Latina figure... Sold! Easy buy for me.
Banner or no... I certainly got the banner. I think I can count the number of Genesis 8 pro bundles that I don't have on one hand. It's pretty much a measure of your addiction level. Big time addicts get the juicy banner.
Even if you don't get the 20%, the last couple banners didn't give us extra percentage off. It's not an every figure occurrence. For a number of the recent Pro bundles, we didn't get 20% off... We got $70 in free Daz Originals instead of $40, so whether or not you feel "cheated" is up to you.
Extra off is nice, but I've bought plenty with no extra percentage either.
The only way to get on the "gravy train" of coupons is to buy more, so if you don't buy, you are saving money that way. For a deal, you can wait for the inevitable Fast Grab or other big discounted events, which is cool too. Plenty of ways to engage the Daz sale machine.
Like I said, Latina is an easy buy decision. It was more a question of how fast they could get the page working so I could buy it soon after midnight (Daz time).

Not sure this is quite what you wanted, but Gabriela 8 HD was the first render I just finished after over an hour cooking. She appears a little older than I expected, but lovely.

A couple of "out of the box" renders of Gabriela 8, with different lighting and hair.
I messed up on the expression with the sitting render. I was aiming for "sultry" but with the lighting and angle it ended up looking a bit like RBF. lol
@Divamakeup, as always, you have great renders! She looks very strong and assured, and sexy. Not sure what 'RBF' stands for, but she looks like she has PLANS.

I love your render - very pretty! The dress, jewellery, and environment all go so well together! The face texture looks a bit darker than the rest of her skin though, did you perhaps adjust the skin translucency and then apply makeup after? I think applying the makeup can reset the face texture to it's "out of the box" translucency setting.
You know Diva, I think I selected the makeup, which I 'think' was either Face w/brows 04 or 05. Then I went to Settings and selected 'Low'. But writing that, I could be wrong. I brought the render up in PaintShop Pro and it really does look like she has too dark foundation on her. (One reason I hate foundation myself.) Not sure if moving the lights would shift that or not.
When I was setting up the render for Gabriela 8, I looked at each makeup, then tried another character's makeup on her, which fully changed her skin, so I went back to her base skin mat, and didn't select any makeup for her.

It was https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-fiesta-outfit-for-genesis-8-females and I took the Sash's Cutout Opacity to 0. The texture is from the texture set.
I was lucky I had a jewerly set that matched up to the colors so wonderfully.

That's the dForce Fiesta Outfit (in the Pro bundle) with the dForce Fiesta Outfit Textures (not in a bundle).
It looks as if, even though the dForce pretty stylish outfit now has a price, it's not triggering the price reduction like other add ons. Is this happening to anyone else, or am I the only special one?
The 8s are all gorgeous, the only two I don't find beautiful are Victoria and Stephanie. Which is odd to me. Ha ha

Gabriela looks great, could totally see her wandering around Madrid or some other Spanish locale. I think she, Kala and Alexandra might be the 3 most compelling models DAZ has put out to date. I've stayed away from the 8 series because 3 is doing what I need, and I never use characters out of the box (I get them mostly to use their skin/shaders and HD details on custom dial tweak shapes) but those 3 have really tempted me to make the jump.
This is going to be one of those gotta have buys for me.. love her. As far as whether she is latina enough.. she is.. I live in Texas and this is accurate. Our first lady is latina..pic of Cecilia Abbott below
"Latina" can be such a broad category. Doesn't have to mean Mestiza or anything, especially in the Americas.
It's probably best that the base model feels a little more classically "Iberian", in that regard.
Those Spaniards sure got around :-D Not to mention al-Andalus, the Moorish period and the Reconquista. Gabriela is definitely a base model with a global reach.
I live in mexico, when i hear about latina girl i think on Martha Higareda, Dulce María or Shakira, because they are (even when they are celebrities) pretty similar to the girls i see here.
Yes, Gabriela have some similarities, but i don't instantly see "Latina" on her. Actually, i was thinking she was spanish.
She's pretty, anyway. Specially Sofia, a better match for me.
I loaded Gabriella into my scene and rendered her out, very bueatiful. I was suprised though because its been my experience that default skins on Daz figures do not have pubic hair as the default load. Well there it is on the default skin, not complaining just wondering if it got by without notice? Myby some figures have loaded that way and I just didnt notice.
