I just picked them up with the Fringe new PC+ for just under $3....So, it's still working. Make sure you have a new release with them...PC+ works fine.

Is it easier to have someone sit and go through EVERY order invoice looking at each individual item on each invoice for pricing discrepencies...
Or easier to have someone read through every post on a thread designed to share tips and tricks on how to best leverage sales?
(On a forum you have people moderating, anyhow, already...)
And... even with my invoice, I had to do some sluething around to get the discount to work. It was rather interesting, the combination that triggered it. Seeing it happen in my invoice and *making* it happen by recreating the cart were two different matters. I imagine most of these accidental deep discounts happen this way - there are some sort of if-then conditional triggers that have weird interactions that aren't easy to figure out in order to fix... I bet.
So... on the latest two day, one use only RDNA giveaway...
Sometimes I think the DAZ shop is just one big psychology experiment.
Do I jump now and use it on one of the most expensive, newest arrivals in that category?
Or do I wait because the list of eligible items changed the last couple of times and items that were more interesting to me were added?
Or do I not wait because I also saw that the last time eligible items changed, things that I was interested in disappeared...

I did just start paying a lot more attention to scene lighting in my renders - although the truth is, with an i5 with a GT 750... I remembered why I tend to try and use only one dome or HDRI light in my scenes. 24 hours and not hitting the 15,000 iterations limit for a single render with 3 lights compared to an hour or two with a dome or HDRI light...

Did you try putting it in your cart? Kimberly for Genesis Complete was full price until I did. Then it was under $5 and I used the coupon.

Same here....And, if you want Skull Island Complete, it can be had with the new release and coupon for $6. You can put other stuff in the cart as well without it canceling out.

This is so true! Some days my brain hurts trying to figure out the discounts and choose stuff, when I probably shouldn't be shopping at all, LOL.
Vanilla Sky and Oxygen have been my favorite RDNA purchases. They're simply amazing, and transfer quite well to G2F.
Hm, I hadn't given those much consideration due to the V4 component (my V4 library is plenty large enough, lol) but this might make it worth my wild. Thanks for pointing that out!
Another reason why I have been asking for the CMS to be allowed to be configured with an external PostgreSQL database so that it can be configured as service.
For me, 90% of the items installed with DIM show grey under products but they just work fine. I guess the problem is compunded by the fact that DIM and connect install in different manner.
Again, shouldn't the CMS automatically sync up the local information with the latest available metadata the next time it starts up? Why not give one of the programs exclusive ownership of CMS. Say, only Studio manages the CMS and DIM only has access to file based metadata. Everytime the CMS starts up with the Studio it should check and sync with the file based metadata to see if that has newer entries. That way the whole contention for starting and stopping CMS can be eliminated between the two programs.
I used my DAZ-Universe on Skull Cove and didn't even consider that it was good on more than one item. Since it's a one-time-use (although not stated), wish I could get it reset and do a new cart adding in Kimberly and the Toon Generations Strange pack... Oh, well... It's a pain when you've missed stuff because you didn't check out fast enough, and then you lose stuff because you check out too quickly without testing everything.
That said, I had almost bought Skull cove in the morning, so was great to get another $5 off! And I can't complain about the deals I have gotten. My OCD just wants them ALL! ;)

I picked up the Kali bundle I'd been resisting, plus a few excellent pose sets by A_ that seem to go with the Art of Ballet sets. I've posted a few renders here in my RDNA Bundles thread.
They're even better with some Iray tweaks ;) Now that I think about it, I should run it through Anagenesis Revolution and see how it looks.
I find that V4 skins from RDNA are generally very good. I typically use them for G2F, or G3F if I pull out my converted G2F->G3F model.
That Kali bundle looks great. Unfortunately, it seems that they've already shut down the carts. I tried to check out and it sent me to Daz to register.
No. But you have to already have been registered on RDNA. then you can checkout.
For sometime now, if you weren't already registered on RDNA, you have been unable to register or checkout.
Oh...got it. I wasn't ever registered at RDNA. I just thought I'd check it out since you were mentioning the Kali Bundle...sorry to have missed it.
DS synching after launch is how the initial CMS worked, in DS3 I guess - the installer would place a run once script that would then load the metadata next tiem DS started. It was not an error free process.
I grabbed the Kali bundle. I was debating about it forever and decided to just go for it. Got the feathered masque recently too. Nightsong's work is beautiful. Too bad she didn't migrate over. The PA named "A_" also has some wonderful pose sets. I picked a few of those up as well.
I can see why. But then the safest approach would be to start the CMS as a windows service (maybe launchd for Mac) to be started and shutdown with windows. PostgreSQL is fairly lightweight and should not have a noticeable overhead even when studio is not running. That way no single program - studio or DIM will have any contention on its startup or shutdown and both can safely use it simultaneously.
The only restriction I see here is that it may require admin privileges to setup the windows service.
The Valentina database engine did run as a service - and there was much outcry over that.
I finally got my credit card fraud problem sorted out, got a new debit card, acount balance is fixed, loyalty rewards discount jumped from 5% to 25%, and...the item I wanted, Zev0's Fit Control for G3F, is no longer on sale, *sigh*. On the other hand I get paid on the 30th since the 1st is both a holiday and on a weekend. I may spend my entire DAZ budjet for January before January 1st, lol. That 25% discount is just too good to pass up.
