To fix the hands and face for a closeup LowPi, I create a wearable Genesis 3,8, or 9 skin. Somewhere I think I posted instructions in this thread. Your LowPi looks pretty good as she is.
(I dislike the right arm/forearm/hand weight mapping on LowPi. It makes her right arm look rubbery and deformed to me. That is not a problem that you created, though. A symmetrical character mesh should have symmetrical weight mapping, but LowPi doesn't. The left arm bend is much nicer than the right.)
Here is an example of LowPi and a LowPi with a G9 wearable skin suit. I had to apply a darker skin to LowPi in the render where he is visible, because the default light shiny skin was blown out in this lighting. The G9 Skin is a more glossy verson of Gabriel. Anyway, you can see the big improvement in face, eyes, fingers and toes with the g9 skin suit. Underneath it all, it is LowPi with the visibility of his bones turned off. If I generate a crowd and want the G9 skin on some of them, I use Dress Em Up to apply the G9 skin suit to the selected LowPis.
Has anybody else had their basic LP Crowd Generator Manual overwritten by the Areas and Slope Extensions manual? Whether I click the shortcut script in the Scripts folder within DAZ Studio, or go directly to LP Crowd Generator Manual.pdf in the scripts folder in Windows File Explorer, I get the wrong thing.
This is what I get:
The Areas and Slope Extensions shortcut script in DS and the corresponding .pdf both load the expected file.
I'm using the beta release/public build on Windows 11, if that matters.
Must check, looks like QA didnt use the latest upodated zip when Packaging, (I updated the manual in it as I saw this issue ), I didnt notice whe packing, just but a day after.

Update in the works. My bad to first copy the wrong file, then QA sadly missed that I had an update for the update..... (LowPi is deadly complicated these days)
Are there any possibility to preview placement of LowPI before its full generation?
Or is it just a guesswork?
It's guesswork, but based on the random seed, but as the seed also is used for randomization of everything else, they wont end up at the same place of you change some of the many settings causing one more or less random number to be picked.
How placement works, it picks a random position depending on what you populate, checks if it's free and not too close to any other LowPi in the generation run, and keeps doing that until all are placed or it runs out of possible places (which happens in tight spaces and lots of lowpis...(
Just trying out PhilW's Beach addon set - I discovered I don't have a great beach environment (anyone have any suggestions?), so I had them swim in Stonemason's Village by the Sea harbour instead!
@MelanieL: Looks great, and sorry, I dont have anyone good beaches either, D-Day Beach isn't a good holiday beach either (which I used when testing this)
Nice work, @MelanieL I don't have a decent beach to use the Beach add-on with, either. I have a lot of beach poses and props, but no beach. Maybe this one would work? I don't have it, and can't buy it right now, so I can't say for sure. Otherwise, it might be a product idea for any interested PA(s).

Thanks for the suggestion - it's on my wishlist now! (Actually I think barbult used it in one of hers somewhere in this thread.)

No, not perfect! Actually it reminds me of some of the North Sea beaches of England in my early childhood - there were still lots of concrete bunkers around then. Also some mines (de-activated) and I think a tank somewhere.

I did discover that I have a Predatron bundle called Seaside Walkway and Palm Tree Bundle, which I bought in a sale for the palm trees, but it has a beach scene in it which my search for "beach" failed to find. Here it is:

Letting Go of Summer Love
LowPi
LowPi with G9 Skin Suit Wearable
A huge difference and very clever!
Excellent, @barbult
Have to experiment more.
Have tried to cover as much as possible of LowPi figure.
The latest update (bugfix) for CrowdGenerator is now in DIM!

Yes - and no.
In the >People>LM Low Poly Person >Scripts directory I have an
LP Area and Slope Manual dated 1/27/2025 and 17,839 KB - 10 pages
LP Crowd Generator Manual dated 10/19/2025 and 8,095 KB -- this is actually the LowPI Areas and Slopes Manual - 10 pages
LP Crowd Generator Plus Manual dated 08/26/2025 and 12,587 KB - 11 pages

Link to the correct manual: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/prsxi1bddkv1m8hxxzy47/LP-Crowd-Generator-Manual.pdf?rlkey=cshn1bt9rkg5t26wbuv77x9mz&dl=0
Will check if I can get QA to pack the correct one!

Thank you!

DIM installer for Crowd Generator is now updated!
Just tested the updated version.

Testing different shaders on the skin of LowPI.

You can always generate a crowd and then move or rotate any figures that you're not happy with the position of.
Thanks a lot, @Totte and @PhilW
Yes, I adjust a position and poses of LowPI characters after placement.
Just want to confirm, that I am not missing something.

Great image, @MelanieL
I have to try the beaches I already have, to see if they will look good with LowPi.
Great work MelanieL and thanks for using my set! I used this one for some of the promos (but I am sure there are others):
Secluded Island | Daz 3D
A few I have. Haven't tried them with LowPi
Summer Island
PW Caribbean Island
PW Bikini Islands
The Cave Island
DA Palm Island
Secluded Island
Thanks for all the suggestions, folks. I don't have a single one of them (yet)! I'll see what turns up in sales later this year...
I found one at Renderosity that was free back in June. Maybe you have it?
Relaxation Beach
I don't even remember getting it, but I have it.
Oh, I must have missed that one!
I did discover that I have a Predatron bundle called Seaside Walkway and Palm Tree Bundle, which I bought in a sale for the palm trees, but it has a beach scene in it which my search for "beach" failed to find. Here it is:
Nice - glad you found one!
