Is this Purple Bar offer really a Purple Bar offer?

So, I got a purple Bar offer this morning that read: 

Thank you for your support of The Bridget 8 Pro Bundle. Get an EXTRA 10% off* any Newly Mad Items

OR get an EXTRA 20% off* when you buy any two (2) or more.

* Items must be in cart simultaneously for discount to apply.

 

Sounds like an okay deal, right? 

Except, that's the exact same offer that's in today's regular ad

So, do I get the PB offer on top of the regular offer?  Or is the Purple Bar "special offer" actually nothing of the sort and just spam?

    Yes, and have you tried it in your cart to see what the total discount is? With stacked discounts, as a PC+ member, the total discount for me at checkout is 55%, which is pretty poor, compared to other sales, where 60% or more is the norm.

    I mean, it sounds like the sales page also tells you about the sale that the purple banner gets you. The banner just won't show for people who don't already own her.

    It seems there's a lot going on with this sale which is really messed up. Promises on banners that are removed after hours and this sort of thing. I'm seriously considering returning everything I have bought in the last month.
