I have the same feeling about it. I do like, but not enough to get beyond the wishlist stage at the moment. Possibly too little extra compared to setting up an avenue of trees around a path in US2. No. That sounds a bit demanding when I don't mean to be. I do like it. Just.. not at the moment.

no shade to the PA but I have enough trees and environments, biomes, programs that do full environments to terraform Mars cheeky

still a nice spooky grove is always handy

That one entered my Wishlist right away.  I'm biased toward horror, fantasy and sci-fi.  It's the perfect location for an evil dryad to wreak some havoc!

I can't quite figure out what kind of weapon the Hellbringer is supposed to be. The description is pretty sparse, and none of the promos show it firing. It has what looks to be a cylinder of barrels like a minigun, but is actually a single very wide bore. The tank attached to it suggests that it's something like a flamethrower, in which case the wide bore would make it very ineffective.

There is also what looks like a vaccuum cup, so my guess it's a futuristic multi-tools plumber weapon: afterall, you never know when a zombie will attack you while you're trying to unclog your client toilets.

Kinda looks like an "all of the weapons" combine to me.

I'll assume that it's a hand held varient of a continuous fire weapon. The tubes around the barrel being cooling pipes for the liquid jacket around the barrel. Furthermore, it's got a liquid propellant that's stored as two separate inert components (fuel in the tube & activator in the shoulder rest). However, I have yet to work out where the shot it stored, unless it is stored in the trigger handle and foams to final size on entry to the breech.

Complete fantasy, obviously, but makes the weapon seem slightly less irrational.

    Richard

I like the 'Mountain Hiking HDRI's'. I love mountains like the Alps, and high alpine meadows have a beauty second only to the northern edge of the tree-line adjacent to the Tundra. These HDRI's invoke the feeling you get in these high areas on the edge of habitation.

I want to say I 'Really Like' them, but I'm sad to say that I can't. The HDRI's don't look that sharp in the promo images, and the sharpness of the models in front of the HDRI's only emphasises how soft the focus is on the HDRI's. The promo that most saddens me is this one:

It just looks wrong where the character is. I hope it's just the promos not being as good as they could be and that the promo artist accidentally used the wrong resolution image.

    Richard

The shadow direction and sharpness of the models in front don't match the HDRI either.  It looks like a bright light was added to shine on the models from a different angle than the HDRI, implying that the HDRI does not provide enough light. This is a pass, based on the promo images.

...am I the only one disturbed by the words "She has a custom HD belly button morph and another nipple morph" on a minor?

Was considering https://www.daz3d.com/cj-lulu-hd-for-genesis-9 until I saw her lips are sculpted in a perma-part. Hard pass on anything that can't do a true neutral without tweaking. If I want that expression (and I have yet to) I'll dial it in myself.

On the fence about https://www.daz3d.com/v3d-britney-hd-for-genesis-9 -- I like her well from some angles, less from others. Going on my WL to think about it, maybe she'll fit someone later.

I do wish, on character promos, that the promo artists would refrain from using hair that covers up part of the figure -- either face or body.

I will confess I had not looked because I thought the character looked a bit creepy. As if she's a young girl all dressed up for a children's beauty pagent - an event I regard as deeply creepy. Let the children be children not miniature adults. So, I was already disturbed by the first shop front image and had been put off already.

I reject all models with the permanent lip gap, too, after buying one and not realizing that it was permanent. Now I am aware and steer clear when promos look like that.

Promos show that clothing doesn't fit the chest well either. Where has all the quality gone in this store?

I generally agree with you. But I've broken my sort-of rule with one character: Cherubit's Milan. The reason being the perma-part was relatively small & quite simply, the character is beautiful, particularly in the zero make-up state. I don't feel the same perma-part rule exemption applies to CJ Lulu. I may be demonstrating a personal preference here..

Why does this product https://www.daz3d.com/millenials-internet-shop say that the monitors are CRT style, when they look flat screen to me.

I remember using internet cafes a lot when travelling back in the early 2000s, in a time we did not all have permanent internet via our phones. I am fairly sure most of the cafe's I used, particular in poorer countries, the monitors were old style CRTs. Internet cafes back then typically used older stuff to cut costs, so many would not have swapped to flat screens until later.

You are right. There are no CRTs there. I only see flat screens. Remember how heavy CRTs were?

I had to go back and look to see what you were talking about... I so rarely read the blurbs unless I'm really set on getting something.

I'm not seeing anything in Britney's description that says she's a minor, and I certainly wouldn't have made that assumption looking at her.

If you're making the association based on the sale theme for the day, I think that would be more on Daz than the PA. (Though maybe your comment was meant for Daz picking a product for that description for the theme?)

With you on the beauty pagents, though if this is Britney, something about the eyes made me think more mid-late 20's. She looks a little too tired to be a child.

Oof. And say farewell to half your desk space.

My parents still used one into the early 2010's.

I hadn't read the blurb: but I remember shifting CRTs around. I don't think I could still lift the last one I had.

Oh... yeah, I see what everyone was talking about now. Looks like they both have the description... Grazia's definitely a minor, though, and eew to have that included.

Where does it say or show her lips are scupted that way? I don;t see it anywhere.

I see only the belly button now, perhaps it was a copy/paste issue and has been fixed.

Most of the promo shots show it, including the neutral full-body front/back at the end. It's less obvious in the last one, but if you zoom in, you can still see her lips don't meet.

Yeah, I saw it too, once you pointed it out.

But worth noting that the syntax was exactly the same as for Britney, so I'd totally buy a copy-paste error.
