    It looks spectacular, but expensive buy-ins are too much competition with all the other stuff on sale. I tried it in the cart and didn't have enough dollars to go around - ended up wishlisting it for now.

    Last of the store credit is poofed with a whole PA cycle left to go, and before whatever shenanigans happen Monday. Hard stop on the budget barring a couple spot buys, but I'm grateful for the goodies I got! :)

    I'm not too worried about waiting for it. I'll guarantee it'll be on 50% off sale in a few weeks like most recent new releases.

    It should have prevented prices lo be lowered under 1.99 on store pages, but the price floor is advertised (see the 'Minimum price after discount: $1.99.' under  the FAS icons) and was visible from the start.

    But a customer should be able to open their browser, go to the store or wishlist, and see product prices, and have those prices appear in the cart. No customer should be required to go to a different web page, scroll and scroll to find some fine print on some portion of that other page, and be expected to understand that that particular fine print applies to the items they selected from the store product pages or wishlist. Fine print on Daz sales is often inaccurate and has to be amended after customer complaints. What is to be believed?
    A price on the product page should be the maximum ever charged. A sale might lower that price, but no "sale" conditions should ever increase an advertised product price.

    @barbult yet there are times when we put items in the cart and the price drops! I don't think people complain about that. At very least, they shouldn't complain.

    A sale should only lower a price in the cart, not raise it IMO. If the price drops in the cart, peoiple assume some convoluted buy-in, buy-multiple, buy-this-get-that sale kicked in.

    I probably shouldn't highlight this either really as someone will fix it, but I've managed to get 30 items in my basket with new release and artist item (32 total) before losing the max discount on individual products instead of the advertised 20 all weekend.

    It's intended: tokens (and coupons) are able to break price floors.

    Sometimes the details of a sale are so convoluted or complicated that I get a headache reading them.

    All too often I just skip a sale because it's too complicated.

    Unless there's something good tomorrow, I think I am done with this weekend's sales, even though there's a few other things I have been considering. One is OS, so price probably isn't changing for another week. As for the rest, they are just Nice to Haves, so if their prices increase tomorrow, it's fine by me.

    I've been off the wagon for a couple months save for a $4 buy last weekend. If you are interested in filament for its speed, I do recommend https://www.daz3d.com/filament-pro-lights-and-rendering-secrets--2-new-lights--video-tutorial . It's not exhaustive, but it's a good start point and it was worth the money as a bottom tier QG item. 

     

    I feel like a one-month membership and a spin through outlet and OS would be really nice. But I also feel like I could just work with something wonderful from the 5300 items already in my library. And as I still need to develop my filament fu, I may just sit out a while longer.

    Yup. A very large portion of the time, I shop off my WL. Especially when there are multiple different days' worth of sale promotions running, I don't want to have to keep track of which item might be featured in one of them and what the fine print on that particular promo might be. Given that most price drops in cart require a buy-in lately, browsing by sale page is inefficient, pointless, and cumbersome for me.

    what a laugh

    MEMORIAL-GEN will never give 80% off on most the items selected because of the $2.99 minimum price

    MEMORIAL-M4V4 works on a few M4V4 things I may or may not want with the $1.99 minimum 

    got a choice of about 10 before it drops to less percentage off

    Yup. Fastest way to get me to not even look at the offerings.

    Don't tell me it's going to be X% off if it's not going to give me X% off.

    Had been hoping for something that piqued my interest today, but nope. Maybe membership month will do it... perhaps not. I don't have high hopes, but MM surprised me, so I'm reserving judgment.

    One 'good' thing DAZ has done was bring in the Outlet store bit, i've bought quite a lot of stuff once it's rotated around into that category, largely thats where I enjoy looking and i'll drop stuff into my wishlist so I can sort by price to see if its ended up on that sale, definitely recommend that approach.

    The main sales however are pretty laughable, I use gen 3 for bigger scenes, or background characters for example, but there is no chance i'm buying stuff when the base price is 4.99, let alone the fact a lot of the stuff is actually in the store for less than that, and almost everything has been cheaper than 4.999 recently. (same applies to other categories too)

    Don't worry though if you want to buy some older stuff at a still more expensive price than it is currently listed in the store then you need to buy one brand new item for gen9 laugh

    Memorial Day sale is a joke, IMO. Absolute junk in the G8 section, mainly hair and character morphs.

    New releases don't inspire much enthusiasm either. Same old, same old.
