Thank you for that.  I can use it as a talking point for well meaning people who try to shame me into caloric abstinence. devil

However, personally, I never believe anything science says about the plus & minus features of  food.  They've gotten it wrong so many times it's obvious they really don't know what they're talking about and it's all just handwaving, smoke and mirrors and which side of the bed they got up from that day and who's funding the research. indecision  On the other hand, when I notice ill effects of over indulgence of whatever, I do back off. enlightened

I do, however, have a deep trust in science.  Unfortunately food science is much like psychiatry, still in the dark ages.  It sometimes works but they have no idea why. frown

...agh.  Need to call the local SSA office to make an appointment which means a 15$ - 20$ phone call on my flip phone as they put you on hold forever.  May go down and try to make an appointment in person tomorrow as I can't afford that.

So I'm confused on how that phone is better then paying 40 for a no contract un limited service?I mean it sounds like one or two calls where you are put on hold a month and you've paid for the unlimited .....just my confusion

Remote control?  If you are remote, you aren't going to enjoy any of those features.  Unless, of course, you surprise a friend who's sitting in the chair.

Castors do not provide swivel, that's built into the top of the center mast, at the seat connection.  But five arms do provide more stability than four, helps keep from tipping over.  It's not foolproof, though...you can tip over a chair with five legs.  They should have angled it a bit, you can only see four in this photo!  wink

...only once in a great while do I have to make such a call.  55$ a month on the plan I had was a waste as usually I don't even use up a prepaid 15$ minutes card before the 30 days expire and I really don't need data as I can use local Wi-Fi.  I don't text, as well as only receive/make a few calls a month.  With the forthoming Medicare deduction even a 40$ plan would put me in the hole by the end of the month.

Not sure, but it is hard to drink tea in this house with all the shifting rules.

I didn't say it wouldn't swivel...just that the legs are not responsible for the swivel!

fill a thermos and hide the tea in closet?

cleaning - mebbe one of those storage places for the extra stuff cluttering your room?
is a montly fee foe those.  is easier than sorting stuff to keep or throw away on a deadline.
is hard to let go of stuff.

Lotsa people by me put there extra stuff in storage, space is a premium in new youk city.
i had 1 for a few years, i ended up throwing most of it out.  i miss my 1980's clothes.
shoulder pads and stirrup pants, leggings, madonna fashion.
never thought i would miss the 80s so much.
need to listen to boy-george now  lol

....ah no problem just came back from the market with a big box of Yorkshire (my favourite brand as they growers use sustainable methods). Nice and Strong as well as enough to last me for about 3 months of brekkies.

I still need to get a calling card (which means a long walk tomorrow) as none of the stores close by handle the one I use.
