Very lovely
No, I'm on a Mac, I have no idea how to do that. Usually Macs are pretty safe. I think it sometimes happens on my iPad too. I'm on the iPad now, let's see...
Thank you :)
In this pic, she actually kinda reminds me of Kate Mulgrew. Very nice image!
@Daikatana, thanks. Yes I she does look like Kate Mulgrew. Genevieve is very versatile.
Agree with some others posting that she seems to look entirely different with different skins. Straight Genevieve with Ceridwen textures.
Wow, yes, that's amazing! Love it! I could play all day with Genevieve. Going to test out Nieve now.
Ugh. Deleted. Double post. Something weird going on with me and forum software...
@Storypilot "Here's my first render with Neive for Genevieve 7"
My congratulations. That is a truly wonderful render. Very inspirational!
Well, I have also started to mix Genevieve 7 (90% of her) with different shapes (morphs),
but it is easy to overdo and get some strange parts, like I did on the nose below.
By the way, it is a standard Genesis 3 female material rendered in iray.
After fixing problem with her nose (dialled down some of the morphs used) I have made some render tests of the same scene in iray
with different skins. All tests were rendered on GTX 1080 (GPU only) in the latest release version of Daz Studio.
I have used: Oleander hair http://www.daz3d.com/oleander-hair-for-genesis-3-female-s
and Retro Skirt http://www.daz3d.com/retro-skirt-for-genesis-3-female-s
Also applied Cornea Bulge 150% to her eyes.
First Pepper: http://www.daz3d.com/fwsa-pepper-hd-for-genevieve-7
Rendering Time: 7 minutes 48.87 seconds (1012 iterations)
Valiona: http://www.daz3d.com/valiona-for-genevieve-7
Rendering Time: 7 minutes 28.96 seconds (1160 iterations)
Halina: http://www.daz3d.com/fwsa-halina-hd-for-kalea-7
Rendering Time: 8 minutes 7.38 seconds (1049 iterations)
Taia: http://www.daz3d.com/fwsa-taia-hd-for-victoria-7
Rendering Time: 7 minutes 1.82 seconds (1008 iterations)
Priya: http://www.daz3d.com/priya-for-genesis-3-female-s
Rendering Time: 7 minutes 14.28 seconds (1058 iterations)
Opal: http://www.daz3d.com/opal-for-genesis-3-female with Priya eyes
Rendering Time: 9 minutes 49.58 seconds (1423 iterations)
One of the Opal eyes has strange artefact on it, that is why I have applied Priya eyes material
Oh wow, love the renders! I think Wonderland is right, she really does add something very interesting to the gene pool, just like George did. The mix with Alfride is stunning!
Thanks, Llynara.
This is Neive for Genevieve and she is great but takes forever to render on a Mac with CPU only so I got impatient and while the original is still rendering, I took a screenshot then did a bit of post to make it more edgy. I kind of like how it turned out. I love her skin, which I know will get much better when fully rendered...
Here's my take on Genevieve 7. Just pure G7 except for using Macro Eyes Black-Brown. Also I mixed the make-up so she didn't have black lips. Finally, I've found a character worther of Syyd Raven's UltraGenesis-Expressive expressions. I'm really glad I got her.
Some more expressions. I can really see her as a hard-hitting journalist from the 40's or 50's when women didn't do such things...
Neive straight render converged to 98%. I like her skin but the makeup didn't come out as sparkling as I was expecting and her irises seem shaped a bit odd and I'm not thrilled with the eyes, but those are easy to switch out.... I heard there is no such thing as 100% converged, it just goes on forever, but maybe you need that extra time to make the makeup sparkly?
Lighting was a straight pre-set from Colm's Hi-Key Render Studio and there are weird glowy things around the neck, not sure why. Anyway, I wonder if different lighting is needed to make the makeup sparkle?
Genevieve 7 is really a beauty and adds something to every different skin I put on her. Here she is 100% Genevieve with Ariana from Rendo. Also, was not a fan of N.G.S. Anagenessis 2 - Revolution shader but really loving it now.
Interesting(ish) insight into customer preference on the Genevieve 7 options, according to the "Trending Now" and "Most Popular" store views.
The Pro Bundle is clearly the most desirable, closely followed by the individual figure. The two are still doing well on the front page of both views. But the Starter Bundle is down on page 4 of "Most Popular", and all the way down at page 21 of "Trending Now".
[these positions are dependent on 60 items per page and "hide items I own" unchecked.]
["Trending Now" is subject to large fluctuations, position correct at this posting]
Looks great, ALLIEKATBLUE, and the outfit is interesting.
The standard pricing of bundles tend to make any of the Pro packs a better deal than the starter pack -- if one can manage to meet the price of the Pro pack. Particularly if one wants anything from that in addition to whatever is in the Starter pack.
Beautiful! I LOVE the way she looks so different with different textures!
I did not like my original render of Genevieve with the default skin, but I always like the challenge of making a bad render better, so I decided to make it arty with a somewhat painterly look in Photoshop, and now I kinda like it!
really nice!
Having dropped to page 46 earlier, the Genevieve 7 Starter Bundle is now back on page 1 (due, partially, to my purchase). Won't last long.
(yes, it's a dull evening and I'm having trouble getting off to sleep)
Genevieve 7 with skin from Jilleen for Genesis 3 Females by 3DSublimeProductions and Sabby
@Artini really nice render. Hair adds somrthing different
Yes, I'm constantly amazed how different she looks with different skin textures. I don't think I've ever noticed this with any other character. V7 always seem to look like V7 to me.
Thanks for the comments.
I have used Fabiana light setup, which automatically parents the lights to the head and I find it very convenient,
if one need to change the pose later, because the light setup follows the head movement.
This character is really a chameleon! She changes drastically with each texture! And I figured out that if you make her smile first before other expressions, you can make sure the teeth don't get distorted. This is straight Genevieve with P3D Morgane skin with just longer lashes, larger irises and expressions. Genevieve is definitely my new go-to character!
Here the second image shows conclusively she does NOT have a ridge on her nose, that must have been in the original texture, not in the morph, as were all the wrinkles. She looks much younger depending what texture you give her. This is the same as the previous image but turned her head to get a front view to see if there is a notch on the nose. I turned off limits on the eyes for the previous pose and forgot to change that, so it's my fault the eyes look wonky. And as it turns out, she has nice teeth. I was just over-morphing before. I'm really liking this versatile character!
