The bundlicious bundle is updated to Bundlicious Bundle 2. Just like the first bundle, I own 9 of the 10 parts of the bundle. Oh well.

And the doorknocker freebie list is unchanged. No more freebies for me. I just don't do G8.

You mean the "free gift with a punch" list? Looks different to me...

It's all G8 figures. It's looks exactly the same to me. Useless. Just some G9. Some G3. Some non-figures. Something.

The G8 pose sets are easy enough to use on G9, loads of convertors and many are free.

Autofit of G8 clothes on G9 works fairly well, only 1 generation apart. Heck, even G8 clothes & hair on V3 (5 generations apart) works fairly well after a diy job on converting V3 to TriAx weight mapping and then a diy job creating an autofit clone.

    Regards,

    Richard

Yes, of course, if I saw them, that would be true. But in Content Library, I live in Genesis 9. There could something useful in Genesis 8.1 Female that I've forgotten. But I've forgotten it. Knowing I'll forget it, I can't spend money on it.

I do buy G3 stuff. G3 characters make good middle distance "extras" in my renders. There's also no G3 stuff in this section.

And if you mention Smart Content, you'll lose a lot of your cred I give you for your freebie work.

  • laugh Smart content is something I don't use - regardless of 'cred' considerations, really don't see a point to it. I organise my library into categories myself thanks. Don't use DIM either. And, because of the DIM requirement for downloading DS6, I don't have that. Or any web connection to my DS PC, for that matter. The position in my house precludes wi-fi (blanketed by 8ft of brick) and I can't run an ethernet cable under the concrete floors and tripping over them is not fun. So, probably very out of date.

    Richard

I didn't realize you live in Fort Knox laugh

  • Nahh. Just a Victorian brick house and the location means that the Wi-Fi goes at an angle through two 9" thick brick walls. Or doesn't as is more accurate.

    Regards

    Richard.

Have you considered a repeater where it does make it though (a bit).

My problem is I never knew there were categories for a years worth of overspending. My library is huge and I rely on smart search in content library (or just doing searching in the file system). Some day, I will tackle categories. But I'm not an organized person normally.

Yes, but I'm not bothered enough yet. It's nice having a machine where a random Windows update can't kill it.

You can also spend ages developing your own techniques for when you decide that auto-fit is not up to the job.

And in the name of that, I've fitted https://www.daz3d.com/gemini-warrior-outfit-for-genesis-8-female-s to G9, because I saw was in amongst the freebies and despite having had it for ages as part of the Charlotte bundle, I don't think I've ever actually used it

(And, conversely, fitting a G9 centaur armour back onto G8. But I'm not going to recommend that - although it is this: https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-armor-wild-hunt-centaur-bundle - because fjaa sets things up in a really unhelpful manner and I don't think I actually can recommend their products, even if they look good on the surface).
