Geez. You guys are both prolific and talented! The images posted in here just keep getting better and better.
I've not done much this month, due to RL drama, (still trying to find an electrician, but the loan on the house finally went through!) Here is my latest, and only real image for February.
Hospitality
(This was for Llola Lane's 2020 Monthly Render Challenge; February: Hot & Cold. I entered it in the PFDLIves Edition.)
ncie well done
Thank you, @emotionaldreams2.
So many amazing renders here. This is the most recent render I've done. I did some simple post work adjustments for color and lighting.
Beautiful pose and excellent lighting.
Cheers,
Alex.
Thank you Alex.
Really great animation @mechengineer97 . It looks quite real.
,
Good start to something big
Thanks, but I kinda of cheated. Only the car and white fence are props with Daz adding the ground shadow. Everything else is a 4k image. Lighting is from an HDRI image I found on HDRI Haven website.
Another old set, The Study. Again I ran the Iray Uber shader on it and then tweaked some of the surfaces. The only light was the small table lamp so I added a Point light near the ceiling.

Then I remembered I had used it before but using one of the expansion packs.

That not cheating to me
, that is just one of the tricks on how you reduce your scene values to save resources when creating animations.
you should see some of the ways i create back drops for my iray animations with pre rendered images used as flat panes i even made afree resouce kit for this reason
http://www.sharecg.com/v/92902/gallery/21/DAZ-Studio/Ivys-Magic-Pane-prop
but its just 1 of the many ways to reduces resouces for iray animation :)

This is something i did when converting old v4 content over to Iray.(Still) The fairy gown & dragonfly hair I made dforce . I added a velvet txt to the panther to give it a heavy coat. I think Victoria 4 is still looking pretty good ,still some life in the old gal anyway.
Stunning work!
really nice! Mind if I ask what character/skin you used?
Winter time
Immediately thought of Blue Lagoon, very cozy.
Did this one up yesterday, figure I would post it.. I am NOT a fan of heavy postwork. I tried a few effects and brushes in photoshop, even DOF in the render settings, but I like this version the best.
Excellent render Michael.
Thanks Ivy!
Very nice work
Very nice.
I use Daz as a previz for my photography and this is a simple setup I plan on using soon. I'm lighting in the short light style with a strip box behind the subject and to camera left. Just out of frame to camera right is a white reflector for fill.
I rendered using light expressions, though I could just as easily used an emission canvas as I ended up ditching my indirect LPE. Post-production was some simple toning and exposure corrections with noise added and a custom LUT at 5% to lift the shadows.
That's nice. Sort of reminds me when I was a kid being drive to Montreal south from New York state. It was like the Emerald City from the Wizard of Oz was rising on the horizon line. It was very neat.
Thanks :)
Thank you @Fishtales
@nonesuch00
That was exactly the type of theme i was aiming for. I was shooting for a image in my mind of something from my past when i was living in Syracuse working for Victoria secrets, it was like back in the late 80's. Thank you for the nice comment, you were right on target :)
Thank you Michael. She is mostly Phoebe with just a few morph tweaks. She's one of my favorite characters.
Your newest image here looks great btw.
