beta now live

www.daz3d.com now looks a lot like the previous beta site. Has the transition occurred? Some things looks only half active. I have no top sale carousel and forums look pretty weird right now.

    Yes, it has gone live, and the servers are syncing etc to get everything switched over. You may see a few weird things for a short while.

    Sale carousel is back now. When I click on SHOP, it goes to the Beta site.

    Yes, they are still getting everything switched live and sync'd. You will see improvements shortly. :)

    I love the "Hide owned products" option, but not seeing freebies is sad.

    Thanks, I'll hold further comments until things seem to have settled down. Congratulations on the site update. There are features there we love, like hiding items I already own.

    My cart is acting wonky and I don't feel comfortable checking out, but as I'm in the UK and its evening will it be 'switched live and sync'd' in the next hour or so. If not I hope todays offers will still be available tomorrow.

    How do I sign out and/or sign in? How can I see all the different sales and promotions (not just the ones in the scrolling banner) by specific sale (or example the PC Modern 99-cent sale)?

    Top right corner..

    The PC sales and promotions are all indexed over it the MO, so take a look there in the meantime :)

    Ok couple of things. All the links on the forum pages for me are left side justified in single column. Both the bottom and top. These would be the search and other links that usually line up along the bottom and top of a page.

    The Blue Digital Art Zone in the top menu bar looks to have incorrect placement code. I doubt one, it was meant to be covering the homepage and other icons to the left of Shop and for it to so large it is extending into the next horizontal area.

    Browser is whatever the latest Firefox is.

    Grrrrrrrrrrr... still getting referal link page when I updated my bookmarks. I click the bookmarked address and I get this:

    If issues like that are still happening after an hour or so, please feel free to use the Problem? link at the lower right-hand side.

    I'm sure they know about it, but it will get all the issues in one place.

    I'm curious about this; i glossed over this before, but now I'm trying to understand what you're doing... Do you have an affiliate link that you prefer to go through to get to the home page, or something?

    Or are you getting an affiliate link when you DON'T want one?

    I'm seeing all the standard pages working just fine with my affiliate links.

    Hi,

    I'm using the newest Firefox version with the Tab Mix Plus addon FYI.

    So when the new beta went live I kept getting a referral tab with the link that you see there. BUT when I got to the store the link changed to one that made more sense. So I copied that and updated my bookmarks and tested. Still got the referral link tab.

    Today, thinking it was fixed, I copied and updated the bookmarks again. Same issue. Referral link tab with link to another page.

    Kind of annoying but not sure what to do about it.

    Im kinda confused by the new check boxes:
    "Hide Items I Own" is pretty clear, however what is the "Only Show" check box filtering?

    You should see the PC+ logo next to it, that's what it does.. only shows you those :)

    Behind "only show" it should say PC+ in purple
    I think the PC+ is an image and the "only show" text, so it might be that the imagine hasn't loaded yet

    It says Only Show PC+. PC+ is in purple.

    Not really feeling the love for it in all honestly, I like the Hide Owned Items option mind but I'm really not loving the flat icons look, isn't helped by the fact that the text is stretched. I'll get used to it but the icons and stretched text? probably won't be able to shake the Windows 8 feel (not a fan of that to say the least).
