    Ooookay now TODAY is an interesting day !!

    And so, questions :

    • Some weapons packs don't mention any GenesisX compatibility. Does that mean that they won't automatically go to a figure's hand when selectd ?

    • 200 Plus Head and Face Morphs seems great ! Thing is, I already own Genesis 8 Female Head Morph Resource Kit 2, which is nice although needs careful tweaking (or a girl can fast transform into a monster). I don't think both would be needed, and of course I can return one of the two if need, but maybe some advice can spare me some time and trouble

    • I don't currently own any black or asian character, some of the Morphs in 200+ allow you to create your own but without skin. Is there any (convincing) way to create black / asian skin without buying a character who has one ? Or, if not, any unexpensive G8 options ?

    I think the reason might be new G8 Pro packs coming up next month, and that's what I am excited about. wink

    Maybe they're going for the Las Vegas demographic?

    Correct. They won't automatically go to a the hand of an unsupported character.

    I'm a big fan of Zev0's products and highly recommend anything he releases! I'm pretty sure you can do more with the 200 Plus product than with any other head morph product. If it were me, I'd buy 200 Plus, and keep the other one as well.

    The G8 females can wear the materials from G3 females, although if the materials are from a "7" base figure, you'll need Genesis 3 Character UVs for Genesis 8 Female. My first recommendation would be to get Skin Builder 3 from Zev0 and Draagonstorm. You'd have to create the skin on a G3 female, save your new skin and presets, and then apply those presets to your G8 female. (For personal use, not resale.)

    For inexpensive characters, if you want something right away, P3Design makes some lovely dark skinned characters and is one of the Feature Artists. If you get the 200 Plus product, (or any Debut new release,) you can choose from a number of darker skinned characters at 60% off. Be sure and check all the Featured Artists that specialize in characters—Fred Winkler Art, Sabby, Lyoness, Emma and Jordi etc.—to look for dark skin characters.

    And of course, there's always another sale, so if you don't need anything now, you can hold out for better prices. The PC Anniversary sale follows on the heels of this sale. Shortly after the PC sale ends, we're into the holiday season, which isn't an event sale per se, but always seems to have some great deals through the end of the year.

    So if I get that right, I can get a nice G3 character but not base figure and I'll need nothing more to use the texture ? No compatibility issues for G8 ?

    Skin Builder 3 looks great ! Expensive though. Maybe I'll wait for a sale. Oh wait, it should be on sale... GRRRRR Glitches !!

    Yes. You can buy a nice G3 female character and apply her skin materials to G8 female. Select both the G8 female and the G8 female eyelashes in the scene tab, then double-click on the icon for adding the complete character's skin, eyes, etc. and the materials will be applied to both the G8 figure and her eyelashes in a single operation.

    SB3 should be 60% off with a Debut new release in the cart at the same time. Just give Daz a couple of hours to get the discounts sorted.

    As for reselling skins created with SB3, the MR licensing is for Genesis 3 Female only, and requires a complete character. Skins created with SB3 cannot be sold as materials only. For personal use, skins can be used on G3F and G8F, and using SloshWerks UV swap products, on G3M and G8M, as well.

    Ok, so if I ever make a character I can use that for his skin, but not sell the skin by itself , It makes sense.

    It's a couple of the new g8 characters and the g8 morphs and stuff like that.  If you log out and go to the sale page you can see everything.  I had to do that this morning to check because it's empty for me too

    Did you add a New Release to your basket? With a new release and a PC+ the discount jumps over 75%, yes.
