All you have to do is turn surface opacity off on them in the surfaces tab, if they're like any of the other 5000000000000 hair styles with hair decorations in the store.
Personally I don’t think Daz should label characters as a certain ethnicity or give banner rewards for buying characters of a certain ethnicity like they did with the “Thank you for buying Eastern characters.”
But I’m still hoping to see more renders here of the bundle to decide if I’ll pull the trigger...
Well I'm glad Daz gave a banner reward for Gabriela because I picked up the Mousso/Linday bundle with it
If I were shown these images, which were done by the divine Divamakeup "out the box," and asked to guess ethnic derivation, my first guess would be Mexican/South American, though she could pass for others.
I'm looking forward to getting her.
I continue to enjoy working with Gabriela. A few days ago, I mixed some of EmmaAndJordi's Ethnic Beauties just a little bit. This render doesn't show her off fully, but I think it shows her as a woman, with something for the viewer to discover.

One more, out of the bundle. This is DemonicaEvilius and Jessaii - Isabelle. I usually like their work - nice skin that needs minimal work on my part to look good, and attractive morphs to go with that. Renders quickly, also. It's uncomplicated in a good way. This skin is straight out of the box, under the lighting that loads when I load up a new scene. I appreciate that kind of fidelity as a customer.
I did throw in a couple morphing changes here - a little "youth" out of Zev0's Growing Up, shrinking the neck, emphasizing the head size a little more. Otherwise, this lady is immediately recognizable from the character she came out of.
The Flamenco dress? It's not the Daz store version. I saw this one at Rendo and I liked it better. dForce for G3F and G8F, some undress morphs (giggity), and handles on the sides of the dress (optional, depending on what you load in).
Kitbashed a bit with the jewelry. Earings, left and right bracelets - all from 3 different sets.
I used Nesena Hair out of the Kala 8 bundle because I liked it more than the hair in Gabriela's package.
Otherwise, I just wanted to show off the dress. I don't mind a little genre look if the dress is sexy and has nice morphs behind it. This is most definitely a hot setup.
EDIT: Forum doesn't like my images. I had to upload to my gallery instead.
Image?
Got the image up... the background is just a lame 2D image that I slapped on there. I just wanted to render the figure and the dress, and I wasn't looking for composition or anything this time.
HAHAH That made me giggle!
Thank you for making my day!
I have a new purple banner... 20% off, as long as Gabriela 8 pro bundle is in my cart. And, of course, can't use it to buy something I already own... Like, the Gabriela 8 pro bundle, for instance. :)
Everybody makes little mistakes sometimes... I like it when they're good for a chuckle. :)
I wish you could pass it to me! Any guess when the last day of the Gabriela promotion will be? I will have the funds for her on Tuesday....
Can I hire you? LOL
No earlier than Wednesday, I'd imagine.
A new figure is unlikely on a Tuesday.
These days. But it varies.
I love Gabi, but I really wish there were a good base model that showed the Aztec features of many Mexican People. They are lovely and unique.
I would like indigenous models at some point, yeah.
Like with so many other things, life is so subjective. "Most famous"...maybe not. Check this out.

Come to think of it, this one would make a pretty good on-topic render. She's 'Kinda Not So Bad' either.

Well, flamenco is quite extensive and complex. But if you ask in Spain about famous flamenco artists, people are very likely to think of artists like these:

or

And if you want to get out of the conventional and continue being flamenco then you have things like this (with surprise):

For those that received the purple banner, but haven't pulled the trigger on the pro bundle yet, today might be an interesting day to do so... dressing to the nines!
Would have loved to see this in the official Daz promo. Funny & Cute and clearly shows the contrast. This is kind of image that makes me see the potential and excited to buy a product. Nice one Diva.
That's how I feel about a lot of promo images: they're so focused on sheer aesthetics that they don't actually tell you very much about the actual product.
I just bought cartoonized with the one coupon Daz gave us the other day and wanted to see how it worked so I gave it a whirl on Gabriela. I think she looks great cartoonized!
@benniewoodell
I love the complete picture but especially your lighting. It highlights so many interesting areas! Makes my heart smile.

Probably because in LA there are a lot of mexicanos and centro americanos with high percentage of indigena. A different thing if you go to Argentina, Chile, Uruguay. Italian and Spaniard features are strong in Argentina.
Mexico-Centro América, Brazil,El Caribe, La Región Andina, and Austral are very different in the composition of african/european/indigenas and mix of these, and all are latin(american)os.
Excited to be able to pick up the pro bundle last night thanks the the pc+ members sale. It was about $32+ a few new items that came out this week, so I think I got a better deal than when she fist released.
Here's a quick out of the box picture.
