Boomerang, Wirraway and the Southern Cross
In addition to aircraft made by Briney there were also aircraft made by Neil Wilson, and Pedro Caparros, big shoes to fill and unfortunately Neil has passed away ....
Gorgeous render !!!
Wow, quite a selection. I'm always impressed by the accuracy of vehicle models, seems like the modeler must have the actual plans.
wow @bunyip02
you're gonna need a bigga SSD!
Thank you all, guys. Chocorabbits are flattered.
@Stezza, I think it has to do with some space-time distortion caused by the portal ;-)
I was thinking the same the other day..
I have 4 drives installed ( 3 x SSD and 1 x HDD ) and was thinking the HDD may need replacing, so I checked my space left and all seems to be ok for the time being.
Got two extra 8TB hard drives sitting in my office which I bought on a sale.
However with the graphics computer playing up and the change-over to Windows 11 coming up which my computer can not be upgraded to, thinking of getting a new computer.
Was thinking of upgrading the computer but I bought it in 2016 so it is getting a bit old.
Doubt that I would have enough saved by the Windows change over date to buy the computer that I want, so might have to extend the use of the graphics to the new year.
Mossy Video
Nice work Wendy !!!
awesome mossy work there Wendy
Woah, kinda spooky.
thanks everyone
I am just happy the VWD bridge worked on my Win7 with only 8GB of RAM
it's been an issue since one stick died and it even let me grab the saved file on my Win10 over my wifi network which is very dodgy
(been having to email them to myself)
dunno why but even DIM downloaded 16GB of stuff on that PC without failing too
(it's the ancient DLink Dongle that's the issue, I was thinking about reloacting the PC to my loungeroom and plugging it into the modem too but I would prefer not to)
I had to search on that ... "In von Willebrand disease (VWD), von Willebrand factor (VWF) acts like a bridge, connecting platelets to the damaged blood vessel wall (subendothelial matrix) to stop bleeding." Sounds like you should be really happy that worked ...
I miss Philemo, he would likely know why it won't work on my Win10 PC as he created it, Virtual World Dynamics itself works but Carrara won't load with the plugin added on Win10, it throws up an error in French (he is French)
Hey all, long time no see.
I recently bought a 360 degree camera with one of the goals to create 360 degree HDRIs. Here are a couple renders I did with a couple test HDRIs. To simplify things I used the same model with my procedural skin shaders. I added a distant light lined up with the sunlight in the HDRI. The base photos were taken at Copper Falls State Park in Wisconsin.
I didn't do any post-work except add a DOF in Affinity Photo.
I do have a couple questions regarding best practices for HDRI creation, but I'll do that in another thread.

Hi EP hope there was not too much damage with them twisters...
Ken Gilliland has a limited time freebie prop over at Rendo.. a bird bath with birds...
Backyard Birdies
We had some in our area, and the storm definitely went overhead. However, no tornados touched down within about 5-10 miles from me. If there were funnels, it was impossible to tell as it was pitch black at night with heavy rain.
and howling wind I'd reckon....
the lost sphere
While testing with gaea to create better landscapes, especially at close range, the image was blurry, but I don't like an empty landscape, so I gradually added more and more things, and finally, the dinosaur.
Nice. Rendered in Carrara?
yes rendert in Carrara
Great render. Do people know if those giant flying reptiles were carrion birds? Don't know what made me wonder; perhaps the carcass.
We see them in the park behind our house occasionally, but my wife the serious birder says she's not sure if they're carrion "birds". But probably yes.
