glitches that hurt the PAs, but it isn't much better so far as sales working when they are launched. Negligible.

    As you may have read earlier in this thread, Peter Fulford started a new thread in an attempt to draw DAZ's attention to the June 6th Stack Up having lost it's discounts, linking to and mentioning this thread. In her reply, Chohole states:

    and reported - as stated in that thread, which is the one we, and Daz, follow.

    There is your proof. DAZ follows this thread and lets us find the glitches for them. Kinda like beta testors. It's always easier for hundreds (even thousands,) of people to find the glitches than it is for one or two people...

    WTH? There's only one item in my cart with a discount of less than 68%, but my total is 45%?
    And Genesis Creature Creator is supposed to be 66% off, not 40%.
    This stuff is getting old.

    And yes, I've refreshed my cart several times.

    .........................Okay, now the discount is correct, but the CC is still 40% off.

    Perhaps that is supposed to mean "a new release from today's new release sales". 

    Because I put a new release in the cart, then put one of the top Selling Genesis 3 SciFi items in the cart, and no extra 40% discount showed up. 

    I think they need to add that to the banner/sale tag, as a normal new release will NOT give you the extra discount... even tho it says it will.

    So for the Sci Fi Flash Sale, the 'new items' seems to exclude PC+ new items.  Other new items seem to work.

    Arrgh! Now Genesis Creature Creator is 38% off instead of 66%, and my cart has gone up $8.00 overall because the discounts on other things have changed by a few %. I give up, if it's fixed in the morning I'll buy, if not, I'll just dump the freakin' magical morphing cart and walk away with my wallet intact.

    ***refreshes cart, discounts return to where they were, CC 40% again. Pounds head on desk, falls to floor unconcious.***
    (Grabs coffee on way down, gotta have some comforts!)

    Just verified, other new items trigger, not Plat though.  And that is the intent.

    so shouldn't there be something that notifies that?  There's no asterix after "...when you buy a new release", like there is down below after featured artists catelogue bit.

    A tough one.

    Cheaper than employing others staff? Not enough time for the staffing levels?

    I have lots of items from Tesla3D and Predatron on my wishlist. I'm trying to narrow the items to the ones I'm planning to use in the next year or so.

    I know your pain.  I've promised to make myself slow down on my purchases here, as I've gone horribly overboard recently.  But this sale hit, and before I knew it my cart was at $260, without that absolutely beautiful Fusion Room that is completely outside of my price range at the moment.  Now for the joy of pruning out my cart :(
