They may have removed those few from the banner ad, but there are still 277 items listed on the PA Sale Day 7 Clothing and Accessories page, nearly half of which are not Daz Originals and are not getting the extra 70% discount. (I took a screenshot, so I can prove it!) Daz Midnight is only 6 hours away, (give or take a few minutes.) That's 18 hours of well over 100 items being advertised for an extra 70% off that were "never intended" to be part of the sale!
Of course not. If you got lucky enough the sale worked as advertised for you, enjoy your purchase. No one here will begrudge you that.
I am not sure that's what was meant. I think perhaps wondering if the prices were right, and not getting enough of a discount? A lot of ways to interpret that. But I agree, if the prices were right, you SHOULD be getting them.
Wondering if I paid more than I should have, yeah. My invoice isn't very useful in showing me the exact percentage off and I was too focused on cart jenga to make use of a coupon to match up actual percentage off to what it should have been. I guess... I'll just see how the month goes. I have a limited budget and I was certainly lured into buying by the promised discounts.
It isn't hard to check. Just open them up and see what vendor they are, and if they are one of today's featured stores. If you need help, PM me, happy to help you sort it out.
Now that they've "fixed" things, you should be able to re-add everything you bought to your cart again and see if the price matches what you paid.
Any word on Polish's bundle? That was awesome and ideal for a Beowulf series. I'm really wanting to see it back on the store.

It's been mentioned already, but I went to take advantage of the extrra 70% off select fantasy items (when a designated new item is in the cart), and discounts weren't applying.
The discounts applied to the other items in my cart normally (with qualifying products), but I ended up passing on the select fantasy items.
Whether the items were supposed to be on the PA Sale Day 7 Clothing and Accessories page is another matter, but if I see something on that page, with no notes saying otherwise, I expect the discount to apply. Of course, that sale will go away in 10 minutes or so, but I'm still disappointed.
Okay, so if you buy 3 or more New Debut it should come to 60% off, before anyone asks. That's 50% off, then x .80 (you are paying 80%, because you get another 20% off.) Just thought I'd answer that before someone asks, I'm in a pro-active mood.
And yes, the cart is currently correct on those. Haven't explored further though.
I just came back to see whether the 70% issue has been fixed. Instead I found my cart jumped from $74 (including some items that should have but were not reduced by 70%) to $153. I had a bunch of Diviney's brushes, and they are all back to the regular price now. This makes no sense at all to me.
IIRC the featured stores change after those artists are no longer New Debut and Still New so the stores are there for 2 days.
The Featured Clothing and Accessories with an extra 70% off was a Day 7 only promo, which expired at the beginning of Day 8, (today.). You could contact Customer Support about the missing discounts, see if they will honor them, or just wait for another sale. (I have a screenshot showing all 277 items as of late afternoon, if that will help.) As for Diviney's brushes, wasn't that a Mega Fast Grab store yesterday? Those are also only good for one day.
I had a bunch of other stuff too, but it's fine, I dumped my cart and am out of the shopping mood for the moment. There's always another sale and all that. Thanks for the offer :)

Well there is always the catchup sale later on.
I did that a few days ago too! And what made me mad at myself were the Mega Fastgrabs which in all likelihood will NOT be repeated when they do the Catchup sale, as they have certain fastgrabs for certain days. I don't see them put all the Fastgrabs back up at the same time. Sorry you did the same thing (but bet you remember for the rest of the sale to check out!)

Is anyone else noticing the changeover to the new day's sale details getting slower and slower over the last week? It's been half an hour, and I'm still seeing the day 9 banner pointing to the day 8 sale page, with no new stuff appearing yet on the main store page.
Hold on, there it goes. Hmm, nothing I'm really interested in (again), maybe I'll browse my wishlist for surprise discounts.
It has actually been faster for me this week, but tonight would just not turn over for me in Chrome tonight, and still, hasn't, but was fine in Firefox.
'Cross Discounting' does not work for Daz Originals.
Got an PA 'only' item (-40%) in my cart, add a PA/ Daz Originals item (which is already at -58% as a PC member) and it triggers the discount for the first item (-50%) but stay itself discounted at -58%. Or is it intended to be that way ? :)

Sure, got https://www.daz3d.com/clothing-smoothers-for-daz-genesis-2-female-s im my cart e.g., and add a featured artist item like https://www.daz3d.com/dark-barding (which is also a Daz Original), and the first one is triggered and the second not. But again, I already got a -58% for the second because of the featured artist discount and the PC+ Daz Originals discount. If I add a non Daz Originals featured artist item everthing is fine.
There seems to be an issue with Valandar's store, which includes your problem item. We have reported it.

I'm so happy that I'm not one of the guys who has to program all the rules and exceptions for the discounts... :)
Is there anything DAZ can do for all the customers in Florida (and that isn't me, Pensacola is well out of the path, at least for now) who will miss weeks and weeks of this sale?
My guess is the catch-up sale at the end of the month. If they add a catch-up on the Mega Fast Grab, it would serve that purpose.
That's going to mean extra overtime for Customer Support.
Anyone else noticed that there seems to be a lot of "rebuy" new releases for Genesis 8. Some of these have improvements. But, alot of them just seem to be a repackage of the previous version. I've gone ahead and bought some of the redo's for G8 because they include MR licensing for the new figure. So, even though these are pretty much the same as the G3 morphs, there is a reason to rebuy. However, for many redo items, I don't see the point. Hair that works on G3F will work fine on G8F. Also, there is not such a huge difference in using G8 over G3, that the previous generation character or morph won't work just fine.
My point really is this: PAs or DO that are just redo's of previous generation characters or hair or clothing, could be considered a software upgrade and have an upgrade price for current owners - maybe 30% of new purchaser price, to encourage the upgrade path.
Just as an example, I FINALLY bought most of the G3 characters that I had wishlisted for ages, just a few months ago. Many of them, I haven't even done a single render with, yet. Now, I'm seeing some of those characters returning as G8 versions. I just can't justify paying again for each of those characters, hair, poses, clothing as they come out in G8 versions...particularly since one of the big selling points of G8 is how backward compatible it is and able to use so much from the earlier generations.
I fully understand that the updated G8 versions of products should be made available at new item prices for folks that haven't purchased any of the previous incarnations. I'm just suggesting that an upgrade pricing should be available for people who have already bought previous generations of a G8 character, pose, hair, prop, clothing...etc., so we can keep up to date without feeling like we're just buying the same items over and over every other year. The ability is already in place, since Daz frequently does sales based on "if you own or buy X." So, a PA should be able to do the same thing for verified purchasers of their previous generation products.
