It seems that I'm hogging this thread. No one else rendering older buys? ;) Or are just the sales so absorbing there's no time for rendering?

This is the last of the four covers, and one that took a lot of work, both before the render (cutting off Daz Dragon's wings) and after it. As always, the gallery image with the final cover and pre-postwork render included, and more about the process on my website.

Now onto rendering more of my not-so-new things. I've got quite a backlog.

All your four covers are FANTASTIC, joanna. My favorite is the second one, but all are a great blend of DAZ and postwork, and are at an awesome professional level. You definitely met your goals, and are keeping us inspired! Thanks for sharing.

Otherwise, it's just that real life was a bit hectic for me and I slept on the following render for a week (I didn't find the time to answer your previous answer, but I'll try, in the meantime, thank you for that), which was not a bad thing in the end: it gave me time to tweak the cup a little with Blender (by default the bottom is empty and while it was not that visible, I knew and it was enough) and to remove the glassy part of the coffee machine (because I didn't know how to add some coffee at its bottom).

One regret: I don't have breadcrumbs and didn't find either a way to create them myself or a product with them.

I think there is 7 items I never used before (in a render published in the gallery).

Two for Lacey's poses:

Her pajamas was also the first time I used it. As I said in the description, it's from Nelmi on Renderosity.

Four (five if Elleque's nice freebie counts) as part of the decors:

So, 'Morning routine', an entry for the 'Llola Lane’s RENDER A MONTH Challenge 2025' (theme of August, shape and I have chosen to use a rectangle):

Every morning it’s the same routine: Lacey wakes up, makes herself a cup of coffee and spend a bit of time revealing in the smell of hot coffee.

Victoria find it both cute and funny, not that she would ever explain to Lacey the why of the later.

The truth is, as a non-believer in coffee, she thinks that coffee smells nice but doesn't taste great.

So, each time she saw Lacey’s doing her morning routine, she could not avoid imagining that the first step of that routine was saturating Lacey’s nose’s smell receptors, to make her brain unable to process the taste of coffee.

Not that she was willing to test her theory, of course, especially because in the end, it didn’t matter: after all, coffee did put a smile on both her faces.

I've been mostly been doing nerdy stuff for my own projects.

For example, teaching G9 how to bend (almost) exactly like G8, which is something I need for technical reasons:

(And eventually I'll need to do the opposite, but I've at least worked out the basic principles now...)

Zirael Flyte Hatchback Family Car - not a true first use, as it's appeared in the background before, but first time being used as a focal prop. Taking advantage of GCJellyfish's feature rich products here - although ultimately I decided the spare tyre that comes with the product was far too practical; my job is causing mythological creatures modern inconveniences, so I went off and modelled a spacesaver spare.

I'm kind of on a quest to use all the stuff I bought throughout the years, so I did one picture for Daz contest and managed to use #4New items. At least I think I haven't used any of them yet...

I like Autumn Witch outfit and that it provides non-dForce version for the skirt to remain puffy, but there was also something weird going on when reposing the character. The dress would get randomly distorted. Had to delete it and reapply it to fix. And Halloween Forest works really nice out of the box. Gallery image here.

Another render, Sunset at the beach, done to 'showcase' the worn around the hip version of G8F Everyday shirt on G8M, so I needed a volunteer and decided to start from my previous render (which at one point was also done with both of them wearing the Everyday 2 outfit but ended with swimsuit because I didn't want to deal with a simulation to get the top and pants to play nice with each other and with the hands of the two figures).

I used the Cross-Figure Ressource Kit to fit the G8F version on G8M and applied textures from Everyday for G8M on it (more informations about the CFRK on the gallery).

I'm going to criticise the scimitar product for having all its hand pose presets embedded with a load of unnecessary data that resets a huge heap of the pose controllers (not direct pose values, but instead things like expression and "heeled foot" poses), which also bogs down the load massively. I have put in a ticket about it, but have yet to hear back.

How long does Sue Yee's suspender skirt get with the length morph? I don't think it's shown on the promo renders and the skirt looks quite short on them.

About 6 or 7 centimetres longer (roughly 2.5 inches). Still not very long, but characters will still have a markedly better chance of keeping the colour of their knickers a secret.

The short morph is however perfect for anyone who wants to play panty-peakaboo on hard mode.

Regarding the non-folding laptop while you very likely have the knowledge to rig the one you used, in case you already have the following product, there is a folding laptop in Shinjuku Living: it's a bit old in its design and it has a japanese keyboard, but it's rigged and it has a CD tray rigged

I have a new render, Vigil, for 'Llola Lane’s RENDER A MONTH Challenge 2025':

A light breeze was blowing around Victoria while she kept vigil for the coming battle.

Was it faith, was it a strange meteorological event, Lacey could not say, but she kept a vigil of her own, from the shadows, ready to dispose of any fool trying to take advantage of her beloved vigil.

Like rogues and paladins, light and shadow make strange bedfellows, but as her grandpa always said, to praise the work her grandma did in the shadow, allowing him to shine, ‘It is the shadows that give strength and depth to the figures in a painting’.

I did this one for Kindred Arts' Monster Mash Freebie Challenge for October. (Please check it out and join in - it's a lovely challenge to inspire some fun Halloween renders!)

This one's going for #StuffSoAncient, where I used 3DU's Monsters in my Cupboard for the first time, which was released in 2010 according to the read-me. What a fun adorable character! Has lots of morphs to customize its appearance and randomize scripts to create a random monster using the morphs, with random coloring etc.

Story: Pierrot and Pierrette's trick or treating is waylaid by a monster hungry for their cupcake treats!
