Wow this looks great I love all of the addons to, does the hd addon not come with the pro this time though?

Not sure what to think of this one. She looks ok for sci-fi renders but i feelif people buy the pro pack its more for the addons then the character itself. She looks a bit underwhelming. but i will await the community renders to see what she brings.

honestly I always thought they were lizards with scales, not just from V but Chariots of the Gods, the 0neg blood, dragon legends etc

Same here, even tho I really DON'T need yet another female. But...Josh Crockett and P3D's morphs and that firefly suit....o.O

Well, certainly not what I'd have expected. But that's all to the good. The morph is quite pretty. The SF features are at least not something that we've had in an offical base before. Not that enthralled by either the hair or the clothing. But that's nothing new, and some of it is usable in bits.
Admittedly, not my genre at all, but there are some truly beautiful things among the add-ons. If more of them had 3DL settings I'd be tempted, just for the fact that they really are beautiful work.
And what is with all the add-ons? Have they been stockpiling SF content for the past year and just decided to throw it all at us at once? I never saw so many add-ons tagged onto a base release.
ETA: And released on a *Friday*?! Are they just *asking* for trouble? When have you *ever* seen a new base release that didn't come with at least one major glitch?
Some addons are interesting (FWSA), but this is a pass for me. The main character is just a bit too generic to be a good "mixing ingredient", like e.g. Victoria, Mable or Josie. Then again, this just my opinion

does she come with the green skins and those markings on the base? Or is that just the promos showing us other stuff from the add ons?
She comes with the human, blue, pink and turquoise skins and each skin has 3 different presets for the markings.
oh yay! thanks Jess! I just remembered a previous figure - that i can't recall which one - that had tattoos in the main promo yet she didn't come with the tattoos so I was curious with this one.
I'm kinda impressed with Zelara's base - have to figure out now how to convince He Who Holds The Money Cos His Wife Is HOPELESS With Budgeting, to let me get the base. LOL
Zelara 8 is AMAZING! She's incredibly detailed and SO PRETTY - I adore her!

I remember the good ol' days when aus currency was at parity with US currency - where $US66 for the pro meant $AU66. :sigh: Now, that means $90 in aussie money which is WAY out of my league. LOL. But I do think I can scrape up enough for the base figure at least. I quite like her. And am impressed it's not just a "pretty girl with one skin and three makeups" - the base has more options.
She's SO CUTE, imo! :)
Shes alot of fun, we did a set for her hopefully releasing sooner rather then later, and sci fi is soooo not my cup of tea so that says alot imo lol
Impressed with this release. The base figure is brilliant, and there is a quality assortment of addons. Wish the HD addon was included as in past releases though: there are so many addons to choose from!
She's my favorite of the G8 women so far.
Don't need a human looking femalien, so there's another $ 70.- I don't have to spend. Thanks DAZ. Even the $ 100.- freebies and 40% reduction for featured PAs don't manage to tempt me, as I'm not that much in SciFi so there's not too many of my wishlisted items in that offer.
So I keep my money 'til the next male named figure with an even less tempting offer comes out.
Aureska is a very nice character but it requires certain products: a major turn off...
Been reported. It seems they may have picked up products used and not those required.
Pretty sure those are meant to be listed under products used in promos and not required.
Not what I was hoping for but if I did realistic fantasy novels, well if you can call multi-colored female aliens realistic, I'd buy right away. It does seem if Star-Trek style story-telling might be the biggest niche in DAZneyLand.
It's also the 1st Pro bundle to be released on a Friday that i remember!
Although no email has dropped into my "Exclusive Offers" site mail, I did notice I was given an additional 20% discount which I'm assuming for buying previous G8 Pro bundles.

After looking at the Promotion page, I thought, Zelara isn't all that, and called it a miss for me this time round.
And as usually the case, Divamakeups promos on the forum has made me look again.
However, despite some really nice characters on the add-on list, the Pro pack itself is very underwhelming, the clothes aren't really that enticing for me, the two extra characters aren't as interesting as the ones on the add-ons and the hair isn't particularly unique.
i might change my mind later in the day, but I think it's still a miss.
The 'Matrix' price thing is quite straightforward this time round though, but When add-ons outshine what's on the Pro bundle, is it really worth keeping the Pro bundle as is anymore? It feels like an off-cuts pack. I've held off 'til I could get the Pro Bundles before because there was three really nice items in thre among some sort of nice and few 'meh', seems like Zelaras is all 'meh'.
This is the first render I've seen where it's the background gives away that this is not a photo. Great job, as usual.
Zelara's cute. I wish she didn't have maturish lines under her eyes, but her skin's really nice too.
Funny how that goes - her eyes were a large part of what sold her to me. Just goes to show :-)
Personally I am DELIGHTED at the variety offered in the characters- super job PAs! So many different options, it blows the mind. So what is the pricing supposed to be? Right now I'm seeing the Pro Bundle at 39.68 and the add ons are 63% for DO and $47 for non-DO. Haven't looked at the catalogs yet, but the $100 of freebies is amazingly good. With the exception of that glitched bundle which is more than the products added together. (The Core Command Bundle is a whopping $62+)
Those were the percentages I got - I assume they're correct (and the freebies were great too, I now have the Dog spacesuit (among other things))
