No, there is a spearate button for the 50% off items.
It's a mistake that was reported within half an hour of Daz Midnight. I'm surprised to see Daz hasn't removed it yet. Not only is it a PA item, it was only released last month and won't qualify for any discounts before April 6.
its too bad all this product in the cart needs to happen just to get some sort of discount, that may or may not work.

Yep -once I've eaten this evening I'm going to work out what I bought since Bridget, as I'm probably going to return nearly everything , and I'm not settling for store credit.

You're talking about the Unique for Today 50% off with Newly Mad purchase, right? Just tested it, and it dropped a $3.99 PC+ item to $1.79. 50%, plus the 10% for the Key item. Ruby HD was the new release.
Got my refund on everything I purchased with Bridget 8, and after seeing all the crap others besides me have gone through, I think I'm done with this sale. Let's see what April brings.

shouldn't these links and what they are showing to the consumer be properly checked before going live? Is it really Daz's intention to drive their loyal subscribers mad, is that the real intent of March Madness? It has certainly become frustating to shop here with all the errors and "Oh sorry that's not what we meant, we really meant this" excuses. Your sales team should really be held accountable and be sure the sales work as intended prior to putting up the ads. I too have emptied my cart several times because the prices were not what the ads insinuated, I feel for the PA's who must be losing revenue due to the poor ad copy for this sale.

So much that i tried to buy, or intended to, but from one minute to the next stuff drops out of sale, one day to the next... so now I could have had brigette 8 for $34 now the lowest is 49.60 .. now I would never buy it unless its less than $34. ... then its back at a higher price. Once I see stuff for free or way discounted, there is no way I'm buying it for 50% off. Thats kind of getting into the stupid realm at that point. It is also overall bad sales gimmick on DAZ part, in my opinion ... Most of us are not rolling in the money where we can spend hundreds everyday just on a whim.
So its wait and see ... also what's bad, we all know wait and see will pay off sooner or later.

...yeah about the only sales that I get any mileage out of any more of are the PC+ sale, and the Holiday sale that follows in December (particularly those "PC+ For A Day" deals).
They should be, but there hasn't been a single day during MM where there hasn't been at least one screw up like this. At this point I'm beginning to wonder if sales actually forgot about MM and then had to throw something together at the last minute. That's sort of what I did. It really felt like DAZ didn't really care about the early buyers of Bridgette 8 Pro. But I was still able to take advantage of the better prices you could get over the weekend. On Saturday I put everything from my original Bridgette 8 Pro order in my cart, then added 3 more items I could now get for free because of the lower price on the DOs, and also added the 'Related Items' I wanted and could get at a lower price with Bridgette 8 Pro in my cart. I was then able to get a full refund for my original Bridgette 8 Pro original order.
So the Z Plus Size Model Shape Preset and Poses for Genesis 8 Female that just got released and comes with a 40% March Madness deal does include the Plus Size Model Morph, but still requires the Genesis 8 Female Body Morphs product - which triples the price?
That's a shame.
That set of morphs is often at a discount that makes them very inexpensive; I picked them up for 3.99 on one such sale.
I'm more excited for these flash sales compared to the actual March Madness.

Doubles would be more accurate right now, as the product is a Newly Mad release that will trigger the 50% off on the Select DOs, of which the Morphs are included.
There's unlikely to be a lot of people complaining - if you sort the store by most popular Daz Originals Genesis 8 Female products, those morphs are absolutely right up there. Nearly anyone using Genesis 8 will already have them, as they're basically the default tool-kit for adjusting figure shape - along with the head morphs, I'd say they're almost certainly the most widely required pre-requisites for G8F figures. (Likely considerably more so than even Victoria 8).

I picked the female head & body morphs, and the male body morphs up the other day for ~$6/each. I just wish the male head morphs had been included that day.
My time is off because I just got off vacation and was back at work today. So when i got home decided to take a nap and was just now going thru the store for todays sales and had a cart with about 10 items in it and then the prices changed. I was like, what the... and released it was after 1am, DOH! LOL, oh well there's always another sale.
Oh, god damn it! Is DAZ time using DST now? I'm still buying stuff from the Mousso and Bluejaunte flash sale.
Well with all that stuff that seems to disappear from the store regularly the "there's always another sale" argument isn't as valid anymore.
...when my local Safeway puts something on sale, there are no "gimmicks", I get the items for the advertised discount. This is what builds customer loyalty, not sales which use incomprehensible mathematics or conditions that you need to buy this ts get a discount on that, but wait if you also buy this you get an even better discount.. Using a very expensive item (eg, a newly introduced pro bundle) as the key to release an extra minor discount kind of defeats the entire purpose when it costs more than the extra savings on items many want to purchase.
I am a veteran of MM sales, I remember when the discount was a flat 50% off with no gimmicks. I also remember coupons and vouchers that stacked with the base discount which no longer is the case.
I have stayed away from the "convoluted" (very apt adjective!) MM promos, which is easier, granted, when you want G/G2/G3 rather than newer G8. All I have bought so far is a pose set I had wishlisted that was on Mad Artist, the Tulips, and several sets from the Platinummy promos.
Platinummy is the best sales concept since PC+ For a Day, & for similar reasons -- it's simple, straightforward, a great value, & fun.
