Ah, then those Mec4D shaders might come in handy!
@cdpro_2831bbd990 is right that Vol.2 of Mec4D's shaders is perhaps the most versatile. But don't overlook the 'micro patterns' and the scaling presets included in Vol.1. They're extremely useful to have on hand, because you can combine them with other shaders, for instance to make meshes at any size. (You can also set the relevant scaling parameters in the shader by hand, of course, but the scaling presets make it super-easy, so they're nice to have).
I'd be jealous of that 25%, but I can't help wondering what they spent to get it; so, on balance, I'm happy with my 10%

I have all three of Mec4D's PBS shaders and use all of them. Vol 1 shaders were created in a way that you combine them to get the effect you want. However, there isn't a manual to clearly explain how that works, though there are some graphics in the commercial thread on it. Vol 3, on the other hand, are essentially one-click solutions. And they are different than Vol 1. The fact they are also a merchant resource should not deter you from buying them. The micro-surface settings are different between the two, and I frequently find myself using the metal shaders from Vol 3 with micro-surfaces from Vol 1, and vice versa.
I'm totally in love with the Ancient Room, and delighted it comes with the food and table settings! That's a welcome change. I think the Elven Prince outfit looks a lot better on the females, personally, and I'm not in the market for another outfit that is only hiding the breast by pure magic, double-stick tape, or super-glue. (Yep. I'm an old fuddy-duddy.) I won't be getting either bundle, but the Ancient Room is going through checkout before the intro discount disappears.
I picked up several IDG products yesterday, at the 85% off. I just couldn't decide between them, so I got all three I had in my cart! lol
I get 25% off... but it's not an addiction. No, it's not. Really. It's a necessity. Right up there with food and shelter.

Genesis GenerationX2 is on sale now. It's 60% off with purchase of a new release. It's under the 2014 featured top releases for wednesday.
With a new release, Urban Sprawl 2 is coming in with a big discount (I paid under $4 (incl. 10% loyalty bonus)) - seems to be listed under 2014 and 2013 sales, so maybe it's an odd stack.

The "houlie goulie christmas" stuff - i'm not getting 60% off Wee Dangerous John's catalogue, and I have two new releases in teh cart...the country girl outfit and it's textures...which have also lost their discounts.
I had the WDJ freebie in my cart, along with 3 more items from his catalog all day yesterday, with the freebie acting as the new release. I was a good girl, and waited for the PC+ items to hit the store before checking out. But now WDJ's catalog isn't getting the discounts applied correctly. I'm seeing 50% off on two of the items and only 40% off of one. Even with a new release in the cart!
yep exactly. Just lost their proper discounts. Im giving it an hour or so, in case the new releases hitting the store has borked it - which happens all the flippin' time, to tell the truth - then I'm sending in a ticket about it. This just gets more and more ridiculous.
Wee Dangerous John's store has no discounts applied to it at all (the non-new ones I mean) His store is supposed to be 50% off all non-new items. You got the 60% if you buy a new release. So now his store does not have the correct discount at all, and I'm about to dump my cart contents.
I'm still seeing the wrong discounts in my cart, though. I had a few other things I wanted to get, like Urban Sprawl 2, so I just removed those four items from my cart and checked out. I've heard a lot about Garibaldi, but I'd already purchased Look At My Hair. At $5.99, I'm willing to check it out, even if it doesn't work in Iray. (Yet, hopefully.) After I checked out, I put those items back in my cart. I can wait. Either they will get it fixed, or I'll buy it all anyway and submit a ticket.
Hey! I just noticed the discount for the new item is wrong in that screenshot! lol It's a DO and 51% off before my loyalty discount. Showing up in my cart now at 63% off. Much better.
Yeah, the discounts are not working on several of the sales going on right now. I'm going to wait a bit before deciding if I'm just going to say "screw it" or not. lol Too many sales not working properly lately - kind of burning my bottom, as I spend too much time getting all the sales and items gone through and deciding what I want and then loading my cart only to find that most of the discounts are not applying properly.
Wow, quickly checked out with this in case it was a glitch. (This includes the 30% holiday discount)
My discounts on that cart aren't as deep as yours, but they're comparable... 88% overall.

A lot of other discounts are also missing Superhero 20135-2915, 2016 top sellers from a lot of the different sales including Party like it's Hot, Patty Cake, etc. Also discounts are missing from some but not all items from featured sellers such as Smay and Ironman
I noticed that too. Can't remember which ones, coffee is slow to kick in this morning. Some good deals on PerspectX and First Bastion sets with a new purchase, many for around $5. The new PC+ releases count towards that, and there are some very nice ones. Don't forget the free Christmas Cookies that just came out today!
I'm excited to finally see a courtroom in the Daz store! Can really use that to render scenes from my first superhero book, where I have an illusionist on trial for making his brother disappear- permanently. The Alley deal doesn't look bad, but I already have a few. The George Hair Set looks fun and kind of freaky. Might be a great tool for those more unusual renders!

I'm not a big fan of George HD, (probably the only one!) but he's discounted 70% right now. With my Loyalty Discount, he's showing at $3.00 in my cart.
Thanks for the tip! I haven't really jused the micro patterns. I'll be checking those out very soon. Honestly, I could really use an in depth tutorial on shaders and how to combine them.
It seems like I spend more and more of my day fiddling with Daz Cart discounts... I had 4 items that I finally decided to buy last night but wanted to wait until the new PC items came out today. I woke up fo find that all 4 of those items had doubled in price in my cart. What's really weird about it is that all of those sales were still in effect. So clearly, the calculation must've changed. None of even those doubled prices were terrible. But, it really made me lose interest. I ended up dumping the cart and getting a few other items that I wanted today. So, they still got my money. ;)
I couldn't pass on Urban Sprawl 2 at less than 4 bucks. That's a huge set for that kind of money. I just hope it plays well with Iray. :)
I keep wanting to buy the As You Wish genie bundle. But, they've had it listed in the bundle discount since Saturday and it never has had the correct discount applied. So, I finally gave up on it today. It's not really a priority...was just hoping for a bargain.
I agree, cdpro! I'm spending way too much time (and money) on these sales too. I can't even remember what it was I wanted that wasn't working. Instead I picked up a few great deals (like that Urban Sprawl 2) and decided to be done for the day. I put the rest back. It can wait. I have enough at this point. I like that As You Wish Bundle too. Eventually I'll get it. Finally picked up the Ranger G2F Bundle today for $4 and am thrilled with that.
If you have enough money to buy something and wait a day or so for a refund, you can buy something with the discounts wrong, then open a ticket with Customer Service. Take a screenshot of your cart before you check out, and get a screenshot of each sale that should be affecting the discounts. Then attach those screenshots to you trouble ticket. CS tends to be swamped, so if you do the math for them in your request, you may well see the refund faster. And if you don't want the refund to be store credit, let them know to credit to the account the money was originally drawn from, be it Paypal, or your credit card.
What I do, when I don't want to go the Customer Service route, is click on the link(s) of the wrong priced product(s) and open in a new window. Then I remove the product(s) from my cart and checkout with the items that are correct. After the sale goes through, I refresh the page(s) with the item(s) I took out of my cart and it (them) back in. (It sounds like more work than it is.) With issues like the one with Wee Dangerous John's catalog, it's usually fixed sometime during DAZ's workday.
I usually do my "shopping" shortly after DAZ Midnight, which is only 11:00 pm here. (Being a night person, the timing is perfect for me.) If the discounts are wrong, I'll wait to check out, (unless there is a deal just too good to be true, like Urban Sprawl 2!)

On checking my store credit balance, I just discovered that I was overcharged on my purchases this morning (George items and Urban Sprawl 2) so worth double checking those invoice emails.

I've made a habit of opening up the link to the order (the order number) on the confirmation page, thanks to so many comments like yours. So far, I've only seen a penny difference, but now if the cart screws up, I'll know immediately.
It was over $14, (due to the intro 30% off prices being missed out on the total; if had looked right in my cart at the time) but to be fair to Daz CS, they have already refunded me. It just makes me twitchy. I will, in future, do as you do and double check every time.
