    Those of you who picked up The Urban Sprawl 2 - The Big City in the sale...has anyone downloaded and installed it via Smart content? I've had it for ages and installed it and I just looked at it then...there are NO files at all showing in Smart content. I'm going to put a ticket in but wanted to check if it's happening to anyone else?

    I found a listing for the set in Lost and Found....but there are no files. It's empty.

    I always follow these steps:

    - DIM: download n install files.

    - Open Daz and log in, if the files' icons are "grey", simply double click them to update smiley

    I'm not quite sure about that hmmm ...

    But sometimes products dled and installed via DIM are still grey in Smart Content, so I have to double click them to make it work.

    Installed content should not be grey - if it is then there was a failure to communicate between DIM and the CMS or the CMS and Daz Studio. If you close DS before opening DIM and vice versa that could be the root of the problem - the CMS could be shutting down still from closing the one when the other opens, leading to the CMS' not being restarted.

    It is my understanding, Connect will install from the DIM files, but installs to the Connect directory. I don't really know, as I don't use Connect, but that is what I remember reading... (But I've been proven to have a faulty memory...)

    Well, on advice from daz, i uninstalled it and reinstalled it (both via connect) and hey presto, hte files are now there! No idea why that happens, but it's fixed now.

    I managed to pick up David 5 Pro for $10 today. I've held back on discussing how because I didn't want to ruin it for anyone else who might discover it on their own.

    Thanks. I just picked up the extension for Opera. smiley Yeah, this sale is tricky. Not only the coupon thing but the prices seem to be in flux as you can get one price in your cart and have it change within hours of checking it.

    Ah, I see. That was kind of an expensive bundle and I wasn't really interested in the items in it, so not really worth it for me. But that's a good deal if the bundle is something you wanted anyway. :)

    Repurchase it with the coupon and submit a help request to return the first purchase. Even though it shows as Purchased on the store page, you can click on Purchased and buy it again.

    Doh!  Missed it (and can't afford another new item). Guess it serves me right for checking out too soon.

    Edit: Actually not free for me - they come down to $0.50 each or so - guessing your loyalty bonus is higher than mine.  Still a great deal, but I don't *need* them ;)

     

    I was so excited to see Zev0's store on sale - picked up Aging morphs and Fit-control for G3M (already have the G3F version - very handy).

    With the Growing Up morphs I already got, I can now make characters from little kids all the way up to old-folks :)

    But you just said you did it, which means it's easy for them to check your order and see what you did.

    It's also fairly simple to just have someone check all orders for anything weird and work off that rather than reading every forum post just in case.

    Great discounts today, but you can only use one coupon in the cart at a time? Can't seem to apply the second without the first coming off. I can't remember the last time there were two coupon codes out at the same time, so never tried before.

    Not entirely sure why Kanzashi Hair has so many required products either. Need coffee!

    Just picked up the Alieta Sprite Bundle for $4.56 a couple of hours ago...I don't know if it's still in effect.  I was only wanting the hair but couldn't pass up the deal.  It was in my cart with the new Kanzashi Hair deal and Mad Spirits pose pack...all for $11.32 with the Holiday bonus at 15%.

    Yeah, that Sprite Bundle was too good to pass up- a character, a hair and an outfit for $4, and it's fairly new- maybe a few months old? I got Aeron for G2F for $2 and Joline and Aibell for G3F even less! That's crazy, they haven't even been out very long. Dark Raven Reloaded for V4 is around $6. I don't think I've ever seen it on sale before. HinkyPunks is in the sale too. John Crow for M4 comes out to under $4 with all the discounts.

    Definitely some great buys today! 

    NOTES:

    • Looks like new PC+ items alone are not triggering the 70% off for the vendors on the Holiday Touchup sale page. If you get a new PC+ item and the new Kenzashi hair, it will. Noticed this when I went to use the second coupon and wanted to put a PC+ item and a Hinky Punk in there. Works with higher priced new releases, but not the PC+ ones. 
    • Looks like both coupons are one time use only. It doesn't state it on the DAZ-UNIVERSE one, but I can't seem to use it again.

    Diva- Thanks for posting that. I figured that page had to be messed up somehow. Who creates hair that depends on 5 other hairs?

    The Kanzashi hair actually qualifies as a "holiday new release" so if you grab a PC new release for cheap, you'll get the Kanzashi hair for cheap also....and Kanzashi counts towards that 70% off the artists at the bottom http://www.daz3d.com/12-15-holiday-touch-up#artists70
