We'll query, but there is no indication that I can see it would be every non-new item.
It pops up in the ads every once and again. There is also 20% off $50 or more, but it doesn't seem to work with much GET-IT
Bunch of Related Artist stuff has no discount
It is selected products not the whole catalogue, while it looks like a lot of undiscounted items if you turn off thea rtist filters all the ones I've tried are in fact mostly discounted. It's likely that many of the exceptions are, or were when the sale was set up, part of another offer.
They are all listed under Massive Artist Sale. They're not sale priced. This is a mistake. The items need to be either removed or discounted.

Also the top of the sale page states 50% off Massive Select of Featured Artists Store but the section for the Featured Artists states 40% for specific Featured Artists with another section below with a huge list. Are both sections "Featured"? And are they all supposed to be 50% or 40%? There doesn't seem to be a buy-in for an extra 10%.
edit: nevermind, apparently I just missed out on some good prices on DO original characters yesterday to stack the discount.
So newbie question about DAZ sales, judging from how this Memorial Sale has been run: does it never pay to purchase early since the sale seems to just get better (now with 15% gift card) as it progresses?
I'm fairly new as well, but from my experience it depends on what you're hoping to get. A lot of the time things will get get better over a sale weekend, but today I was counting on a pro bundle I've had my eye on being 65% off and stacking, but today it's only 30% off. Generally I'd say take a chance on waiting though. However, when it comes to daily sales I always wait until the evening to make any purchases in case there's a flash sale.
Sometimes? I tend to make purchases in the afternoon, in case a flash sale comes along. Most of the time it doesn't make a difference, but you never know. Generally, if it's an item you really want, and can get 60% or more off, it's a pretty good deal, but sometimes you can do better. During the big sales, there's generally a catch-up sale on the weekend, but there are also special sale events during the week that only last a few hours. It just depends on how closely you are willing and able to keep tabs on the store.
I get email notifications of sales with the Daz Deals browser extension, so it's easy ot keep an eye on that.
Thank you AntigOne and Sevrin for your insights; good info for newbies for future sales! From a long term revenue management and customer faith point of view, it's just not ideal to run a major sale on one day and then to overrun that with an even bigger sale the very next day especially if the same products are being offered at a bigger discount compared to just 24h before. The sales simply have to stop before my wallet gets sick hahaha but that's an entirely different subject :P
It is odd that the Featured Artists get 40% discount with no boost from new items (which they do 90% of the time), but literally everything else in the store (except new, PC+, etc.) starts with 50% off, and many get much more with a new purchase.

The link for RiverSoft Art's store is included in the 50% discount sale.

I don't know if that was intended, however nowhere on the sale page does it say that all items from the featured artists are on sale, so it might be.
I know that, but this is the specific filtered link Daz gave on the sale page. The URL contains the sale name. One could assume that Daz has created a page for just the items in this sale, and then are filtering that selection by vendor. That's what the URL implies to me. I did not choose some link from some other area of the web site to display the vendor's entire store.
If Daz's specific sale link does not show the correct items, how are customers supposed to know what items are in the sale? Daz sales are so often screwed up initially, one cannot assume that what you see is what you are SUPPOSED to get. That's why this thread is so full of customer questions and admin inquiries to Daz.
I think the question is simply this: Is the Daz sale link displaying the wrong items, or are the prices on the displayed items incorrect? It seems like a straightforward question. Cris inquired over 12 hours ago, but I don't see any answer provided by Daz. It is Sunday, so maybe it will never be resolved.

The banner says: "50% OFF Massive Selection of Featured Artist Stores" It doesn't say 50% off FROM a massive selection of featured Artist Stores, which would mean 50% discount on some of the items in a massive selection of featured artist stores; it says 50% off massive selection OF featured artist stores, which means a massive selection of featured artist stores are 50% off. And you know what - I don't care. I've been in the house for 8 weeks because I had contact with 2 people with the virus. I don't care if it's on sale or not. I don't care.
Hi there, something seems to be broken, a bunch of items are reduced 70% on my wishlist but only about 50% in the cart. If this could be fixed I‘d love to buy!
They are supposed to be 50%. There was a display issue now fixed.

No, it was incorrect. There was no 70% sale, just a display issue.
Ah I guess u guys fixed the prices while some of us were checking out. I even still have screens open with the old pricing. Ok, well stuff happens. Gonna clear my cart and head off to bed then. Happy weekend to all!

I am done with this. Cleared my cart and heading out. It just feels like we are jerked around and made to loose time.
