Yup, I figured as much. Sometimes it's showing me as logged in and other times I seem not to be but then if I go to my cart or "My Account" I'm magically logged back in again. So the auto logging seems to be a bit buggy from where I'm sitting!

Also, I'm noticing the system is still adding what we own and what we don't. I almost put the PC+ Cloak set for Genesis 2 into the cart and then thought "I think I have that...." sure enough, I do.
I've seen that when I'm not logged in, of course. Check the little man icon in the upper right. It should be blue and have a checkmark next to it if you're logged in. Does it show correctly if you do a hard refresh?

If you're coming from a session that the old site set, try logging out and back in to get a fully new-site session.

"Person" icons have indeed been used quite a lot in the past few years for functions like "account", "profile" or "personal data". Not everywhere, of course, and not everybody is familiar with them, but it is definitely considered as a standard option when designing a web site or app nowadays.

You shouldn't have had to reset your password.

I couldn't log in either at first, it kept telling me my password wasn't right. After some time it worked again, but I can see how people might have thought they needed to reset their pasword.

If Rbug's experience was anything like mine then the password reset was probably necessary because the browser's password manager could not autofill the fields in the new login part and it had to be manually entered. Again, if Rbug was like me, the password was forgotten (that is what password managers inside browsers are for) and so the password needed to be reset.

I use Chrome+ and have passwords in the "cloud" storage so that I can access them from any of my machines. It appears Chrome cannot manage the password in the new format. I have tried logging in and out several times but it won't fill in the fields. This means I will not be able to login to DAZ and shop and interact on the forums from any machine without remembering the password. A step backwards to me.

The site is obviously redesigned to be "responsive", that is usable on PC, Tablets and smart phones. I have never accessed the site from my tablet or phone and doubt I would shop that way, but maybe statistics show that the user base is moving that way. I doubt it though.

Ah, I missed the very early parts of the roll-out.

The not being friendly to password managers in browsers is something we will definitely look at to fix.

Nope, as mentioned in a previous post here I actually killed all the daz cookies and restarted the browser and still have all these issues like the referral link tab and the store not showing me completely logged on!

...never saw any mention of a store beta test and I've been on the forums daily. If this is now permanently "live" for everyone, then it is no longer a 'beta".

So that aside, when will the forums see the update that was mentioned about months ago?

From the "little man" icon, the link to My Gallery does not work. It sits and spins forever. Clicking on View Your Page does work.

It appears to be live and its also looks pretty bad.

They completely ignored any and possibly all of the recommendations made in the other thread. I was hoping they would leave the drop down menus from the Shop Forums and Help Tab and its gone.

Honestly, the site looks pretty horrible. Everything is so big and bright its hurting my eyes.

There is a bug in the gallery code for the store for managing your gallery that wasn't there during the beta. We're looking into it and working to fix it as I type this, hopefully it won't be down for too long.

I just did a checkout from the new site and one thing I miss is the 'Confirm Purchase' after entering payment information. Every once-in-awhile there may be a price change or loss of PC pricing during checkout and this extra step helped catch the error before committing to the purchase.

Also not all products that I own are being filtered out or showing up as 'purchased' For example I own Michael Pro, but Michael 4 Starter is showing like it wasn't ever purchased.

And I can't arrange my wishlist the way I want it. For example IU would try to group (list) all items from a particular sale together; but now there doesn't seem to be anyway to do that.

Okay, DAZ has done and did it to us while we weren't looking. My comments...

My previous DAZ bookmark was for the Store New Releases page. That does still seem to work.

I've said it in the other thread, I'll say it again here, and as many times as I need to until I get a reply; what does the "little man" icon mean when it's blue with a tick? We've been told it means "logged in", but I was definitely logged out, and I did definitely see the "blue man with tick", both before and after logging in.

Is he supposed to turn white(ish) when I mouseover?

Okay, logged in, my password saved in Firefox still autocompletes properly, so far so good.

And it's the Tonka Toy page. Why am I seeing my My Account page when I logged in from the store home page?

I've said it in the other thread, I'll say it again here, and as many times as I need to until I get a reply; my setting for the theme colour is not sticking — it's changed again from dark to light.

I've tried adding stuff to my cart. I think I might soon get extremely fed up with that pop-up.

Weird stuff; with two items in my cart, I tried moving something from my wishlist into my cart. I noticed the cart icon was plain white; I added the item and it changed to the cart with a blue (1). I went into the cart, and the number changed to a blue (3). It seems the code running the cart icon while displaying the wishlist page was unable to detect the items already in my cart.

I just tried it again, and it apparently worked properly. Was this a "first time operation" oddity?

More comments as I come across stuff behaving weirdly. I really hope the switchover wasn't premature.

There's a problem with my orders. The "Payment Method" section is completely blank, on the invoice, in "My Orders" (both old and new) and on the confirmation e-mail. I hope this is a temporary glitch.

...ahh, no wonder, never really go to that forum very much.

One other issue this causes is that it denies non-PC members the chance to input their suggestions so they just end up having to deal with the end result. This should have been presented in one of the General forums that are open to the entire community.

I was confused by a couple of things but playing around a bit cleared everything up for me.

    My verdict?

    I LIKE IT!

(any little glitches found--I personally didn't find any yet--will be fixed. on the whole I'm very pleased with the new site)

Yes, they are still getting everything switched live and sync'd. You will see improvements shortly. :)

I doubt calling dog leavings a improvement is accurate.

I got some weirdness with the man ticked thing too... see the image below. I have 24 items in my cart.... and yet even though I'm logged in the cart is showing as empty!

Loss of dropdown menus makes this site unusable. Guess I won't be shopping here until they come back. Everyone please do the same.

Edit: Wow, you can't choose any characters other than Gen2 and Genesis 1 anymore? My gosh this new layout sucks. How can anyone here actually LIKE this?!

If you're looking only at New Releases, there aren't any for V4 and M4. If you look at the whole store (or at a category that has V4 and M4 items) then those filters are available.

So I'm in the checkout but there are no payment options, only continue shopping and clear cart. Have been trying to figure out how to actually buy the items for the past 15 minutes :gulp:

Daz, wtf? Don't you want my money %-P

Strangely enough I came across the same issue, although I am not able to reproduce it after I cleared my cart. I'm not sure where it is getting stuck, but some part of the checkout process has decided that your cart is invalid. I am going to see if I can figure out a way to reproduce and fix this. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you can come up with a set of products or whatever that will cause this problem, please let me know. I figured it was a one time fluke while the site was settling down after the switchover, but if you can do it on a freshly created cart that means I have more searching to do.

Thankies muchly for getting back to me, Rawb :)

Considering my cart has 41 items, I have no wish to clear it and start over :blank: I understand glitches will be glitches but needless to say I am not a happy camper :shut:

Considering it's been a little more than an hour since I got up with the intent to complete my shopping, found the new site, liked it for the most part, doubled the items I had in my cart (the .99 link on the carousel in the home page was directly responsible for that ;-) ) but am still unable to check out, I'll need to give the purchase a serious rethink :-S I get that these things happen but from where I'm sitting (and it may be just me :-P ) it ain't fun to say the least

Looking at it, it is something specific to your cart. I recreated your cart in my own with all the items and get the payment options, so it isn't the item combination. I'm, right now, cloning your account data to a private dev instance where I can login as you and see why it doesn't want to treat it as a valid cart. Hopefully this will shed light on what the problem is soon, and it probably is some obscure database entry about your cart that is just flagged wrong from the old store that is pissing it off.
