If one's apartment has a loft or 2nd floor is it still a "flat"?indecision

I wanted to go to the outdoor pool today but forgot the most important thing which was my swimsuit.  I used the treadmill for half an hour and five minute cool down.  Fun but not as much fun as the outdoor pool.

Morning. Glorious aussie gold sunrise today, sat by the river for a whilebefore but sunshine began giving way to gloomy overcast low enough to make city towers appear to sag a little under its grey weight :)

...yeah having to read threads from the last post backwards as after I click on the link in the ebot it often takes me to the bottom of the page.  Can't upgrade FF anymore than I already have as the newer versions no longer support older 32 bit systems.

Might have to dual boot a Linux distro from a USB stick and use Midori or a similar modern/web kit browser from there :0

It looked like you were suggesting some strong drink while attempting the Linux thing!   laugh

Non-Complaint: Yea! my main computer is finally back from the repair shop and working well. It took awhile but they did an awesome job. And it was definitely worth the extra $55 to have the old hard drive cloned onto the new drive rather than hving to spend the time to reload all my drivers and programs.

Scratch that,  trying to redownload one of the files from the store I purchased it from but with no luck.

Firefox?  Gets to 50 ~ 60mb  then the download fails.

    Chrome?  Ditto.

    Safari?  Same as above.

It's a 280mb file, and no browser seems to be able to get it downloaded :/

I've downloaded files like that in Chrome and Firefox in the past.  I wonder if your ISP is throttling your downloads.  Also, check to be sure you have enough space where it's going.  I don't know what OS you have.  I have Windows 10 Pro, with the new Edge browser...which is a 64 bit browser, so probably handles files like that easily, and more efficiently than the 32 bit browsers.  It's fast, I'll tell you that.  Or maybe that's the 100mb/sec I get with my Fios account.  Can't afford more right now, but it seems really fast.  Downloading from my Product Library here it's really a lot faster than either of the other browsers were.  I mean, before I was getting around 3MB/sec.  With Edge and Fios I'm getting around 10MB/sec.  Notice the uppercase M and B.

Sounds like the purchase store's server has a problem. Do they have customer support?

    frown

Yeah I contacted 'em and they provided an alternate download. Got it without much hassle after that. :)

Oh.  Well, um...ignore my previous post, then.

Yes, Midori is green. smiley    it's made from mellons...muskmelon to be precise.  Tasty.  The Pearl Harbor is made with that, pineapple juice, and rum!  Yummy!

    That feeling when you have a render going for 9+ hours and then realize you forgot to enable Multi-Pass output in the render options before you started the rendering  ;v;

Dunno, but wish my place had one of those :D  I'm really tight on space at the moment, still it's the biggest place I could afford to rent without being forced to commute to work :(

Since I couldn't sleep anyway, yesterday at night I got to sorting my manga collection by series. Wow, that's a lot of titles! I think I need to sell some of those things, at least those too boring to re-read them.

If it helps anyone here,  the Nik Collection was made completely free some time back:  https://plus.google.com/+NikCollection/posts/AFGsG2Di7EK  ; /  https://www.google.com/nikcollection/

Relatively old news yeah but even so ^^

I used Color Effex 3 a lot when I was doin' 3D before, never got the chance to use the other products but now that they're free...  :D

But really - the Color Effex program is pretty good! Color Effex can be run standalone like Filter Forge,  I haven't tried the other parts of the collection yet though but I'd assume they can be run w/o Photoshop as well.  /edit,  checked a few of 'em out, they can be opened up without Photoshop installed just fine. A few of them you have to drag and drop the images onto the program/shortcut to load them outside of PS though (like with Analog Effex)

Here in the UK Apartments with 2 floors are called maisonettes.  I lived in the top one nearest the camera for a few years. Was basically like a row of houses built on top of another row pf houses.  Access by stairs and front doors on the balcony for the upper one

Looks sweet :) Wouldn't mind living in one of those, but that anything remotely similar would quadruple my rent, and there's no way to quadruple my earnings :D

My flat/room (it's a typical bachelor flat, so it's kitchen, bathroom and slightly-bigger-than-average single room) currently looks like a librarian's nightmare: books everywhere, some dirty with dust, some still in bags, nothing sorted neither by author nor by theme, not mentioning language - some that were unavailable translated, I got in English instead. I wrestled through my manga collection, but I'm again tired by just looking at the regular books. How not to love depression *grumbles while preparing evening dose of meds* Oddly enough, I'm a bit less down than before da big breaking, so it's still all good, I suppose?

Yuck, hopefully not the salty Kerrygold? Real butter should have no salt, my grandma was sure about that - she was making her own butter and cottage cheese from milk of her own cows. Hand-milked, of course. Summer holidays in the country were full of such curiosities for city kids such as my brother and me :D

I watched tinker bell and the pirate fairy yesterday.  My mum was with me for parts but since we watched it at her dentist's office she could not watch the whole movie.  I could explain it looked like polygon hair verses dynamic.  Did not mention fibre mesh hair.  She was curious about the water scenes.  I was not sure exactly how it was made but my assumption was with either expensive software that they bought or they made.

i think Bryce can make water planes but doubt they are dynamic.  Wonder what Carrara can do?

i need to make a phone call.
