It does that all the time when items first go up.
The Matt and Megan bundle looks appealing for general shapes and useful toon outfits, but the product descriptions sound as though as usual, there are no separate body and head morphs. Anyone know if this is accurate? Kinda ruins the whole point of having a gene pool of characters when you can't dial in only a part of it.
As far as I could find out Konrad for Genesis is the last time 3D Universe did split morphs - his Genesis 2 characters have no PBMs ...

Just looked at latest stuff. Nothing I want that I don't already have, or have just as good.
If they'd offered "Movie sets" for the suburbs (#28 or so) I would have bought them all. I've been wanting low poly suburbs, but so far no joy.
There seems to be a bug in todays Sale.
I13s "Own My Own" Stuff should be in the "Still New Section" since they also where released on the 21st.

Also good that there are guides for making your own separate morphs, but seriously... I don't expect all characters to be on the level of features that Star 2.0 comes with (which outstrips every other character by miles in terms of morphs and additional bits) but separate head and body has been a baseline expectation for a long time now.
Well, Star (& probably Star 2) works great for Miraculous Ladybug; I can see Megan working well for Alya Cesaire.
Wow, they really are perfect for them.
I stopped checking out their characters because they don't do it; bought em once, not any more.
Not fixed yet, but Customer Support told me to buy it and they will refund the difference.

The banner just begins 'As a significant participant in this year's PA festival, we want to offer you our thanks.... etc, etc'. I didn't mention it for two reasons, firstly because it makes me uneasy mentioning that I got an offer based on what I've spent, because I know there's a good chance that some of the people who didn't get the offer didn't spend much because they weren't in a position to - it's not nice being broke and then finding out that you're missing out twice because of it. Secondly, I feel uncomfortable with the significance of my participation as this just says to me that I must have spent a sight more than I intended to, despite trying to keep costs down. And yes, I took advantage of the offer anyway and my participation just got $26 more significant because of it. *Sigh...
Reading the tone of this thread during the PA sale, there haven't been that many active participants that are posting here. Mostly it seems like there have been 1-2 purchase days per person tops.
I can see the intent and usefulness of the orange banners (though I'm pretty sure I've only taken advantage of a tiny percentage of them personally) but the downsides are kind of gross too. It encourages buying "just in case I get something for it later but probably I won't" which is obviously stupid, and once people compare offers some feel they missed out simply because they didn't know the offer would be there and feel bad about that. The only way to try to counter that is to forbid anyone from talking about the offers, which doesn't help the community and turns people against Daz for being overly controlling. It's kind of hard for anyone to win.
Hmm, I'm curious now. It sounds like its based solely on the current spending in the PA Sales Event, If thats the case, it must be a really high threshold to trigger. I added my invoices and already spent $321.98 just during this PA event, but it was in store credit, so maybe they don't count store credit since it was already money spent to them. Lame.
I haven't made anywhere near a purchase a day. To be honest, I didn't think I'd spent that much until I saw the banner, and it was probably only one reasonably big order that was responsible for it.
It occurred to me after my previous post that it might sound like I thought it was somehow icky to mention the offers. That's not really so, it's just the way I was brought up. The typical British reserve. 'Don't talk about money' (an attitude even more prevalent among those of us who don't have much of it :) ). I'm not bothered by anyone bringing up the subject of offers made to those who have spent more than others, it's just unlikely that person will be me :)
I'm not bothered by it either - the part that bothers me on a personal level is the idea that you're being rewarded for something you have no idea you were meant to do in the attempt to make you buy more in the hope of more banners.
However I and several others have had images of banners removed from the forums, so apparently screenshotting them isn't allowed, while talking about them seems to be fine. Personally I think it's better for the community when anyone can discuss anything and having a strong community leads to more buying of content, but that's just an opinion.
I've probably spent close to $150 or more on this particular sales event.... and that didn't qualify me for the banner it seems.
I've got the money - they just didn't have enough great items on sale to motivate me to spend more than that. But cheers to the people who spent enough to get this additional sale discount - and to the additional money that will leaving their bank account and going into DAZ's bank accounts because of that. Seriously, though... It looks like to get this offer I'm betting you've had to drop at least $200 on this particular sale, maybe more. If you're spending that kind of money on this sale - you deserve the little extra kickback.
I've just had a look at what I've spent and I was right in thinking it was more than I'd thought (nowhere near the $321 mentioned above though). If these offers are geared at urging me to spend more in the hope that I'll see another one to take advantage of, they're trying in the wrong approach on me. Nothing says 'It's time to rein it in a bit for the rest of the month' like the sight of a bright orange 'reward for being so spendy' banner :)

That's why I deliberately did not quote the banner, I said supporter of the sale, because I think "significant supporter" is very misleading. It could be the number of items, and not the amount spent, or just a random selection of folks (which knowing what I've spent, that's why I think it's just a random rotation of recipients.) It may have been triggered with bundle purchases and nothing else, who knows? And we all know they rotate the banners throughout the shoppers, even when I DO spend a lot, sometimes I'm not in the banner recipients. There'll hopefully be more banners with different people selected, it's only the 23rd!

So then they don't count store credit as money spent, I guess that makes sense as it is already discounted money.
The bigger concern for me was that an adblocker or something installed might be blocking orange banners for me. Its been a while since I've seen an orange banner, thought Ive seen quite a few in the past. And I have some scripts installed in my browser recently, so hopefully I'm not blocking it somehow. It would be nice if they gave a PM as well, but if I remember in the past, the only indication you get is the orange banner and once you close that banner you don't have any other indication.
I doubt the requirement was purely based on money spent. I have spent close to 300 this month, and did not get a banner, but the bulk of that money was on older items, so if you had to spent X number of dollars on new items, I am likely to have missed that. I also think there is an element of randomness in many of these offers so DAZ can measure the effect. Overall it is not really worth worrying if you miss out on these things.
If you go to your dashboard in your account, there's a place where you can see messages. You can always check there in case.
I've just had a look and the offer is in my messages under the 'Exclusive Offers' tab, so if an adblocker has stopped you seeing it then you should find this one in your messages too.
Looking at old orders makes it very difficult to see what your total spend has been for a period of time and what you paid for individual items. That annoys me. I can find out the total spend through other sites, but the way the invoicing works, once the sale is done you can't go back and actually see that the discounted price for M4 in the basket was $4.95... you just have to remember that is what you paid.
For example, my last purchase shows $18.95, $17.95, $44.95 and $44.95 for a total of $85.08 with a discount of $66.63 for a total of $18.45...
But the individual discounts are not itemized.
