And there she is. Latin American is definitely an ethnicity that I can use. :)
Good bundle overall. Kind of sterotyping with both hair items having the flowers in the hair look, but the rest of the products are all real-world usuable items. The purple bar offer is just a straight extra 20%, so it maakes sense to stack with another sale and get maximum discounting.
Really like her look, and there have been too few Latin characters so far - wishlisted due to lack of fundage ;)
Yup. I got the 20% addict's banner, which is nice after getting the $70 freebie banner the past couple times. I think that got the Pro bundle down to $37 (assuming you get the addict's banner coupon plus the 4 item discount).
A good looking character. Glad the Flamenco and Fiesta outfits are split out so that people who want really "ethnic" can choose that for their bundle buy.
There are some pretty characters with this one, but QX Gale is the one that I definitely needed in the cart.
Overall, she's rather more the Criollo/Spaniard look, not so much Mestizo and definitely not Indio. We'll see how she renders, though.
I don't think we've had a flaminco outfit since V3 (I take that back, there was an Optitex one).
Pity about the hairs in the bundle, and the outfits aren't exciting to me either, but HinkyPunk's girl's face (Micaela) jumps off the page; she has personality (or I need to know what expressions she used). Gabriela 8 looks inspired by Alice Braga to me. I'm glad Daz decided to give an official nod to Latinas, though to my eye Tasha 8, Gia 8, Charlotte 8, Stephanie 8, & Teen Kaylee 8 can all pass for chicas. If only they'd update Gabriela 8 with ElianeCK's material settings she used in this promo:

I've just had a quick glance at the pro bundle and the offers available. Overall, a nice looking figure and a nice variety in the pro bundle. On top of that, there seems to be an unusually large number of add-on items available, and the 20% voucher is a nice change from the previous pro bundle sales of late. There also seem to be a lot more up to date items included in the $40 offer.
Overall, this feels much more like the new figure launch events that Daz used to do - lots of items and some very good deals. Pro bundle is in my cart now, so time to go and look at everything else.
That's true, but I'm still thinking about what flamenco has to do with Latin America. Flamenco is the music and dance of an ethnic minority in southern Spain... But (false) stereotypes probably live forever, and the costume looks nice. Apart from that I like Gabriela 8!
Damn, the voucher might come in handy, but the Pro Bundle is so lackluster that can't find a single reason to buy it :/
Gabriela looks kind of nice though. Could probably use her. Though I don't really see what makes her a latina as opposed to, say, Gia 8, but their heart seems to be in the right place.
Also good to see DAZ still get some use out of that one pack of white character materials they got.

I see a lot of Ophelia 7 in her, at least when it comes to her face, her body is much more slender.
Flamenco is popular in our dance schools, as arabics dances (La Macarena was inspired in a latinoamerican flamenco dancer). Apart of this, it is not related with latinoamerica as point of origin or ethnic. If somebody want to think about Gabriela as latinoamerican, it is ok, she can to be an euro descendant born in other continent, we have a lot of these, since obviously XV century and since WW2, the last can be lawfully spaniards an latinoamerican at same time.
I like her very much, she looks traditionally Iberian which is very nice to see as we get so many 'generic characters' than one really can't place do a specific geography. However, given that I apparently have waited too long to buy another pro bundle and so wasn't given a purple banner AND the value of the freebies for buying a pro bundle + X number of add-ons keeps decreasing and is so clearly showing DAZ 3D must be selling way more product then ever before and so don't need to resort to steep discounting to move product then I'll be skipping buying this pro bundle as well. I need Floyd 8 & Mabel 8 way more than another young beauty so that's what I'll be looking to save for come hopefully a sale in December.
It's just as well, I need DAZ Studio to do more and do it easier than I need yet more products anyway.

No, Flamenco is popular dance in the Americas for a long time. It's even in this music video, although stylized for modern times.
So, is it an add on outfit, or should it have been listed under the pro-bundle? It’s kind of in the middle of the other pro-Bundle item textures. If it’s part of the bundle, I’ll get the textures. If not, I won’t bother. Only time will tell now.

PS. What is she, the 3rd or 4th female in a row? I’ve been protesting females, but I always support realistic ethnic figures of any kind to let it known that I wish we had more.
She definitely does look Iberian to me and it’s nice to see the ethnicity in a character release but the pro bundle is just not that interesting. I will have to think on this one.
i did get the purple banner and there are a couple of items that I could snap up with that $40 of free content though.
i was so hoping for a male character .We have gotten more nice male characters in the latest generation but still vastly outnumbered by female characters.
+1+1. She is Ophelia without muscles definition. And younger, maybe.
Gabriela is a perfect generic model. She can be Spaniard, French, Italian,...etc. She has perfect caucasian look. Of course She can be Hispanoamerican, since they are caucasian descendents. If you want a more "mestizo" or a "mulato" look, you have to dial her. Es una figura preciosa. I think she will be the main base character for a lot of artists.

Since there are already 4 outfits in the bundle I'd say it's an add-on.
GiGi_7 and nonesuch00, Flamenco and Arabic Dance are popular in Germany, too - but what would you say if I called them typical German dances?
We'll probably get Diego next, as I suspect he's Gabriela's counterpart

Can someone please show how what Isabella and Sofia look like with the Gabriela base dialled to zero? I'd get the bundle, but without the banner it is a bit much for me, so I'm thinking about using one of these two without the base.
Base character is good, but all I like from the bundles is the Isadora hair, fiesta dress (looks like it would work well in fantasy settings), and Micaela. The characters outside the bundles are awesome (I particularly like Maia, Sofia, and Skylar) but there's no stacking discount for picking up multiple addons+the base character, the way there has been in the past, so basically I just wishlisted a bunch of stuff and went to look at the PA sales.
