Daww What a cute render! :D I love it! Thank you for purchasing KamilyAnn!
Thanks a lot, Diva.
After seeing your render I think I'm going to have to pick up that robot! lol It's super cute! :)
Good choice. It was my first render with that robot, as well, and I like it very much.
+1 !!
I would love this to
Hi,
I decided that I couldn't pass Zelara up. Here is my test render of her.
Trish
That's beautiful, Trish!
Not into aliens at all but still, Zelara is very pretty.
Honestly, I think Zelara 8 is a step up as far as detail and realism goes. Super detailed and beautiful character!
I'm loving everyone's renders - please post more! :)
Here's a quick render of Zelara 8 the two pro bundle characters Cypher and Zurie. They're adjusted slightly with Altern8 but they probably didn't need it, they're beautiful "out of the box" - I'm just addicted to tweaking skin settings. lol :P
I couldn't help myself. I had to put in another pass on her materials and actually put in a little effort this time. Unbelievable potential in her.

OK, last one for a bit. She's nice to work with, but don't get on her bad side!

LOL
EXCELLENT!
Me three or four?
Well, I still have no clue how to add a picture to a post (and I have uploaded to forums in the past
)
but this is my first attempt to render Zelara. https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/625791/
Nothing spectacular, only a kind of portrait...She's basically straight out of the box, the only additions are zoro_d's fantastic bending morphs and his "peach fuzz".
And I have to say, very well done DAZ! I really like her.
Yeah it took me a while to figure it out as well. there are two ways I know of but there may be a better way of doing it that I don't know of.
First there's the little "Attach a file" button just under the comment box, click that and you can upload an image saved on your computer.
Then if you want to have it full sized like that open the little attachment in a new window and copy the url. Then click on the gear icon to edit your post, place the cursor where you want your picture and go to the little landscape icon in the fourth tool box at the top of where you type in the comments and paste in your url and make sure to set the width to 800 so an admin doesn't have to do it for you!
The second way is pretty much the same only instead of attaching it to your post just upload it to you image gallery and do the same procces of copy paste the url into the landscape icon like so; ( just make sure you again open the image in it's own window, using the gallery page itself won't work, just right click the image and open it alone) Hope you don't mind I used your picture, i can take it down if you want, but it's just so beautiful!
That is effing GREAT! I was on the fence, but you just convinced me to purchase.
I wish there was a "Like' button on the forums, everyone is always posting such great renders, I want to quote all of you and shower praise!!! But that would get annoying I'm sure and I dont want to bog down the thread. Keep them coming! Zelara is awesome!
I do have a question though, does anyone else have a problem with the Stargazer outfit? I'm going through all the awesome stuff I got and just installed this with connect and it's showing all these exclimation point icons and won't load....
Agreed!
Thank you @divamakeup!
Trish
@guitardrifter
The "final" render is better.
I do love that fact that so many "know" what (an) alien(s) should look like.
There's no reason they would look like us, but also no reason they wouldn't. Nobody seems to complain about the humanoid werewolves.
Pretty judgmental about a fantasy (as of now) topic.
@Wonderland "Thanks, I'll have to check that out. I bump up all the render settings (Max Samples, Render Quality) but never knew about that in advanced settings! "
Now that you know your render doesn't have compression artifacts, you might be cautious before eliminating the compression settings. I know you have a 1080ti, but running everything at 4096x4096 will really bump up the VRAM usage and probably render time as well.
Also probably unnecessary, along with w/ cranking subD way up, unless to are doing extreme closeups.
Great you like it, davidwski_16294691f0.
Zelara 8 mixed with 75% of Ktarya Human.
thanks for the effort :) Perhaps a future add-on product/expansion
Deleted comment as file will not attach. Just sits there endlessly saying uploading. File is only 1mb in size.
I have to agree with you here. Due to popular culture, i.e. Star Trek/Wars, this and that, ext. humanoid aliens that are female do tend to have breasts. With those it's because the actresses were indeed humans, and hence they had them. But I kind of think that breasts on aliens and other fantasy creatures are when differentiate them from being male or female. Take Josh's Greylien, or his Disrupter or any number of other "male" aliens. They are all categorized as being males, but why? Just as none of us know if a female alien would or wouldn't have breasts or a pretty face, what makes these males had to be scary and unattractive (figuratively speaking, I own most of Josh's stuff because they're awesome)? Only the category they are placed in? Not saying I think they should be female, I as well as any that look at them will think they are males, even if they weren't privy to the categories. Just as with the Xenogirl or with Aureska Hol. No one is going to think they are males, for the fact that they have breast and a pretty face. I get wanting diversity, and that faceless version of Xenogirl is something I would buy in a heartbeat, but only for the diversity, not because I feel there is anything wrong with her as is. I think she's beautiful and a work of art, just as all the things here are. Besides, if any of these alien characters had no female characteristics, why would they be part of a base character or require them to be installed? This is because they depend on some of the assets, and without that wouldn't they just be standalone characters then? In which case, you could just use any of the other "male" aliens and call it a female for your story or whatever you want them for.
Just my two cents, sorry for the rant, but we need to save the ta-tas. Besides, it's not all that hard to get rid of the boobs, as has been pointed out already.
And how do we know they'd have only two breasts? Most mammals have several. It would be interesting (but maybe a bit creepy) to see an alien with six or more breasts!
