Jep, noticed that - though for the moment, other things had priority... got A7, a few brushes and some more stuff - plus S7 to see how the facial articulation (or what it was called) is working out... I hope it'll reduce the need for expression-packs.

As for (newer) bundles, I'm only planning R7/K7 and eventually D5 at the moment - though there's still alot of stuff taking precedence over those. (Hmm wait, the Dragon3-bundle would make a lot of sense, too...

October is PC+ Sale.
I'm REALLY glad I've only bought two things during this month's sales. I'm hoping that will mean that hubby will let me spend more during the PC+ sale. lol
Only a week and half to go - I can't wait! :D
Last year it started "late", in the middle of October.

Just to be perfectly clear, the "platinum-sale" refers to the PC+ Anniversary sale. The emphasis will be on Daz products, especially the PC+ items. If you're not already a member, there will undoubtedly be discounts on membership. And if you're not a member, I can I can personally recommend Platinum Club.
well, dang. Todays' "90% off if you buy a new or still new release"....I own every single product there. :sigh: No 90% off for me.
I second that. When they say it "pays for itself" it really does. Not only are the PC+ items SUPER cheap (like 80%-90% off a TON of items) but you get like five additional freebies every month (a monthly PC+ freebie and an additional freebie every week). And then on top of that you also get the option to purchase a .99 cent item every week (with the purchase of a PC+ new item). The freebies alone are worth way more than the cost of the PC+ membership (particularly if you can get it on sale).
This is what I am hoping for. ;)

In the end I waited.
Just so I could play the game of loading the cart in various configurations, deciding most of it could go on the wishlist, filling the cart again ad nauseam ad infinitum. I may even check out with my current cart if I still like it in a few hours.

They got another $20 out of me when I was sure I was done until the end of the month. At a net of ~$5 per piece of content, I couldn't really say no.
The thing is, I was going to just buy one debut release, and then I realized with the 50% off price, if I bought two it would be the same price as buying one. The DAZ sales can be tricky that way, and you can shaft yourself out of a good deal by not realizing it is basically free to throw another item in the cart.
It isn't like at Macy's where the friendly cashier will point out to you that this is the case.
I wonder how many people haven't realized that it isn't one or the other, but BOTH figures that are free with a debut purchase, too.
Uh, no? It's 40% off if you get one, it's 50% off if you get two. So that's only true if the second item is 1/5 the price of the first item. ($10 item, $6 at 40% off, $5 at 50% off, second item could be no more than $1 at 50% off, or a base price of $2)
But, yeah, I was sure I was done. But getting Stephanie 6 and Josie 6 + one of the i13 sets all for $14 or so? That's ... awesomesauce.
(Normally with figures I go 'do I want to get a non-pro version?', but I am never, ever going to get S6 or Josie6 pro bundles unless they are free or pennies, so...)
I can always say no, seeing as there is always another sale just around the corner; besides, waiting for a good sale to buy something is both fun and cheap (well free).

See attached. 50% off on two items... they were normally about $18 and change each. They were just over $18 for BOTH of them in the basket... and Steph and Josie were free...
So, $20 spread out over 4 pieces of content is about $5 per piece of content.
But I agree with you completely on "never buying the pro versions unless they're giving them away, so for "free" for the non-pro versions... might as well. I think this has actually been one of the BEST values of this sale so far.
I was tempted too, but I don't really care about Josie 6 (I have 7 which I think is much improved.) I do however want the Josie 6 bundle, and I know if I buy some thing I don't really care about to get 2 free characters today, I'll never buy the pro bundles when they're finally on super sale. Or if I do, I'll have bought something today for no real reason since there isn't anything I particularly need.

I was just browsing through the forums trying to figure out why I don't get the weekly freebie notifications in a timely or consistent manner. I'm signed up for the newsletter that uh, I think ATI maintains... I feel like I've subscribed to the Fourm posts that notify about this... I always seem to miss the e-mail newsletter notifications...
But thanks for the heads-up... $20 for 5 items achieved! :) And I'm more interested in scenery, architecture and props like vehicles and furniture than anything else at this point - so old industrial interior is a great bonus for me! :)
Well, it depends on who is on your wishlist and how regularly you check it. I thought that what I was most excited about hadn't come up and, by chance, I dug around for a bit to remind myself of the artist's name and--low and behold--said artist was on sale that day along with the items that I had intended on getting. Of course...I ended up getting new stuff and passing on these older items because it wasn't clear if some of them would work as well in iRAY as they were designed for 3Delite.
I suspect DAZ is quite happy with the sales they are seeing despite all of these folks claiming they are saving tons of money. We haven't really had too many deals that weren't part of the regular sale so far and it's been several weeks now.
Hmm? I don't have a notification specifically for freebies. I have new sales alerts, fastgrab alerts, and wishlist alerts. A couple more in the works, data is being gathered for those, should be interesting, stay tuned. :)

Everything that was older than 60 days was on sale a couple of days ago, so unless your wishlist only has new items, you likely missed the time they were on sale.
Two days ago, 9/19, DAZ had a catch up sale. The only items not on sale are items released less than 60 days ago, but before the PA Festival began, (8/29.) There was a catch up sale on 9/8, too... You must have a really small wishlist, with only newish items on it. I think I envy you! My wishlist is sitting at 366, (and destined to grow over the next several months as I pay for a new computer instead of more content.)
On the other hand, if you merely missed the catch up sale, don't despair.
There should be another one before the PA Festival comes to an end.
