    OMG, Wow! She looks great and the add ons are freaking fantastic. Instant buy. Are my eyes playing tricks on me or do a I see some Mousso in Zelara 8? Especially around the eyes. I love her and she will definitely be coming to my runtime shortly.

    The Zelara 8 Alien HD Details dial does apply to the head/face, but I'm not 100% sure what it is doing.

    The dial is under the "People" twisty, not "Head" or "Full Body"... so it's intended for everything.

    It looks to me like the separate HD morph is for the human side of the character ;) Too bad it wasn't included with the pro bundle. I think it belongs there...not sure how many I'll buy if they go separate again.

    That $100 off the sci-fi items is pretty cool. I ened uped with 10 free, but then the 11th added average $0.15 to each free item ... so 11 for around $1.00 .I could delete one and get 10 for free though ... 
    Also, I noted the $6 PC+ cupon worked until I started adding the free items...that pretty much screwed that up.

    Bleah. I don’t even know if I like her, just that the G8M side of my library is still really, really empty. Michael’s anniversary is coming up, right? Maybe they put off a male bundle release until then.

    till working mine out the two coupons in different combinations was working but the glitch is back with 6 off daz coupon chose different freebies got them to 0 tried 6 daz coupon about $3 of combo of pro and 3 addons and again the rest off the 0 of the freebies so instead of $64.50 it's $67.39,

    I did like some of the extras offered with today's big release and I DID get the Zelara 8 base since it came with all those cool bits.  I'll take those over HD any day.  But Fuseling and Sickleyield's Nifty Nebulas, Little helper robot and Cybernetic Eyes and Drones and the expansion pack, I was quite happy with today.  I don't usually get pro bundles any more as most of the time more than half of it I won't use.  I loved when DAZ allows us to create out own bundle, I hope that they adopt that eventually as a regular option.

    Aureska? I have her. She is her own HD dial (doesn't use Zelara Alien HD).

    I'm downloading like 3GB of Daz stuff right now... not rendering anything.

    I didn't buy Xenogirl, but I was really really tempted to include her.

    My 3 plus bundle... Aureska Hol HD for Z8, Lyisse for Z8, and Genus Unknown Outfit Textures (BECAUSE I SUPPORT SKIMPWEAR).

    I really liked all the choices this time, and it was difficult to choose 3.

    Well, the base figure is nice. I like her. For an alien woman there is heavy emphasis on her humanity....and many of the promos are dominated by that side of her.  I bought pro since it was cheaper to get than her and the 3 addons plus the hundred dollars off the extra sci-fi items made it worth it.

    I do like the characters where she actually has alien grafts and different parts.  I don’t need another human female....So genuine alien qualities are my preference.

    I hope not, I mostly buy the male pro-bundles when they first release and get the female characters as just the base or as free bundles when buying a male bundle. I've really liked some of the female bundles this year: Penny, Alexandra, Edie, and Aiko. I didn't pick up Floyd because of timing and I have some older lady add ons/PA characters for Edie and older figures. I love that Daz has Floyd and Mabel, but I just wasn't in a great need for either oof them. I need/WANT more male 8 content and ethnic variety. I really hope the sales for male content goes up. How do we know if sales are up or down for each release? Does Daz even share thast information with consumers?

    Thanks. The promo renders for Aureska have plastic skins on her. So she looks unrealistic and more like a plastic toy (not to be blatant and rude).

    The cheapest I can get her to is $ 49.60. So even with three of the cheapest addons - not the ones I would really like to buy - the package comes to $ 66.09 with every addon with a hugher price still adding to that.
    The $ 100.- free items was tempting, but my wishlist only asked for about a third of that. So there would be a character I don't really need, with lots of addons in the pro pack that I also don't need and required addons I don't need either - if I take those to keep the price low - to get stuff for about $ 35.- that interests me for free and "filler stuff" for $ 65.- that gathers dust on my harddisk.

    I didn't realize she uses the Zelara spine (part of the Zelara 8 package).

    (I must have been distracted by something on the front/ventral side of the figure. Perhaps a pair of somethings.)

    There is a channel in the texture maps where the Spine goes. It is not ideal.

    Here's an attempt to mitigate the spine channel (for non-owners of Zelara) ...
    I put on a spine/Torso prop from DarioFish's More Than Human 2.0 for G3F (from Rendo) to demonstrate a third party spine over the spine channel. You can still see the hole from the spine channel, but it's not as terrible with the MTH2.0 prop.

    I first saw her banner and thought "Orion Slave Girl" (Star Trek). 

    I love the new Sci-Fi weapons and Poses product from Zeddicus.

    I can't get her yet, but Zelara is DEFINITELY going to be appearing in my Library. heart

    Okay, this is twice disappointing.....I think this is a better launch set and extras than some of the other female sets....and would have positioned some of my money a little better if I had seen this first. The second disappointment is really hoping for the next launch to have been the Dwayne 8, so I am wrestling with spending money now and not being positioned to buy the next set and that being Dwayne.

    I know we've had discussions about the skin tone I see versus what you see, but this one is the most appealing and "right" to my eyes. A perfect balance between too red and too pale. The greenish hue I often see is completely gone. A very, very lovely result. Might I ask which Altern8 seeting you used?
