https://www.daz3d.com/collider-slime This product says it's "script based". Do we know if it works with DS 4, 6, or both?

From the description I think the script is just to set the colision up, which is basic property handling - I would expect that to run fine in DS 6.

Does anyone know where are the braziers+glowing coal on the 1st promo pic from?
I recognize the environment as a Stonemason product but that one has no such braziers next to the stepping stones.

Possibly from the Braziers set listed at the bottom of the page? https://www.daz3d.com/braziers

Those braziers are in vdb smoke trails 2 as well: https://www.daz3d.com/mmx-vdb-smoke-trails-02

Ahh, right, yes, thank you! Now it shows me a huge list of additional products used. Previously it had only one icon for some reason.
Looks like the coal inside has different shader than in the braziers product promo images.

The exquisitely arranged props are different from the artist's previous works, but I'm more interested in them. It seems that figures used as props are quite popular now. If the head and arms could rotate like a Lego minifigure, I would definitely buy it.

The little house is lovely; I might buy it just for the flowers.

One of my favorite character artists, with his unique style as always, which is really cool, although I'm not sure where to apply it.

I am not impressed with them, myself.

Aside from suspicions I have about how they might have been made, if something is purporting to be low resource assets, then having each pose and even each detail level being a wholly unique prop that needs its own textures (as is very clear in the file listing) is an extremely inefficient way to go about that.

If the exact same texture file is used multiple times in a scene, Iray only needs one copy of that file in its memory, but doing it like they have where each version has very-similar-yet-not-quite-identical armour/shields/etc needs separate textures to be loaded for each variant and is thus is going to push up memory usage by the tune of many hundreds of megabytes for the sake of variations no-one's going to notice if they're in the background.

Even if you didn't make it as an outfit for Genesis (in order to lose the overheads of loading a base with hundreds of morphs on it), doing it as a single posable figure that's consistently reusing the same textures would have been a much more resource friendly approach.

It is very much one of those things which falls into being unique, but which I really can't think of a use for within my established stuff other than maybe weird dream sequences.

That set cracked me up. Not sure I would ever use it, but I love the idea of a punk cat.

Circular pierciungs in the ears did strike me as a bad diea, claws would snag in them. An open shape, like the nose piercings, would be better.

The Daz House Cat is so mangy looking compared to Cat Zeus. But maybe that is what's needed for a Punk Cat.

I don't know.  Zeus has a LOT of attitude, and the Hivewire cat is a lot better as well, but they're not sold in this store anymore, so...  To be fair, though, the DAZ House Cat is the only one of the "original" set of DAZ animals that was never replaced by an actual new model, and it's amazing that it's still being used as the default feline 20-something years later even with the minor facelift it got a few years back.

i love this quirky approach https://www.daz3d.com/fool-foods-for-genesis-9  . The last two showcase pictures really made me chuckle. I know I will find a need for these foodswith or without hands and feet.

It is soooooo obviously nautically related too, from the colours, texture and cut. Ho hum. Not for my wishlist.

To be fair, there is a blue and white texture. That's nautical, right?

https://www.daz3d.com/polish-steampunk-explorer-transportation-bundle A beautifully crafted toy; the style is truly fantastic. I absolutely need it when creating Steampunk projects.

https://www.daz3d.com/pw-bank-gold-fish Added to cart. To be honest, I've always been concerned about the "heavy" feel of PW, but now I've finally found a way to easily render these luxurious buildings.

A truly high quality cat and dog from the Daz store would be amazing.  Even Cat Zeus could be improved, especially around the face and mouth.  That would be the quickest 'add to cart' I'd ever do here.

That was my first thought. Then I looked closer, noticed the PA and all the artifacts and issues, and it's a hard pass for me.

They have truly gone to every effort to showcase it on a wide range of different bodyshapes and in an absolute medley of difficult poses in order to fully demonstrate the quality and versatility of their product.

    (Sarcasm, if that wasn't obvious).

I'm really quite disappointed at the lack of actual showcasing of the product that goes into some products' promos. This at least manages to show us the back, but it's all the same figure shape in the same pose.

    A naughtycal outfit then?

Apparently, according to the current description (likely wrong), it's also very useful while raiding the caboose during the night:

When the lights go out and the kitchens close, a whole miniature world comes to life. Rivalries erupt, and battles for control of the stove begin, with no rules and no mercy. But they're not soldiers, and they're not heroes. They're just fool foods.
