Simply amazing, sir. :)
Has anyone ever used any of Target View's outfits or figures? I'd been playing around with some of his old files and came up with this gent. Rendered with Sketchy and Iray.
I don't see the namne Target view in the vendor list. I tried to find 'em. :)
He's an artist from the Netherlands who had his own website where he sold items he'd made. He started off supporting M4 and V4, but then he started making his own figures. He sold one of his figures through RuntimeDNA but then pulled it after a time. You can see some of his output here: http://targetview.deviantart.com/
I've used his stuff here (https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/90203/) and here (http://sphinxmagoo.deviantart.com/art/Stunner-Redux-484448320).
Just wondering if anyone else has used his stuff.
Looks great. Let me know if he ever has his stuff for sale again. :)
Is Target View still around? I did some beta testing for him AGES ago.
I haven't tried any of his product, but this guy seems to be producing a lot of superhero content.
Joe,
I've got most of his M4 and V4 poses and they are excellent! Recently I've purchased several of his bodysuits, tops, bottoms and boots. The designs are very specific to certain characters so they aren't that versatile. They pose well, but lack details like folds. I find his boots to be too bulky, but for certain characters they work. I posted Vision, Cyclops and Captain Marvel WIPs at Rendo (https://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/?thread_id=2911628) if you want to take a look. Cyclops' boots are from a different vendor. I can post more images if anyone is interested. I'm at work and don't have access to them right now.
I've grabbed most of his Kitbasher stuff and have a lot of fun with them. As Brian mentioned, some of them are fairly specific to certain characters (e.g. Mon-El, Timber Wolf and Ultra Boy), but I've gotten a lot of versitility out of them by turning the insiginias off and changing the colours -- especially good for futuristic civilian clothing and starship crews.
Hopefully he'll keep adding Female tops and bodysuits to match the Males.

I love MightyMite's stuff! Oh, and his G3M clothing transfers pretty well to G3F and G2M.
Agreed, but the bridge in the chest area on a transfer isn't as smooth as his female tops, even using Wear It All. I'm more than willing to purchase the female counterparts for that alone, he's just got to make 'em.

I made a "skinsuit" by exporting a G3M into ZBrush, eliminating the eyes and mouth, bringing him back in and making morphs on the suit for bridging and smoothing areas and extra "Faric Folds. I use it as an invisible layer I conform clothes to and make morphs with it in ZBrush when I need a new one. It seems to work pretty well. I reommend it, if you have the software. If you don't, I think Sickleyield has a few products that help a lot with bridging gaps either sold here or at the other place. :)
lovely work Joe ( :
Thanks for the tips, they're appreciated; I've done similar (I have some of Sickleyield's helpers as well as Wear It All) and have also used invisible clothing with the shape I'm after (i13 has a set of 3 tops that work really well), but sometimes it's hit-and-miss (sometimes the visible smooths inside the invisible clothing instead of outside, for example). When the whole top or bodysuit is six or eight dollars (there's almost always a coupon sale), it's so much more time-efficient for me to purchase the extra clothing if it's available (and the results are almost always better than what I clumsily manage). My 3D time is so severely limited these last few years by work weeks that are way too long that I grab at anything that'll save me time.

Yeah, I think this could work. What's a good shader to make it better?
Just playing around
WOW.. that's really a good piece there FSMCDesigns!
Is this Daz or Poser or... other?
Thanks guys!
RKane, it's DS with a little postwork filter in PS. The figures and a couple of the props are from games I have (most games have tools that will let you extract some of the mesh for modding purposes), posed in 3DSMax, subdivided and imported into DS then the materials converted to IRAY. took about an hour to set the scene up then another to render it.
More fun with my fav Cap and IRAY
Great Captain America rendering! Is the suit availability anywhere?
Sorry, It's not a suit, but a complete model from one of my games imported into DS
Probably one that is not allowable to mention because, in many cases, its use is a breach of the EULA for the game in question and as a result discussions inevitably fall foul of the forum TOS.
Aah... well... in that case... whatever you do, FMSCDesign. Don't message me the info. :)
What Chohole said. There are legit ways of extracting mesh from the games you own for personal use via the developer tools and unfortunately non legit ways. I am a gamer, own quite a few games and I am also a developer/modder, so I have a collection of mesh assets from the games i own/play, many of which allow for fan art.
As a side note (and to bring it back to DAZ), I've been a fan of fighting games for ages. Lately I've been toying with a fighting game look for my characters. I have tons of characters made up but no way to show them off that doesn't seem boring to me. Here's a sample. I still want to make up a health status bar for the opponents. Feedback appreciated!
I just did a google search for health status bars and there are a ton of images. I then did a search for Mortal Kombat health status bars and got lots of images also. You should be able to come up with something doing that.
BTW love your render!
hope you like it
