I told myself I wasn't going to buy the next pro bundle unless it was a male...but I may have to get her because she's Latin American. That's something I'm lacking in my gene pool
On another note, the purple banner seems to work on gift cards
I think she’s merely ok. Not that much different than existing product line. This sculpt is generic and the skin of the base is fair. Could be any race. Nothing I specially see as baseworthy. Plus we are way overdue for another male.
I have issues loading Sofia and opened a ticked. Installed/uninstalled her a couple of times using Connect. Log file says something about a syntax error.
I haven't seen a purple banner in a while, and she doesn't fill a niche for me, so I'll be passing.
What triggers purple banners, anyway? I used to see them all the time.

The purple banners are a loyalty reward for having bought Pro Bundles in the recent past; I used to get the banners but not having bought any of the pro bundles released after Sanjay 8 has finally made them go away.
Hoping we get a male counterpart, an Antonio Bandaras type figure.
A "Diego 8" character has been spotted in supported shapes for some G8M clothes, we suspect he will be Gabriela's counterpart.
i think I'm getting dazd out. she doesn't give me that "I have to have her" feeling at all.
That feeling is getting pretty rare for me actually.
Not sure if it's a shape I can use. The face morph is lovely but the skin tones on a good many of the skin offerings look like white girls, even the base skin. I live in a building that's predominantly Latin and these skins all look "off" or too white to my eyes. There are a couple that are good like Leticia, Maia and Gale. There is also Micaela but she looks more like a light skinned black woman to me.... I guess it's all subjective.... If your not hanging around the Latin community on an everyday basis and all you have are the pretty made up chicas that are trying to look like white chicks you find on line as examples you don't get what the skin tones actually look like in real life settings!
Got a Monique 8 Pro Bundle on 23 Jul, 2019 and no purple banner for me so what exactly that banner says?
It doesn't specify what the exact criteria are but you probably have to have a number of them. It just says:
I usually got the banner and now that I bought more Pro Bundles I should get it more offen.... The banner is probably rigged to buying new Pro bundle and old Pro bundles only count in what kind of banner you get.
i haven't bought many gen 8 pro bundles but I got the 20% off banner ... well, i have 11, with Mr. Woo being the last one
Well, they've added the outfit to the page, but it doesn't have the discount for being a new item and clicking on it leads to a 404 Not Found page
I am hesitant to be negative when it comes to an artist's work, but Gabriela's skin is so generic and lifeless compared to more recent characters! The teeth lool like chiclets. This core character is not up to Daz standards, sorry.

It may be based on specific recent pro bundles, not just the number of bundles you own.

I picked her up quickly. The stereotypical hair and dresses actually will work well for when my daughter and I are doing renders. She's half-Latina since her mother if from Venezuela and she loves the traditional long dresses, flowers in the hair, etc. I can see us doing a few renders using these characters.
As for her ethnicity, she actually looks very similar to women I saw in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Many Argentinas tend to have more European features and lighter skin that other countries in Latin America where the indigenous populations have more of a genetic influence. And I have plenty of darker G8F skins if needed.
I really like her body style too with the trim, fit look of a dancer.
Here's a comparrison between Monique 8, Gabriela 8, and Victoria 8. Gabriela's scale default loads at 90%, but I dialed her up to 100%.

As I have mr Woo too and someone else says that's her/his last pro bundle and I have bought recently other pro bundle too (not newest one, but still pro bundles) It feels that the banner is a bit "too" random.
Well no a problem, I'll wait for the bigger sales in a few months and pass on Gabriela.
I really like this bundle a lot and had to have a little fun before I went to sleep so I did a render of Micaela. Bear with me but I'm just starting to learn Photoshop, so I have one render that's pretty much a straight one that I rendered in Daz, and then I have one where I've been playing around to see what layering can do and whatnot. I think the one that's more stylized fits better with what I was going for which is those like late summer nights that go on forever, where you can drift off and dream until the sun crosses the horizon, or you're just debating if you really want that Blizzard from Dairy Queen. Both are wins in my book for memories of yesteryear. Hope to see some great renders from this bundle in this thread!

Items which are not active in the store (which seems to be the case here) usually appear as free in wishlists and pages. That can also be the case for items just released before the rules to compute the price were processed.

Glad you liked my render, i have made it with default Gabriela 8 materials and settings " out of the box".
I have only played with the lights to enhance the details of the skin and mitchell filter ( Iray setting) to enhance the sharpness.

Honestly she looks like an average white girl (no offense to anyone) Her general facial apprearance and body are nothing I don't already have. Clothes are not grabbling me. Only thing that intetestes me is the salsa hair, but I looked at it and not sure what's going on with the transmaps both sides of the bun. Looks odd to me.
Also, I'm getting a FREE purchase price for the 'dforce pretty stylish outfit' but when I click on it, it takes me to an 'OOPS' page. If it's advertised as free, then we should get it for free. I'm gonna file a ticket with my image.
I suspect that it was never intended to be free. It was supposed to be released last night, and wasn't on the page. Someone let them know and they added it, but other than the thumbnail it doesn't seem to have taken. (i.e., the whole thing is an Oops.)
Nonetheless, I submitted a ticket with a screenshot of it listed as free. I also sent them a screenshot of the odd trans on the salsa hair.
I'm sure it isn't supposed to be free, but the fact that the thumb didn't take is their problem. I also don't have any info that it was supposed to be released last night, etc. I don't have any insider infor regarding those types of things. I'll wait and see.
