All of today's new releases are strangely discounted. Some are 1% off, some 13% off, some 26% off, some 33% off, despite being DOs that should be 51% off.
It's a $2.79 sale as from $3.99 it takes of additional 30% off :) (“$3.99” New Releases - 30% OFF)
ps: You can't use your 05-20PlatClub on 3 of them, even if they are DO items.
Interestingly enough is that if one only put 1 or 2 items in the cart, you still don't get the 30% off... you Need to have atleast 3 to get the proper discount as a PC+ member, which is quite bad in my opinion.
I know that I could buy 3 products and get a really good price for them, as well as save a lot on them. It's still odd that one is Forced to buy 3 products to get the de facto 30% off that we PC+ members are regulary paying for (wether monthly, quarterly or yearly). That seems quite strange frankly speaking.
The two items I tested stayed at 25% off, which makes even worse as on the sale page they claim to be 26% off :/
This phrasing is terribly misleading: "Buy 3 or more “$3.99” New Releases to get them for only $3.99*" as it implies, that we would get three New Releases for a total of $ 3.99
Right, and it doesn't help that "Buy any “$3.99” New Release to get 10% OFF* a Gift Card!" is located directly above that, which implies that each item would cost $3.99 as is. The entire sales phrasing is outright pitiful.
Which, at least to my non-native english speaking mind, isn't a new problem with DAZ sales advertisement ^^

Everything in this sale is misleading. And PC+ coupon do not work. What is the point of having rules as to when a code is valid only to rig the sales so we cannot use it? We are having constant regular sales that require coupon(for stuff thta should not need it) and now two weeks in a row fixed value sales that magically void any coupon use.
I don't know but today I receieved a purple banner and a message in my "exclusive offers" with a coupon code for a discount off my order today. Maybe that coupon. Don't know if the coupon scaled with how much one spent yesterday. (I spent too much).
Oh, and it applied to the gift card I bought today. (which means I spent too much today,, too).
I finally see what they did. Instead of applying discounts, they are fixing all prices to 14.9; so discount is calculated after to match that number. Same as they do with PC+ items.
They must be doing this so they can easy fix the 3.99 on all items. While this will probably be fixed once this sale is over, i find the whole matter really unfair.
No coupon for me
and I spent nearly $500.00 yesterday. On the other hand it was all in store credit so maybe that didn't count. Grrr !!!
And I sure could use a coupon to get an additional discount on a gift card to replace all I spent yesterday. Oh well I guess I'll save my money for another day.
I received the coupon code, it noted that I had 'remembered Memorial Day' and had purchased a new item. I also used store credit. I only purchased three items, so it wasn't the total price I paid, but might have been if I bought a new item? I acutally bought one new from Memorial Day and another new from a day or two prior, and an older item that was required for the Urban Warfare Poses.
And here i was, thinking that spending almost $120 on sunday, only two weeks after a similar purchase was too much.
Also, no banner for me either.
DAZ must be getting very picky. I bought several new releases altough none were from the items released on Memorial Day.
Hey, DAZ -- How about a coupon for those of us who remembered Memorial Day by buying a lot of stuff in the sale but didn't happen to want one of the new items from the very limited selectiion of stuff that was released on that day. Or maybe even better how about a coupon for those of us who are veterans.
Vendors JWolf and Aquarius are listed in the 60% flash sale graphic, but their items aren't in the sale page - they don't appear when I search in the artist drop down

I bought 43 items from the Memorial Sale and got nada.

I bought over 60 items in the Memorial Day Sale as well as some new items just not one that was released on Memorial Day and also no coupon.
Wasn't it a requirement to purchase one new release to take advantage of the Memorial sale? I certainly did purchase one of the prerequisites but didn't take note if it was a new release or not.
We might never know what their filter criteria was to send out a coupon... could be based on gross expenditure, could be based on total % off, profit value, lifetime spend, whether coupons were used, randomly or they could also be testing the elasticity impact of coupons and we jolly well could be in the (unfortunate) control group that receive nothing... ultimately, they are the DAZ Gods dishing out special "blessings" so I guess they can choose on whom and however they wish to bestow their blessings. May it just rain on us one day :)
Edited to add: I just checked, yes I did purchase a Memorial New Release product.
Anyone know why the discounts on the new releases are so poor - as a PC member I'm suppose to get at least 30% of DOs and 50% off new releases are we loosing that PC perk cause I'd like a refund on my membership is thats the case.

Instead of applying discounts, for today's sale they fixed the prices. If you play their game and add 3 items to the cart, you will get the 30% additional discount. But you cannot benefit from any coupon either. If we want only one of the items, then we won't get the new item or PC+ discount, pay the fixed price or wait until the sale is over hoping discounts will be back to normal.
Considering how many hours has been since several people reported and we get ignored, i would say it is working as inteded. We are "limited" PC+ today.
Another loss to PC membership, I may well take this up with customer service, PC membeship is advertised as having 30% off new releases so thats what we should get, if not then there should be a a clause in the advert that states - except during some sales.
Well if they had a coupon for veterans of military service, how would they know? I don't think it is in my profile that I am a Retired USAF Master Sergeant. And the most appropriate day for that coupon would be on 11 November, Veterans Day. I ticked off a group of civilian coworkers after my retirement, who wanted to get my details, so they could add them to their Memorial Day 'Kick Off The Summer Party Season' banner. They did not enjoy the lecture I gave them on the history of Veterans Day and what it means to the US Military and the Gold Star Families.
But how or why I got a coupon today, no clue. Will I use it, maybe. Not sure. But I doubt I will be using it for the guy's outfit, it is another 'unknown' PA buried in the files DazOriginal. I have been burned by Dain.

If you buy three things from today you get them for $3.99 each PLUS the extra 30% so it adds up to $2.79 each. A great deal!
The advertised 10% off on a gift card offer doesn't seem to be working in conjunction with other promotions. I have a cart built on the Michael sale and those discounts apply just fine, but adding three or more of today's new releases doesn't change the discount at all. Is this happening for anyone else?
I've stated for quite some time now that I thought the advertising staff at DAZ must use English as a second languge, given how often they print things that don't say what they think they say. These days I've changed my mind and suspect that they don't speak English at all and are using Google Translate.
