Did the blurb for Grazia change?

    yes

I'd wishlisted Grazia for G8 at the R place and there is no mention there of the morph either. The chest area is crumpling the clothing a bit on that version too.

Trekline for Genesis 9 Texture Add On appears to have been accidently released early. Or the Trekline for Genesis 9 wasn't released at all.

My guess is the first option.

And I don't recognize the model in the promo pictures. Really has a Mark Rolston (Drake from Aliens) vibe about him.

    We have pointed this out.

Err. Yeah. Not like any librarian I have ever seen - and my wife was a University Librarian. There were some library users who were aked to leave and start wearing something before returning who dressed more conservatively than that.

In contrast to the 'Librarian', I do like Matty Manx's https://www.daz3d.com/mmx-vdb-smoke-fx-01  VDB smoke. It looks very useful. I've tried the VolumeToVDB conversion script with different volumetric shaders and never really been happy with the results. Having some readymade smoke models would work well I think.

    Regards,

    Richard

Thank you Richard, I had totally missed that MMX new release. In my cart now. I agree with you on librarians. I volunteered at the base library at Vandenberg AFB CA for a long time, and the civilian staff was always in professional clothing. Even as a volunteer in my offduty time, I was expected to wear appropriate clothing, even working in the back rooms, stacks, or later at the desk.

Right up there with the nurse (and a lot of other service profession) outfits.

    Yeah, no.

+1 also missed it. On the WL it goes! (The outlet store + Julian already -- happily -- ate my budget for the week).

Would be more interested in the environment/lighting vignette that was used to create those lovely promos than in the garments themselves!

    Same!!

Ansiko's promo renders always have great lighting and moods.

Very much agree, it looks lovely vintage-y. The clothes are fine, but I think they lack the illusion of thickness, and there're no buttons on the shirt I believe. I put them on the WL, but if the set was to come together with the environment, it'd be an insta-buy for me.

    Not that I see.

Even Jack in Daz+ forum mentioned that the new + releases aren't out yet and might be released later today.

The only one I've seen so far is the weekly freebie.

Ah, didn't see that, I posted about them in the main sales thread. All very confusing for my oldish brain.

Admiring the Back to the Future inspired items today purely for nostalgia purposes. It all looks well-made, though I don't have a use for it... I did WL the https://www.daz3d.com/xi-dance-hall, though. I can't imagine putting it to its intended purpose, but balloons (especially the seahorse and narwhal) were just too delightful to pass up. The jellyfish lights were quite awesome, too.

The Easy Geometry Hider https://www.daz3d.com/easy-geometry-hider is an instabuy for me. I'm constantly messing about with Geometry Editor and this looks like it will make the job easier. Fingers crossed!

We can create the slit effect added to the dress visible on the last promo render within Daz Studio ?

dForce hair is such a great tool, but so much of it and its wide variety of options are too hidden. Nevermind omni hair, which has its OWN separate settings.

Laticis' newest product opens both up nicely so you can understand what you are doing better.

Just keep in mind that scripts for DS 4 have a good chance of not working in DS 2025. They would require an update from the vendor, which may or may not happen and may of may not be a free update.

I love the Back to the Future references. The 80s were the best. Sadly no character bundle today. This week they were SLACKERS wink

Although there were character bundles for the last two weeks the previous norm has been for a character bundle every 2 weeks.

This is true, and had me debating using my free bundle coupon for Julian 9 last week.  I didn't and I'm sitting on it now and I'm hoping another one comes out next week.  I'm being a bit greedy with the character bundles this month because I, in an ironic twist, was the SLACKER for not using my coupon.

Yes, that's why I have been avoiding purchasing any scripts/plugins for a while, and even more so now. I would guess that maybe some might be updated for free, but I would think most vendors will feel a need to be compensated for the time required, especially on more complex scripts and plugins.

I've already decided to stick with 4.24 as I use so many scripts and plugins on a daily basis that there's no chance they'll all get updated.
