Too late,  she has basically threatened me with the idea of eviction and I do not know where else to go.  It is not a good environment to live with my stepfather (but living with mum is fine, but my stepfather must have some ocd or some controlling issues.)

...where you are doesn't sound like a good environment either (in some ways worse).  I would consider maybe heading back to your mum's until you can get into a better place.

...and please, go talk a social services worker and tell him/her of the situation.

Non-complaint:  I went out to breakfast.  The snow had stopped and a friend braved the accumulated snow and picked me up.  I had to walk in 5 inches of wet snow (without having found my boots yet) a half block to get into his truck but we drove to the next town and had a good breakfast.

Complaint:  Now after being home for two hours I look out the window and it's snowing, hard, again. frown  Arghhh...

....thick haze again this morning not sure if it is fog or smoke (or a combination).  Warning issued for those with respiratory issues.  Eyes have been stinging and watering for the last couple days.

San Francisco Muni shut down their famous cable cars because of the bad conditions there as the cars are not enclosed.

...well got a letter from the SSA and it is not good.  Apparently they will be auto deducting Medicare premiums from my monthly benefit beginning with my next deposit, leaving me with less than 200$ a month after rent, utilities, and other "necessary" expenses (paper goods, laundry, transit fares, etc.).

I don't understand why we pay into Medicare while we are working only to have to then pay a fairly high monthly premium afterwards (that is only 20$ less less than the crappy plan my former company offered when I was making almost twice what I get now) plus other assorted costs it doesn't  cover, which my State's Medicaid sponsored programme does (like dental and vision).  On top of that I have to pay for prescriptions (under the state plan generics are free) and there are other out of pocket charges for treatments or therapy I never had to deal with.

There really isn't much I can do job-wise to supplement my SS income as I cannot stand for long periods of time, am no longer able to do physically demanding work, or handle tasks that require a high degree of fast, accurate manual dexterity (such my keyboarding speed which is now far below the minimum required for an office position).  These are the only occupational areas I have any prior experience in.  Others, like radio show announcer, are pretty much a dying occupation thanks to to automation.

I maybe make a little here and there for illustration work, but no where near enough to offset the Medicare premium on a monthly basis.

Need to get up early Monday to go down to the local SSA office before it opens (so I'm not stuck there all day) as when I called, I was put on hold which burned though 8$ in minutes charges before I hung up.  Not about to spend.15 - 25$ for one phone call, as when I still had the smartphone, I was put on hold for around 45 minutes, and once, for over an hour.

...yes though they are dwindling due to adoption of automated systems, mergers, and moving such operations to other countries with lower living costs.

As for myself, I totally washed out.

For one, I am terrible at "upselling", particularly when it is to someone who is having trouble paying their monthly bill (which was the most frequent call).  Yeah, the companies "say" the job isn't sales related, however you don't make "metrics" unless you successfully upsell services and new products, and if over say three to five months you don't meet and keep up with increasing metrics, you are usually sacked. The job also required me  to be very tech savvy with the product (in this case smartphones) which I wasn't (I still carried around and used a flip phone).  Yeah, they had all the information on the workstation but it required rapid toggling back and forth as well as logins/logouts (see next).

I also suffer from both dyslexia and short term memory loss which doesn't help when you have to create and remember four to five cryptic passwords to do your job, and change them every two months to something completely different, as well need as fast keyboarding skills to look information up.  My average call time was 22 min which is too long for their standards.

,...looks like I just lost my Gmail account as I keep getting a "corrupted Content error"  when I try to open it.

Really really, not happy about this rubbish.as I am now totally out of contact.

...and I think I just killed my mouse as I got so upset I threw it on the floor because of this (the right button no longer works).

No way am I going to Hotmail as I don't trust MS security.

Carrara 8 pro is now cheaper than Carrara 8 standard.  Wish I could get Carrara 8 pro but I am broke and I think I already got it.

I think I saw the house lady put one of my bath and body works coupons in her purse.

This won't get better on its own.  You need to take charge.  Kyoto Kid and I feel the same:  You need to find yourself an advocate who is on YOUR SIDE and so that a PROPER investigation can be done on this facility...not a fake investigation, which is what will happen if you don't have anybody looking out for YOUR interests.

    Make the call!

...well Gmail is still giving the same error.  I can open other Google services like YouTube, Drive, and Docs, just not Gmail.

Went to a site called DownDetector.com and it seems others are having issues as well.  Their map seems to indicate Gmail is down in several areas not just here but other nations as well. Posted on the Gmail forum about this and included a screen shot of the error message (see below), as well as on their FB site.

But are you sure? Have you double checked your coupons? Little trick start writing your initals in the corner of your coupons and count them .That way you know for sure if one is missing and if one is found were it doesn't belong you can prove if it is yours .

Oooh, this is an excellent idea.  Give each coupon a serial number.  You might do this with all your stuff.  Use heiroglyphs or dots like they do in prisons.  Have some fun with it, keep good records.  But don't let that become an excuse for you not to get an advocate.

...wow, LeatherGryphon, another 5,433,080,000 miles (545,000,000 [Earth orbit/yr] + 376,680,000 [Sun proper motion/yr] + 4,511,400,000 [galactic rotation/yr]) added to the "logbook".  Congratulations, that's a grand total of 385,748,680,000 miles travelled....(±5% and not taking into account expansion rate of the Universe).
