    It's OK, you just have to learn to fall slowly. surprise  Or change the local gravitation constant.  "Q" could do it.

    What is it with cats and cucumbers, and now also bananas?  Do they somehow think it's a snake?

    I should play with Genesis 8 soon.  I still haven't even opened Daz Studio after I replaced the RAM in my computer.

    Eyyy and look who's back from the wherever I was all this time!  surprise

    I be trying to 3D again.  Here's two dino-y head models I did in Zbrush a few weeks back (The C4D screenshot one was sculpted to help with visualizing a drawing I was struggling with~)

    And a little animation that I was working on.... For the past few days ;v;

    Seriously,  was just going to goof around and experiment with animating a texture... I was just going to settle with moving the tail and the arms a little, maybe the neck... But part of me really felt like going that extra mile and actually making it move. I spent from roughly 2am to 11am working on JUST THE LEGS AND FEET. It was to say the least, very frustrating. I finally finished setting up the animation around 2 or 3 pm, and though there's still some issues here and there (namely the feet sliding on the ground) I felt it was good enough and the few problems remaining weren't worth another bundle of frustrating hours fixing them.

    The clip posted above is from a couple days ago,  the current scene is 60 frames long now and has a lil' more movement to it.  The scene set up is a bit different now too so won't look exactly the same aaaah...

    Aaah thanks~  Both for the welcome and the compliment ^^

    I found an old CD of Poser while helping clean out the storage with my grandpa,  guess he got it to use the school he used to run some years back. Lil raptor in it eeeee, but oh wow is the texture and UV map on it definitely showing its age! XD  He's a cute little guy though, decided to use him for the test renders up above because he's adorb.

    Some more frames from the anim I was making. :>

    Mm, someday I'll  take a stab at remaking the guy in Zbrush;  same looks, same general texture, but.... More detail? xD  I don't know how to go about setting it up for use in Poser/D|S though... There's tools for that but I barely understand C4D's rigging, let alone Poser's  ;v;

    Will cross that bridge when I get to it though, maybe someone here can do it for me haha...  Collaboration!

    ...had our local neighbourhood street fair yesterday.  Lots of booths either with relatively useless items or good food..  Sadly as I don't usually carry any cash on me couldn't really buy anything.  Yeah there was one of those "rip off" ATMs (that charged 3  or 4$ to use) but even the tasty smelling German bratwursts that one booth had (smothered in stone ground mustard and kraut) was not enough of an incentive to pay a small ransom for a little cash in the pocket.  I remember when  ATMs were part of one network or another and the any machine on the one that your bank subscribed to was free.to use.  Not anymore.  I would have to hike or bike nearly a mile to get to my closest bank branch.

    In the morning there was a fun goofy parade that included a couple marching bands.  Two of the funniest was the "Dunnymobile"  for a local plumber shop (the fellow driving it dressed like Super Mario) and several people on "tall" bikes.

    I hope that top hat is actually a helmet...that's a long way to fall if he loses his balance or something happens.   surprise

    Dana

    Had one of these when I was a kid. Father made it by flipping the frame over, moving the pedals higher. Rode it for years, no helmet, no pad, if it fell over I landed on my feet. Played outdoors until sunset, lots of exercise and I still have an excellent immune system from training it right when I was young.
    Now I'm a modern child - I sit at home getting fat, looking at things on a screen. But I do ride a bicycle and a motorcycle when the dirt road isn't soup.

    Our first cat here got into a starring match with a marrow - it was stem-end towards her and we think the stem and remains of the flower looked like a face with the swell of the marrow looking like hips. She lost.

    It's odd, considering cats have such good vision and depend on that and their sense of smell for hunting...that they'd mistake vegetables and fruit for a predator or enemy.

    Aaaah I just found out a lost some of my 3D scenes when my laptop died xvx

    Some Vray/Maxwell scenes, a few model collections...  I don't see most of them on my iomega storage device, so that makes me very... Worried. Especially since one of the model collections was one of those "Limited downloads, only stored on server for X period of time, after that you'll have to re-purchase again"  sort of deals erf.

    ...well they are carnivores.

    Though for some reason, the cat we used to have when I was growing up loved cantaloupe, watermelon and green beans.

    ...yeah having to read threads from the last post backwards as after I click on the link in the ebot it often takes me to the bottom of the page.  Can't upgrade FF anymore than I already have as the newer versions no longer support older 32 bit systems.

    ...well a very good non complaint for once.

    Received a call this morning that my application for the apartment was approved and I can move in early next month.  Heading down to put in the key deposit in a little bit.  Finally a place of my own with all the comforts and everything on the same floor.

    Complaint (again): My main computer that was in for repair STILL isn't ready

    And it is very annoying trying to use my old computer for DS. At startup I keep getting the can't connect to CMS message, although it apparently is connected to CMS
