I am busy rendering heavy Howie Farkes scenes 1280x720p because that's the biggest I can animate with Ai on my PC using the Pinokio Browser Wan2.1app LTX Ai Image to Image

I use the upscaler so they end up full HD

my Ryzen3 pretty slow at rendering with 4 lousy tiles but I can run the Ai animation on completed renders at the same time as it uses the GPU

    so there's that

Very nice.  I've never considered animating a H_F scene since single frames took forever.  cheeky

understand which is exactly why my one dead celebrity video series of my favourite glam rock singer is friends only on facebook and will never be shared to the general public

I guess I should start using the friends except filter option for any questionable Ai stuff too

I would find the objections by some in Hollywood more persuasive if they had not given multiple academy awards to Forrest Gump, and nominated Zelig for multiple academy awards - two movies which not only used earlier footage, but made the incorporation of previous footage central to the movie.  Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid?  One could argue that those examples are different because they got permission to use some footage, and other footage was public domain.  To which I reply, exactly.  Exactly.  I agree and go way out of my way to make sure I am using materials for which I have permission, or are in the public domain, or otherwise compliant (fair use...).  I do not feel shamed when people who themselves are in large part responsible for our rules for the relevant copyright (Motion Picture Association and their lobbyists) complain that I use public domain material.  To the charge that my efforts will never be better than slop - guilty.  My lack of skill is not going to stop me, which makes it no different than 3D.  To the charge that people should not spam anyone, including the family of Robin Williams and other actors, I agree wholeheartedly.  I won't do that.

I certainly post Ai versions of dead people, namely my parents but I can understand where Robin's daughter is coming from

public domain stuff is just that and free to reuse

That side bar about the neuro scientist talking about an AI actor is kind of amazing. To be talking about such superficial AI topics. Instead of topics like this, just one of many.

"A.I. Video Generators Are Now So Good You Can No Longer Trust Your Eyes - Welcome to the era of fakery. The widespread use of instant video generators like Sora will bring an end to visuals as proof."  (NYTimes, 9Oct2025)

I noticed I have trouble searching my HowieF assets. Wanted to see what I have. The search here needs some help. The tagging seems also limited.

I follow an Ai "artist" who generates the most beautiful ethnicly dressed and bejeweled cats, I say ethnic as cannot pinpoint exactly what culture it is but definitely Middle Eastern, Eastern European, Mongolian, Asian fusion.

Now here is the bit that I had to pick myself off the floor and not say anything

She was upset people were copying and stealing her art

sorry lady, You have great taste but Midjourney, Veo3 and Suno Ai is creating your art trained on other things

yes its unique and you certainly curated your prompts well

    but surprise

    an example of her work

    it is truly beautiful
