Key items have dropped the Snuggle Up Bundle, twelve older Bonus items today:
True. I went to Hum website and they have a gorgeous 1969 Chevelle but it's $75.00. Too rich for my blood.
You're confusing two different issues. The Bonus Madness section doesn't say unique or new, that's the Unique For Today section. My comment on the BM section was just expressing my disappointment that, after offering an actual new item each day for the first week of MM, the BMs are now old product that has all been through the clearace ringer multiple times.
The unique issue has to do with the actual defintion of the word and the phrase "Unique for Today" The definition of Unique is singular, unlike any other, so if you run the exact same promotion for multiple days, you can't really call it "Unique for Today" if the exact same offer was made yesterday.and however many other times the identical promotion is run (not to mention spammed out via the purple bars,) because it does very specifically imply that there's something new or different about TODAY's offer that is different from all the others. Which there isn't. If they'd just said Unique Offers or Unique Offer For Buyers of Bridget 8 or just about anything else, or if they had actually added a few nwe items it would have been fine, but use of the qualifier "for Today" IS very poor English.
As for being persnickety about this, sorry, but I and many others received a Purple Bar offer for this exact same promotion yesterday, a day AFTER I had already bought the Bridget Pro Bundle, and gone through this offering twice now, having it thrown up again with the words "Unique For Today" really pushed my buttons.

Just a friendly reminder, the forum mods are here to help but they are human too. They're not responsible for the wording etc of sales banners.. if people feel suitably aggrieved, please file a ticket (keeping it civil) rather than directing angst at the people on the front line.
Thanks!
Being on the Front Line can be dangerous, literally or figuratively; The front line serves as a shield for those making the decisions, whether we're talking war or commerce, or anything in between.

I don't envy the mods during these event sales! Having worked retail as a clerk, I know what it feels like to take the brunt of someone's ire, even though I had nothing to do with the decisions, (and whether I feel the customer's complaint was valid or not!)
We usually thank the mods for their help at the end of an event, but I'd like to say "you really are appreciated" now, as well. 'Cause sometimes, I'm pretty sure, it doesn't feel like it.
Thank you.
Of course you waited to say that until after I've locked myself in the lion cage....
Can someone please confirm this for me :)
2 x NEWLY MAD Releases = 50% off (NEWLY MAD Releases in cart)
2 x NEWLY MAD Releases + Purple Bridget 8 banner (20% off on 2 ]NEWLY MAD Releases) + Your Key Unlocks Savings (10%) = 55% (NEWLY MAD Releases in cart)
Edit: forgot the Your Key Unlocks Savings (10%)
The first one should be correct. The second one, though, should be 64% off. (($100 - 50%)-20%)-10% = $36, or 64% of the original total. That said, I've got something odd happening. I'm only getting 60.5% off, and I've got the key and the purple bundle, as well.
Thanks - I thought something was off. It's showing up as 55% in my cart for some reason and I've been trying different variations. I've submitted a ticket.
Whoops, scratch mine. Reloading the cart page seems to have fixed it.
Check to make sure your items are actually Newly Mad and not Still Mad. I've found that swapping the items out with others of the same type will sometimes trigger different discounts.
This should be fixed now.
Looks like MM new releases from before the 4th of March have lost their extra intro discount - showing just 30% off instead of 40%.
That would be correct - three days of Still Mad (4th, 5th, 6th) is fairly typical.
In checking this I learnt that the Purple Banner is set to expire tonight, so gather ye discounts while ye may.
I'm pretty sure that all the new releases from during the sale have retained the 40% discount. Plus, if you look at the store, there are a little cluster of new releases from, I think, the 1st of march (I have one in my wishlist from that date), that are still 40% or 58% for DO's.
What discounts, I have a purple banner but it doesn't seem to be giving anything extra. The purchase of the Bridget Pro bundle as an incentive to future discounts seems to have never materialised.
Ditto.
And there have been errors with almost every purchase I've made so far this March-Mehness (and I'm mostly buying from my wishlist, plus whatever I need to trigger discounts, only they often don't work). Just a few dollars here and there, but it adds up. I'm tempted to return everything... Putting in a ticket or two a day is a pain.
The beginning of this sale is even worse than last year's early MM.
Have done both retail customer service and been a lead forum mod, I also really, really appreciate you mods!
AFAIK, the purple banner never actually did anything as it was just a repeat of the same text/discounts that were printed in the daily ads. I started a thread on the subject and no one posted that they had received anything additional beyond that https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/313446/is-this-purple-bar-offer-really-a-purple-bar-offer#latest .
Today the Bridget 8 offer refers only to Buy, it says nothing about owners, so the Purple Banner is an additional offer (and it is stacking with the 10% key item discount).
Does that mean that people who buy it today pay less than people who bought it the first day?
I don't think so. If anything I think the early buyers have had a longer run of buying new items at an extra discount over base MM discount,
It's unfortunate how the extra discounts played out; three days with the Bridget content which I already have from the Pro Bundle. While there were some items wishlisted from before the Sleep Bundle, the selection of choices has been slim, lacking in something to entice me to use the "reward."
I think the one major difference is that the people buying it today don't have the option of getting the HD add on at the 70% off price, other wise the items in the other discount categories haven't changed.
+1 to this! Also been there in the Retail Wars, and yeah service jobs can be super rough. Thanks for all you guys do, and for not flipping out on us even when (and ESPECIALLY when) we have it coming.
It certainly feels that way. I've passed on a pro bundle I might have bought, because of the way this is set up. This is the second time that the buy/own distinction has made me wonder what is going on. This doesn't seem a great way to drive early adopter purchases.
I've had one of the key items from the start and have had additional discounts from the start of March Madness.
...still hoping for a key item that I can actually use.
