midday sounds eminently reasonable ... but that either doesn't work for some logistics/staff reason, or it's beyond DAZ, (which seems to think that when something doesn't work, do it again and again and again -- the very definition of insanity) ... but hey, DAZ is reasonable about it's prices, especially if you are willing to wait until they drop to rock bottom. It is what it is ... not perfect, but people like Richard and Chris keep all the CS moving parts and the spinning plates from all crashing .... for which I am grateful. The 6 hours plus today to fix stuff does, however, seem excessive ... I recommend just moving on with life until things are sorted (which may be a good strategy, because judging by a long past trend, these problems will not (repeat: not) go away .... DAZ is synonymous with sales that just don't go down the way they should).
That doesn't work because that's the time where quite a lot of US customers are shopping.
That happened in the middle of the night, on a weekend. Having to wait until people who could fix it were awake is not that surprising....
Seriously, we are on our own every weekend. Our problems will be attended on Monday! We are screwed for the meantime

price in the cart bugged:
ok i was looking at some products when i saw that product:
in his page he is saying which he is at 66%(because i have the extra 30% from platinum) but when i add the stuff to my cart instead of the price fall even more due to the "extra" 30 from the holiday discount the price goes opposite and "rise"
it was supposed to go down and not up any chance to fixe that?
That's very odd. On my page, it shows it's 41% off to start with; price 23.97. When it goes to 50% with a new debut and then 30% discount added, it goes to 13.98.
Lyoness was on sale yesterday for 66% off. Today it's back to 40%.
The 'Buy any New Release over $1 get as much as you want for $2.99 each plus 20% OFF* them' does again not work for me today. (the '5-for-2.99' part does work though)
Now I wonder.. it DID work yesterday and I bought an item or two under that condition. I wonder if the '* Usable once per customer....' part of the condition somehow lingers on for me. I know it's supposed to reset daily, but maybe it didn't/doesn't under certain circumstances? Maybe depending on at what exact time I bought the stuff?

Ok, so tonight, I got four items for 2.99. I can't tell you if I've bought before, I don't remember, but to test, I put another 2.99er in the cart which would have made five overall since I had purchased four. It stayed at 2.99. I added another for a sixth item and it stayed at 2.99 which, to me, means per cart. I added a new item and got an additional discount.
I wonder if those who are having problems with this have the problem caused by a cache not emptying properly on their browser.
I wonder how much it would help them if they emptied cache, cleared cookies and history and then rebooted the computer to makes sure the cache was completely clear.
Could be worth a try, I can't check as I have my computer set to clear cache every time I close down, and I close down every night
Got one new release, five 2.99 items and three free items - but no discount on the 2.99 items, just the standard price
always buy the free items as a separate purchase. that way they cannot interfere with other calculations. It isn't always the problem, but often enough it IS.

Can't even open my cart. I keep getting magento errors. I couldn't even log in on my phone but I'm already logged in here. Can't add anything to my cart or check out.
Maybe restart of the servers - to clear all errors... hope so
