  • They must've fixed the 95%...It's working now.

  • I mean, you can always get Dyetrying's morphs from ShareCG and spin your own morphs into almost anything that you want... it is just a matter of how much time you have and trial you want to invest in getting the look you want.

The people who do this are artists. They want to get paid. I don't think it is unfair for them to charge us. There is almost ALWAYS a cheaper or free way to achieve basically the same goal.

But I use Photoshop... not GIMP... for a reason.

I absolutely LOVE Die Trying's 182 Morphs for G2F!  I haven't tried yet...But, I hope to use GenX2 to port these to G3F if  Sickleyield hasn't already done it.  I could and did get by with just those morphs for character creation for about a year, before adding other creation tools and merchant resources.  It really is an amazing set for FREE.  Thank you, Sickleyield and DieTrying!

I just converted some morphs from V4 to G2 to G3 using GenX2 . First time I tried that, and it worked really well. It is awesome having your favorite morphs on all the generation of models.I've converted entire characters across generations too, and that has generally worked fairly well, too. GenX is a great tool. I'm starting to get the hang of how to do it and get the results I want.

I had the same experience with DieTrying's morphs. Even now, I use the morphs with the purchased characters to dial in a more custom look. They're one of the best pieces of free content out there. They're also available for L3 and a couple other characters, too.

There's two other ironman13 products that do this also:

These show up as -70% in the catalog listings and get the additiona "featured artist" discount with a new release. Bit hard to follow what stacks when, etc, but watch for things that are -60/-70% off in featured artist catalogs to uncover nifty things like these. ^_^

Does the BANZSL product work as a new release? I remember getting the neighbourhood bar for lower than that last night.

  • It does right now, yes.
  • Throw in the Ron's Waterworks PS brushes for a super discount on that, too...

I hate to complain, what with all the great deals and freebies, bogos and all, but... DestinysGarden's and InaneGlory's co-released products aren't stacking correctly. Without a new release, these products should show a 70% discount in the catalog, (just as the i13 poses mentioned above do,) and with a new release, the discount should be 80%. That's before any loyalty rewards discount is applied. But all the products they released together are showing only the 50% discount DestinysGarden is getting with today's sale. In the cart, along with my loyalty rewards discount of 25%, they're only coming to 75% off. (Should be 85%.) I can't even figure out what dicsount is being used to stack with DG's and mine to get that.

I suppose I can just check out and contact Customer Service to get the difference credited... It's not like DAZ isn't going to get that money one day or another. lol... But hopefully someone who can do something about it will read this and get it fixed, so the poor CS department will have fewer tickets to deal with come Monday morning.

If you've got 2 new superhero releases and the Top Model Bundle, plus holiday banner, there are some really great deals to be had. A lot of ruined city items and G2 supersuits for $1-$3. Pose sets for around $3. Plenty of freebies too. I chose The Last Stand and got the motorcycle at the 95% off. Also got the DG Holiday fabrics with her Iray FX Props and Shaders for about $5.

I've had some of the superhero and destroyed stuff on my wishlist for a while and was thrilled to pick them up at these prices. They'll come in handy for the massive prison break I'm rendering for my next book, Kat & Mouse. Should be fun!

GenX2 is such a great thing. I only wish they were permitted to transfer HD morphs. I've transferred HD morphs and it seems to make a LITTLE difference, though...

But, yeah, it's really given me a lot of power to move morphs all over the place.

I just wish it wasn't so crazy expensive. In order to use the Genesis 3 genX you have to have THREE different products (Genesis Generation X2, GenX2 AddOn for Genesis 2, and GenX2 AddOn for Genesis 3). All three products comes up to $63 and as far as I can tell they hardly ever go on sale - and when I have seen them go on sale since I started watching them, they don't seem to discount very deeply. I really wish there was a product that would do that without buying three different products and spending so much. Ah well, I'm sure eventually they will get a really deep discount ...maybe. lol Or maybe someone will come out with a product that will do it without having to buy two additional products. ...Maybe. lol Hey, I can dream.

I seem to recall a tutorial on here someplace for DIY morph transfers, though when I tried the eyes and mouth didn't transition so well.

It is a lot of money, but it's probably one of the biggest bangs for your buck (IMO), because it exponentiates figures, and lets you do things just... not possible otherwise. For example, if I want to make a male figure with succubus geografts, that's normally impossible. But now I can migrate over male morphs.

It's on a relatively short list of items I use very frequently (along with Aging, big morph packs, and Anagenessis)

I didn't buy the base and AddOn for Gen2 until they were on sale. Seems to me it was a decent discount, but I don't remember what I paid. I bought the AddOn for Gen3 when it was a new release. I don't have any generation 3 figures, so I didn't get any of those addons. I can see how it would really add up to buy it all at once, especially if it's not on sale. But it does go on sale.

Yeah, I've heard great things about the product. I'm really looking forward to getting it (or a product that can do the same thing). :) I have some lovely V4 characters that I'd really want to be able to use - as the weird joints and kinking issues with a lot of poses makes it hard to use them without a lot of post work. I'm very much looking forward to being able to get those great looking character shapes onto G3F! :)

Thank you for the recommendations - I do need to get the Aging morphs and Anagenesssis too. I fianlly was able to get the morph packs (at least for G3F, I still need them for G3M). I'm keeping and eye on the other products for the future. :) As I agree, I think those will go a LONG way in character creation. :)

I'm definitely keeping an eye on it. I have some really stunning V4 characters that I don't really use much due to the kinking on the joints and they often just don't look as good posed as the genesis 3 figures - but I know they would look great converted to genesis 3. I'm really looking forward to it! :)

The store gave me more savings on the Fisty-Darc item I bought to get their free earrings.  With a new release plus Fisty-Darc's Fabric Basics Mix and Match for Iray  regular price is $19.95 less 60% less 30% Loyalty =  $5.59 ($19.95*.40*.30).  I was charged $4.47

I had a similar discount abnormality with a AprilYSH purchase to get her free BANZSL sign language hand poses.
