    Ooh, thanks for the heads up on the freebie. I finally caved and got the base for Darius 7 and the Pro bundle for Leo. I had the other pro bundles already.

    A couple more good deals to be had from various featured PA's today: Mistress Arachne for G3F is gorgeous and fairly new. So is the Darcy Hair. Some older hairs and outfits at great prices too. I wasn't sure about the Milen Hair till I looked at the promos. That's cool and very versatile. The 70s Romper looks like fun. I bet Monique 7 would look great in it.

    Thanks for the tip. I don't have any of those, because the promo images don't really show them off very well. It is hard to tell what they would look like on a real garment or prop. Do you have some renders to show off? I'd love to see them in use.

    I have them all, and I can recommend them, I use them all the time. You will need a good internet connection to download them though, each product is a GB or more.

    Have you tried taking each out and putting it back in to see which one is doing it?

    I find Metal Abounds often needs some work to tone down the displacement and adjust the size of the patterns.

    It doesn't take too much to decide.  So many of them are textures for something else, something that I don't have or don't want...if the original item were in there, I'd grab one or two.  I'll look it over to see what I want.  After about a half dozen pages, I kind of start fading, though.   blush

    Hmm, interesting! I wonder if that was something broken that was fixed (because of this thread probably, again.) I think a few people did it earlier with no problem here.

    I purchased mine seperately for a different reason- I wasn't sure if I wanted the Darius 7 Pro package or the base + Leo 7 Pro. I wanted to wait and figure it out. Instead, I got Fringed Elements textures with the freebies. With the discounts, I think it was $1.49.

The first thing I did was change the sort order, setting it to "High-Low Price." Then I skimmed the listings for things that weren't textures for another product. I ended up with a lot of food things, like Sushi and Diner Food. I also found several animal models. I'm not big on dinosaurs, but I saw a number beasties in the list. There are actually quite a few props in that list, too. )I think I added one texture item, for something I actually owned. But I ended up using it last night for my Ozichick purchase to get Cian free... Paid about $2.50 for it.)

    Once I had determined the items I'd be most likely to want if the freebies kept coming, I created a bookmark folder for them, and put bookmarks for each item in the folder. When days 2, 3, and 4 arrived, I just opened pages from the list I'd already made. (I also delete them from the list, once I've purchased them.) Assuming each day adds one more to the count, and that the week before Christmas ends this Friday, day 7, there will still be several items on that list, so it's not perfect. But deciding which items to grab for free takes a lot less time when I'm choosing from a short list. I recommend it.

    I started doing this last night when I was waiting for the store to rollover too. Makes it much simpler when you have that waiting list of your most wanted items (and the coupon worked before the store had even updated, though I didn't buy anything til later.)

    For a bit of perspective, I have to say, in over a year I've never seen any other sale, not March Madness nor Black Friday, offer anything like what this Holiday sale is. The regular discount banner + the new secret orange banner growing ever more insane by the day, combined with all the other discounts from day to day and now.. potentially as many as 14 freebies of your choice if not more? When the freebie list first came out I was thinking 'oh no, how am I going to narrow this down to one or two items?' but now I have at least ten of them.

    It's a matter of choosing the BEST items from the thousands of free items.

    For me shader packs are always worth significantly more than random outfits or outfit textures - do I want a couple of textures for one outfit, or hundreds of materials for any surface I feel like? Normally it would obviously depend on the items but at PC+ pricing that's a monstrous amount of value. At free when you're getting now 4-5 items free every day it's even better value.

    intended or not, every single day there is something wrong. I can understand "from time to time" at the max, but EVERY DAY!!!! damn!!! The customers can't be held for responsible. So, my policy now: if it is written, it should work as intended: Cian = new, the rest (5 free) work as intended. that's it. I'm really fed up of all this lack of professionalism making erors on eorros every day.

    I made that realization too. Had a bunch of textures for outfits in my free basket, then I went, "Wait... I can do the same thing this outfit texture does, and more... if I get a good shader and just do the work myself..." 

    Even though they're on deeper discount than the outfit textures, I think the shaders are really the more bang for your buck. I picked up the Homestyle Iray Shaders today... over 1GB of shaders... Hoping the other shaders remain in the list and there is another day of even more freebies tomorrow. I'll be very sad if this doesn't continue all the way to Christmas the way it has been progressing... it is very generous of DAZ. In the meantime, wanting to get that 1 extra free item encourages me to buy one inexpensive Still New item a day... I got a $30 gift card from my Brother-in-Law for Christmas - and I'm already burning through it. :D

    Don't know how since it allows a user to get some pretty sweet deals from time to time. I find the sales work as advertised more times than not, so I enjoy it when I can get a better deal on something from time to time, makes it more fun and less calculated IMO.

    This sort of worked for me, but I screwed up and did things incorrectly. It cost me the full price for Cian and cost Ozichick her item because I refused to buy it when I found I'd already bought Cian at full price.

    It also seems to have raised the price for the pirate sword from $2+ to $4+ unless I'm misrembering the price. So to get 5 items I probably won't get much use out of it cost me at least $10.

    I am a highly unhappy customer.

    I think I have most, if not all of those shaders already (I need to check.) I've been getting textures for outfits that are either difficult to shade by hand or were on my wishlist anyhow. Tomorrow I may finish my Regency collection. Plenty from that group in here!

    That is the downside of shaders... they don't always seem to work out right on the things I want to use them on. 

    I may pick up some of the outfit textures if the deal continues. There are so many things to choose from... I've got a feeling DAZ knows in the long run wishlists increase and so do sales because of promotions like these. 

    I can't see how anyone could be upset because they didn't get the BEST deal for free - I've made a couple of decisions I regreted during the course of this sale - but overall... I still got more stuff for less money than I would have gotten if the sale hadn't have been so incredible. Beyond that, I agree - the mistakes the DAZ marketplace makes most often SAVE me money by my count. If anyone is getting the short end of the stick in the pricing mistakes that happen in the market, it is DAZ and the PAs, not the purchasers, in the grander scheme of things. 

    I wish Best Buy and Target and Fry's would make the same kind of pricing mistakes in my favor as often as DAZ does.

    There is a problem with Esha's dresses ( from the Christmas Week Bonus Selection) not working for the freebies.

    I tried with  http://www.daz3d.com/rovescio-for-v4 and http://www.daz3d.com/levante-suit-for-v4. Replacing them with other item (not from Esha) from the Christmas Week Bonus Selection worked!
