  • 6:11pm Daz Time & I am still only getting a paid option, Barkley for G3M, with an SKU in the high 4xxxxx. Like @SilverGirl IME that is a low SKU for a free item & lower than my previous paid ones. And I have 3 punches, so I should have both options. (On my Samsung phone now, so third browser tried.) Off to open a ticket.

    There's also just the paid option for me, inspite my 3 punches, just for the record. I just checked in again now since we're about to go to bed, it's 2:30 in the morning here. Maybe there'll be some sort of making up for it in the morning. It's an anti-climactic ending for sure, but well. I got lots and lots of freebies through the calendar in any case, so I'll just wait and see then.

  • Hello, Everyone,

    Just a quick update. I tried several browsers on my laptop and phone, and I currently have only the paid option for the Advent Calendar and Tower of Solitude from the Nice List.  The Advent Calendar item is for an add-on texture to something that doesn't interest me.  Anyway, it's just a few minor glitches in an otherwise stellar event.  I had a lot of fun this month and I hope everyone will enjoy a wonderful, creative 2026!

    It is disappointing that Daz closed out the Advent Calendar with such a fizzle.

    At this point I have my fingers crossed for an orange banner tomorrow, given folk in other time zones would miss it due to (very reasonably) going to bed. 

    After all, if they're going to advertise a free item with punches, they should honor that claim.

    Yeah... I'm quitting for today, so, Happy New Year everybody. Hope they have some fix or compensation tomorrow, but, if not, whatever... I'm good. Thanks for all the gifts Daz, and I'm also happy with what I got during those December sales.

    Well it looks like my advent calendar is playing up as well, as even with 3 punches, I too only have a paid option. Got loads through the month though so I can't really complain! :)

    Anyway, it's now 3 in the morning here, and I'm off to bed. Happy New Year all! :)

  • I must admit I'm new to this (only got into Daz a month ago) so still getting the hang of things. Only bought something yesterday to keep the punches and all I've got in the calendar is a paid option for a model I dont own. Pretty disappointing really. Is this common for these kind of offers?

    I'm afraid Daz has not been able to sort out the Advent Freebies, it isn't clear why it worked for a few of you (mine never did, certainly).

    Welcome!! I hope your 3D art adventures bring you much enjoyment. Definitely suggest checking out the "Always Another Sale" thread to help you get the groove of things, what's a good deal vs. what's just advertised as one, how to best stack offers, etc. A lot of knowledge there and folk willing to share. Same with the rest of the board... lots of BTDT advice when you get stuck on making something work.

    To your question... yeah, unfortunately, sales around here rarely work smoothly right out of the gate, which is why there's this thread. Lots of missing or unclear terms & conditions or things just not functioning as they ought to. Sometimes they get fixed, sometimes not. Sometimes there's some form of compensation (i.e. targeted coupon code), but it's not something to count on.

    Welcome, and I hope you'll enjoy the experience, both rendering and shopping.

    As for whether it's common. In general, yes. With multiple stacking offers there's usually something that will break something else... Having said that, this year the calendar has been running extremely smoothly, and was set up the way that allowed users to build their own pools of items which they'd like to be offered. Two years ago we had at least 4 or 5 days where the calendar didn't reset at Daz midnight but rather UTC midnight, causing all sorts of issues and a lot of discontent, so one missed day is not that much of a thing in comparison ;).

    In general, if you want to preserve your sanity, remember that there's always another sale, and forum users are here to help figure out issues with not working coupons, botched promo wording, and so on. It's probably the most friendly and helpful community I've personally seen.

    Me too!  I have 3 punches, have shopped every day of this assault campaign, and my advent calendar shows only a product to BUY, no "gift."  Repeated hard refreshes have done nothing to change it.  Given that it's late in the day day on the holiday eve, I'm guessing this won't be fixed; any chance Daz will give us another advent gift tomorrow to make up for this since this was part of the motivation to shop every day of this holiday season at daz instead of doing other things like enjoy the holiday and all that people-oriented nonsense?

    It would have been a nice finale if the calendar had worked until the end, but I'm not upset about it. For a whole long month, I collected tons of freebies and almost-freebies, and I'm grateful for that. Happy New Year!

  • Hello, same here... paid every day for the choice free/paid calendar item. No choice on 31, so i had to buy birdy 2 at 2.99.

    Sadly. yes.  The DAZ store is rather infamous for sales not working properly... just go back through the pages of this thread and read and you'll see that it's pretty common for something to need to be fixed after the sale starts.  That said, they usually manage to eventually get things working for the most part... and on the plus side, there are often what everyone calls "glitch sales," cases where the errors work to the customers advantage, creating crazy discounts that usually disappear in a few hours.

    30 mins past changeover, Debut New still showing at full price and not showing on main shop page. Looks like something needs a swift kick to get it to update?

    The tokens should work now. The other coupons are a separate issue and no one is available at the moment.
