Hello everyone, after a long break I've started working with Carrara again. The break helped me gain new insights; I was able to improve my lighting setup quite a bit, and this is a new result.

Looks good, pretty spooky.
A good result, indeed, Khoe
Thank you :)
Looks great!
thank you :)
I also created an animation of the image using AI. It's quite interesting.

Very well done. Did the fish survive?
A I can be useful
I created this song and video using some of my images and A I
Probably not, that's the one the pterosaur got. ;)
As some of you will remember, I am not fond of AI, especially in creativity, since instead of being a tool it usually becomes a substitute to whom (which) you commission the art instead of doing it. So, like Wendy put it some time ago, maybe it's art, but not my art.

That said, sometimes the results are amazing. Your animations are interesting, indeed.
And I still can't believe how good this is:
Excellent work !!!
Thank you :)
Next Image is redy.
Cool, nice depth.
very epic looking
thank you
Impressive as always, Khoe
Even though the meaning and origin of the strange monolith (aka ChocoPortal, from now on) are still shrouded in mystery, the Chocorabbits want, nevertheless, to take advantage of this convenient and funny discovery.
But any new technology should be used with caution, avoiding misuse before understanding it enough to be safe.
Otherwise, unwanted and potentially dangerous effects may occur.
Best wishes for a…
TECHNOLOGICALLY SAVVY EASTER 2026!

Carrara 8.5 Pro render. No A.I. was annoyed by asking it to do this for me.
OMG but I want to see an AI animate it
what's Easter without a terrific @therixx image
Chocodile Croc
Cool, pretty surreal. If you go the dangerous, scary route to animation, you might find inspiration here:
- Thank you, Master @Stezza! What's this thread without you
- Ahh, the famous frog rain scene from "Magnolia", @SteveK. I saw that movie so many years ago, maybe it's time to rewatch it.
- @Wendy, you know that, at least for the moment, I don't like to use AI in my images; but of course I realize that there is a difference between having an image completely made by AI and doing your image by yourself and then having the AI helping with filters, animations or something like that. So, if you think it can be animated that way and really want to see that (I wouldn't know where to start), Chocorabbits grant you a special permission to animate the scene with AI. We can also provide you with higher resolution renders ;-)
By the way, I noticed an issue and maybe I should post it in the thread about tips on using stuff in Carrara. So, the lens flares are directly made by Carrara, but they were supposed to be stronger than what I posted. They were ok while I was rendering at small sizes, but my final renders are 4096x2304, and the higher the resolution, the weaker the lens flares become. So I raised the streaks intensity to 100 and here it is again, but like it was meant to be since the beginning.
therixx while I am neutral about AI, I do respect others views on it
I mostly use it myself, to enhance and animate existing images I have or have made
family photos, my 3D renders etc
I will prompt stuff too but that is something I am not so invested in as I had no hand in creating it, it's just pretty pictures and animations I play with for fun
no point in high resolution either as AI, at least the free versions (and I won't pay for it) are all low resolution
