Trying out new purchases City Bike and Teen Princess Leila.
Nice. Thanks for buying it! :-)
The poses are for std.Genesis figures.
It looks like the hands and feet pop a bit into the handlebar and the pedals with this character.
Guess you just need to put her a bit upwards. Or you can use the "lower bike" slider to fit the feet and lower the handlebar a bit afterwards.
What outfit is that? .... fit's perfectly to the bike.
Kind regards, Eagle99
Yeah I noticed the poses were definitely not designed for this character and this render already has tweaked pose. I thought I had posed the character correctly, but obviously not.
The outfit is Wilmap's G2M & G2F Cycling Outfit.
Thank you for making this bike, I've wanted a city bike model for a long time, so as soon as I saw this I just had to get it.
Thanks for posting the render. I've been looking for a city type bike for a long time too and it's going into my cart now.
Thanks this was The Phillophers 32k earth I picked up in the fast grabs this week I used his epic gods rays prop for the solar flare
Nice bicycle render & G8M makes a great Superman too.
Actually it's M6. The cape wouldn't work with G8 even though it's G1.
Oh, still good
Thanks. I was diappointed that I couldn't use G8M, but I'm still pleased with how the render came out.
thats just lovely. , Super work putting it together everything just fits wel together
The building textures don't hold up this close unfortunately.
Change the render engine from Lux to Iray and I love it.
Genesis 8 Male.
I just wanted to do a quick test render of Mike. But I liked the combination of the pose with the wardrobe and hair, so I added the Deco Vignette for a background and tried a couple different HDRI's. This one is from TerraDome 3. (Mike is at world center. I moved the set.)
Repose
Here's a portrait that I did of Olympia 8.

Great bicycle Eagle99, and appears to be your first Daz product. So congratulations, and it's already in the 'What's Hot' section of the store, and now purchased, and in my runtime. Looking forward to your future releases.
Kind regards,
This looks pretty cool. I need to get some dog models.
Thank you....
Yes, it's my first learning by doing project that I brought to a state that is satisfactory for me.
I had no idea what to expect from the sales, but it looks like the people like it. Makes me confident to go on.
Kind regards, Eagle99
Changed my mind about sharing!
So I went and tried out a volumetric lighting toutorial that was posted on the forum.... and it worked!

just over 2 hours for 15000 itterations on a GTX 1060 6GB card. (finished at just over 30% convergence!)
Ooh wonderful lighting!
....yikes 2 hours on a GPU, that owuld translate to something like 10 - 12 hours on my system.
However, nicely done.
If I'm understanding exactly how it works, you can use a smaller volumetric area for each of the "God Rays" that you will have in your scene. Mine is just one large volumetric area covering the entire room starting right in front of the camera. Theoreticly using targeted areas should cut a considerable amount of time off your render depending on how many and how big your "God Rays" are.
Which volumetric lighting tutorial did you use?
That's amazing, well done!
Flirting
A comment/tip from Midnight Stories helped me realize how to use Substance Painter way more effectively.
So here's a skin I whipped up for G8M. Eyes/eyelashes are default (I can certainly make eyes, just didn't for this)
I think it's pretty decent for a fairly quick (few hours) procedurally layered/painted thing, rather than using a photo model. To do it 'right' would require adding proper wrinkles around joints/hands/etc.
SickleYield's tutorial over on deviantart (search for the following without the quotes "Tutorial-Creating-Dust-And-Atmosphere-in-Iray")
In the middle of my big content re organize..
A case where a scene overcome with very bright lights works and looks good too.
