I like the demon and the cabin is pretty cool.
But this figure seems to be a unique figure not based on G3M, is that correct? So it won't mix with G3M?
Yeah, looking at the store page, it's a standalone figure
Haha
I didn't get it; from choice, sure cash is tight, but not impressed with many of the offers; especially the gift card sales. Currently wondering if I really want three items, just to trigger the extra discount on a gift card; needs to be $300 to be worthwhile, and if I decide to spend it here, it's not available elsewhere; bills are paid, budget sorted for the expected; some set aside for the unexpected (probably not enough).
lol, he has a bat and two balls.
I know just what you mean. I thought about the same things and asked myself if I'd be considering buying all the qualifying items right now if it didn't trigger a gift card discount. Given what I've already spent this month, I didn't even have to look at said items to know that the answer would be 'no'. I don't need 3D figures if I want to indulge in the 'horror' theme - just a glance at my bank account will do :)
The Blind Demon model looks interesting, but I'm not too sure about the textures. In some of the promo images, they look stretched/blurry in some places. Can anyone post some renders? Sixus1 definitely creates some unique creatures; if you haven't checked out his store over at the other store, it's worth a look. I think most, if not all were designed to work in Poser, so it's cool to have a character here built specifically for Daz Studio.
Okay, so today, there's the i13 Secluded Living Bundle, which is $23.37 @ 40% off, but you can get a Daz Original--in my case, I wanted Aiko 7, which I should've picked up when she first came out--for an extra 20% off (I'm in PC, so it's 30% off before that). I was thinking that, since the bundle includes 3 items, maybe it should count, tried it, and that's not the case. So I put each individual item in, and the total on those was $22.73 (yes, actually less), and then I get A7 at an additional discount. Guess it pays (or saves) to check. ;)
I've checked, and when I put those 3 items in my cart, I get 60% off on them...
But if I add a Pro Bundle Character like Ivan 7, Akio 7, etc, I get a 44% total discount on that item. (From $134.95 to $75.57).
I'm not sure how 30% PC discount plus an additional 20% discount = a 44% net discount. Is there something about discount stacking and real discount amounts that I don't completely understand?
70% times 80% = 56% which is a 44% discount.
Bank balance is ok, but spending when I'm not thrilled on two out of three of the items is a way of changing that.
I can wait.
The same isn't true of Daz, although I expect that many will have taken advantage.
... But what happened to the Card Sales that were less restrictive in the choice? Although this is at least better than the one a few days ago; zero interest then, at least today I considered it. $23 is great if I want the items. But it makes for an even larger payment when one doesn't.
Okay, love the whale... I wonder if I have a bowl of petunias model somewhere...
Woah, woah. That water looks amazing!
Digging the whale too!
Also, Sunny Pro snuck back into recent new releases.
Hmmm Decent stacking today. Not awesome but not bad.
At that price, the items in Sunny's Pro bundle comes out to $4.30 each.
indeed, truly amazing
I actually felt a bit seasick at one point when I was looking at the video on the water product page. I am trying to tell myself 'You don't need this. Really you don't'. Perhaps hubby will embrace the idea of eating a bit less this month if I let him sit at the head of the table and carve the noodle :)
BTW: New Releases wise I feel this was the best day of this PA Sale so far. Wishlisted or bought all of them.
Pan's Labarynth. YES!
I've been waiting all month for today. Zevo/DraagonStorm's Brow Remover is finally available! Plus DraagonStorm and Lyoness released Wow Brow and DraagonStorm released Instant Makeup, both products that work with Brow Remover. Woo hoo!
Also...
The banner ad says 68% for Featured Artists Catalogs. The sales page says 60% with new release purchase. So which is it? The banner also says "Today Only..." which would imply the 68%, as 60% with new release purchase has been the norm for the entire sale...
BUY 2 OR MORE "DEBUT" NEW RELEASES AND GET:
- An EXTRA 20% OFF* the Premier Artist Catalogs** below
The extra 20% probably multiplies to 68%,
Now how the heck did I miss that? I was actually looking for something like that and couldn't find it! Maybe it's time to call it a day and get some sleep...

Between the Brow Remover and the 68% off the catalogues it looks like I'm done for this sale (unless there's something extra special coming and unless the final catchup happens after Oct. 3 when my credit card resets). It's been fun... and the wishlist is a lot emptier, not just because I bought everything, but also as a result of a bunch of "if I don't feel like buying it at this price, I probably really don't need/want it after all" decisions
Was only interested enough in brow remover; down to my last tiny bit of credit, as the offers we've had haven't been tempting enough.
This is one of the best days of the PA sale as far as I'm concerned. LOTS of FWSA characters are $4 each if you buy two Debut items!
I think there are 54 of them at that price. Ahhhh Awesome!! I only got two of them as it's all I could afford, but if I had the money I would have nabbed a lot more at that price! Wow!
anybody stacking today?
I'm *this* close to adding the brow remover, but I'm not sure if I have an actual use case for it :(
I didn't get the brow remover as there is this wonderful little tool in Photoshop (CS6 or newer) called the "Patch Tool" that will remove brows in five seconds or less. There are only a few face textures that I would remove the brows on, so I don't see it worth the money (at least for me) to buy the brow remover when I can do it super fast in PS.
I bought the Brow Remover. I've wanted it from the moment Zev0 talked about it, even before it was a product, even though I have Photoshop and can remove the brows there. One of the advantages to the Brow Remover script is how it modifies all the image maps and in exactly the same way. It's an added bonus to be able to save the no-brow version as a material preset. I'm a happy camper.

I agree. I'm totally capable of photoshopping textures but the Brow Remover lets me easily define an area and then click go and not pay attention for a few seconds while it does all the maps for me and I really like the time saving and I think the results look great. Saves me a lot of effort - if I'm trying to quickly mock up a character design I don't want to be hopping back and forth between programs finetuning details if I can help it, and the products released yesterday let me get the brows/makeup I want quickly and easily which is valuable to me.
